I love this little guy.

Great little system for the non-hardcore gamer. I'm 27 but didn't want to want to spend the extra $100+ on something I knew I would only play occasionally. This little guy was affordable and let me get my Zelda fix. Very cute, easy to transport, don't really hard to worry about it getting smashed. Didn't notice a huge difference in graphics with some games (Zelda, Mario, classic games) but had a harder time seeing the screen with Resident Evil. All in all, a good purchase.

2DS is Underrated!

I have absolutely loved my 2DS! It's great that you can play SO many different versions of DS games on it. I don't care about the 3D effect so having access to 3DS games is enough for me. I especially like that the 2DS is a solid item that doesn't bend. It really isn't that much bigger than the other DSs, so it's easily portable. Also, the material is very durable for clumsy people like me!

I was mindblown by the cool little screen with animations and amazing graphics

AHHH how games have evolved and improved over the years!! I remember back in the day when Gameboys were all the rage, so when I picked up this 2DS years after its official release, I was mindblown by the cool little screen with animations and amazing graphics. I really, really like this 2DS. I originally got it for a long plane ride, but I ended up getting addicted to Pokemon. I really like the product design--no annoying cover to flip up every time I want to play it. Plus the sea green color is super cute! :)

Great system for adults!

Love it! Great for the price. Better for adults, my hands don't feel cramped up. I feel like I have room for my hands to spread out, and I don't care for 3D.

Great product!

Great product! I've always loved Nintendo's consoles as they're very aesthetically pleasing to look at and to hold, even if it looks funny at first. The 2DS was a lot smaller than I expected. I own a DS LITE, and a 3DS XL, so I half expected it to be double the length since it's a flat console, but it was actually maybe only 1.3x the length of the 3DS XL. It is definitely well designed. I would definitely recommend this to parents who are buying a handheld console for their kids who tend to break things. The hinges for the screen on 3DS and 3DS XL are their weak points and I've known kids who tend to snap those, or drop the console, and the screen breaks from the hinge. Because this one lays flat and has no hinges, it would be perfect for those kinds of kids.

Very Well Worth It

This is my son's review, who made the purchase: I am just in awe of how great this is! I love this device so much, and with MarioKart already included, it's a great investment. We have prime, so I bought this for $117.00 (that's awesome!). At GameStop, to purchase this exact product, it is over $10 more. This is an awesome deal. I love the way it feels/fits, and I really like the color. I have played about four hours on it and it feels great to play on! All the buttons are very nice, volume slide is very smooth, and the L and R buttons feel great and work very well. None of the contents were damaged, and it was in mint condition upon arrival. The ONLY possible complaint I have is that when I got the box, it was a tiny bit dented in the top left corner of the box (and I do mean tiny). None of the contents inside were damaged. Also, it does come with a code for Club Nintendo, but it doesn't exist anymore, so it is now obsolete (as of July 1, 2015 link: http://club2.nintendo.com/program-notice/ ). Other than those tiny nit picks, I am more than satisfied with it. Equipment that comes with it NOT mentioned in the description: -Instruction Manual for the system -AC Power Adapter (Home Charger) -AR (Augmented Reality) Cards -SD Card for storage (can be found in the SD card slot in the 2DS system) -One stylus in the stylus holder on the right side of device (just in case you were wondering whether or not it came with one) Side notes: Since this system doesn't fold like a regular DS, you may want to purchase a cover/case to keep the screens from getting too scratched. They're usually around $7-8. 10/10 Amazon/UPS did an awesome job!

The battery life is pretty good too

It's really cute and I really don't mind that I can't close it. I have a lot of nintendo lite games left over from my old device and they are all compatible with this device. The colors are cute and my sister is always stealing it from me to play with. The battery life is pretty good too. Overall, I'm glad that I bought this over a 3DS because it was much cheaper and still basically the same.

Makes my granddaughter very happy!

Bought this for my granddaughter (I'm not a fan of these "devices")...............it had to be "EXACTLY" as she wanted, and that is impossible to find locally. Price from Amazon is comparable to what the device sells for locally when they have it. She went nuts with it as soon as it was out of the box. Watched her drop it three times in the first hour of use...........no damage, so it seems well constructed. She's had this for a while now, and it is still going strong. Wish I had gotten her a cover/case for it (this one doesn't fold shut) as it is getting pretty grimy.

Good entertainment chose for my older kids!

Bought several for my older kids (10 - 13 yrs old). Good entertainment. After a while the stylus will just fall out of the stylus slot so stock up on the pens. Otherwise soooo great. I'm happy I chose these!
