A terrifically fun and extremely potent character

A terrifically fun and extremely potent character. Torch's basic attack is a medium-range flamethrower that does continuous damage when switched on. Once you've purchased the appropriate skills the beam gets stronger the longer it's held. Making sure all your enemies remain in the cone of the flamethrower and don't flank you is one of Torch's major challenges. The secondary attack is a horseshoe toss. Horseshoes that hit stay stuck to the target, and if you take the lower upgrade path you can make them do things like damage continuously or explode. Torch can even animate them to attack enemies independently! The final attack is a pirouette that damages nearby enemies. It's the same thing a lot of other ranged Skylanders have, and is mostly useful as a panic button.

One of the better characters!

My son ha grown up with the skylanders series of games and has always loved them immensely. He still does and at this point Imm really surprised tey can keep creating cute characters that the kids all still adore! This one is no exception. In fact it has become a favorite! I can't attest To the in-game skills or powers of this particular skylander, but I can tell you that it elicited little shrieks of joy when it arrived! It's definitely one of the cooler figures and if you're looking to purchase this for a child it will be a hit! Overall it's a great game. If you don't dwell too long on how much money you've sunk into these little toys over the years it will surely provide tons of joy for the whole family!!!

Once you have the train level saved in your game ...

Once you have the train level saved in your game you no longer need the actual train figure. You can give it to a friend or resell it. Unless your a collector then you can just put it on display.

Gift for a little friend

Bought these as a birthday present for a friend’s kid. He is into the Skylanders world and we figured he would like this. Of course we were right! He loved them and wants to collect more. The toys seemed to be a good quality but we did not unpackaged them, just giftwrapped them. Last we heard he is playing with them a lot! A good gift for someone in the world of Skylanders!

Great multi-pack for the price

I loved that this multi-pack came with a variett of characters and specialty pieces. These pieces goes perfectly with my Skylanders Trap team game console. The item matched the picture and description perfectly. I like that when inserted in the game, the orb will light up and the captured character will speak!

Great addition to his collection. However, this doesn't work for wii

more villains to trap!

My son had been wanting these to be able to access the final villains of the game and trap them. We got this as an "open box" product which actually just meant the backing had fallen off (which seems to happen at a lot of retailers due to heat). All the pieces were still sealed in the package and they worked great!

Fun, cute, reasonably priced game figures that my niece just loves. I can't say anything bad about them. I'm not a fan of "collector" style toys because I feel it's a cheap way to get kids to pressure their parents into buying them more and more stuff, but the fact that all these characters work on each new release of the Skylanders game is really appreciated. No need to replace them with all new ones every time a set comes out.
