I am obsessed with this, but they're outrageously expensive at starbucks. While it might make sense to buy in bulk and just portion out what I want to eat for the day, you can't beat the convenience (and if it stops me from eating a bag of chips, all the better). The basic-garlic combo is great with these olives and takes away a lot of the unpleasant bitterness people don't like about olives, while still satisfying salty-sour cravings.

Excellent Snack During/After Exercise

My boyfriend and I are active outdoors - running, hiking, bicycling. We first bought a pack each of these little olives for a long run/hike in the foothills of Boise, ID. It was mapped to 18 miles and we managed to get 21 miles out of it on a warm, sunny day in early June. We had a combination of food/nutrition with us - gels, energy chews, some buffalo jerky bites, and these Oloves. We had the Oloves, 1 pack each, at about mile 16 and they might have been the best things on earth at that precise moment. It was wonderful to have some "real" food, plus the salty bite of the olives and the tartness of the lemon were a fantastic combination. The package opened easily and there was enough oil/juice to keep the olives moist without being messy. It's a nice, compact package, too, which is nice for carrying the empty back out. After that experience, we ordered this multi-pack and have used them for our treat after long runs and to take with us on longer bicycle rides. We like the idea of the spicier flavors, but have stuck with the rosemary and lemon because we use them during or immediately following strenuous exercise.

I did not follow the instructions on the package that says to refrigerate and then consume within 3 days, I just swallowed the whole bag, and then another bag. Yum. I would like bigger bag so I didn't have to eat more than one...more flavors also.

Tasty little treats!

I love these olives! The green pitted variety have proven very delicious (3 flavors of green, 1 type of black)... the black pitted olives however, were very odd tasting. I do think they are defective. The tiny package is ballooning out as if there is some sort of gas build up inside the package. I included a picture to compare one of the green olive packs with the black olive pack. Maybe someone can shed some light on what may be wrong with the black olive? Despite this little issue I will still be ordering these olives because the green pitted variety is delicious!

great flavor, ok price

Lots of people were complaining about the price of these. Most olives with this kind of flavor variety are 3-8 dollars jar. The equivalent of 3-5 packs are in those jars. Based on that, these are right in line with the middle of the gourmet olive price range. AND they are in single servings that don't need to be refridgerated, so they are great for taking to work, on trips, or camping. If they could get this down to a dollar a pack, they'd be absolutely perfect. I think most people would subscribe to them through amazon if they could get a small discount.

A Great Treat For Olive Lovers!

I was skeptical at first buying these because I had never eaten olives out of a bag before, only out of a jar or can. I know that different packaging can effect the taste of it's contents. My coworker convinced me to give these a try, and boy am I glad I did! They don't come nicely packaged, so don't expect these to make a lovely gift. It's just your typical Amazon box with these little olive packets tied into a plain plastic bag. That made no difference to us, since we just toss the packets into a basket, but it's good to know in case you were counting on pretty packaging. The olive packets contain roughly 10 medium olives each. The perfect snack size, unless like me you find yourself tempted to eat multiple packets simply because they taste so good! But if you pack one in with your lunch you'll walk away satisfied. As for the taste, they are so delicious it's tempting to sit there and eat the entire order! I didn't notice any difference in taste to an olive from a glass jar. They are very "clean" tasting, none of the metallic tang you get with canned olives. The olives are sealed in with just a splash of oil and flavoring, not enough to overwhelm the olive. Just enough to soak it in tasty goodness. The flavoring itself is mild. You can taste the olive itself, the flavoring in no way overpowers the experience. It's just enough to be absolutely delicious. If you love olives, you'll love these tasty flavored olive snacks.

super easy-super yummy-oh, so, portable!

Deee-licious! In march of this year I changed my way of life by moving into low-carb eating. For me it has been so easy peasy giving up sugar, bread and pasta, but finding the best food to pack for lunch can sometimes be a challenge. These olives are fabulous, delicious and easy. Ingredients are perfect if you are working at feeding yourself clean food.

On the go, go snack for weight loss

I would highly recommend these Olives! I bought these because I remember eating them one time on an airplane ride 2 years ago and thought well why not?!?! The variety pack was a perfect on the go weight loss snack, not only is there just enough olives in each package but they also are each a blast of flavor. My only con would be that the olives are a little more firm than a I would have liked them but lets be honest the cute packaging, fantastic flavors and to go meal deal is hard to beat!~

wow, these taste great!

I've been looking for some high fat low carb treats, and as a lover of olive oils, thought I might like actual olives. These are very tasty! I gave a few packs to my wife, and she is hooked too. Great for travel, for taking up skiing, and for those days when intermittent fasting requires a little help....these olives work great!

Perfect snack for planes

Perfect snack for planes, you can feel very fancy crammed next to the weirdos you always end up stuck near. You can be the weirdo that brings their own olives wherever they go! All of the flavors are good, but the lemon is best.
