This mouth wash works very well. My teeth are so sensitive I have to use sysodyne. This is fo sensitive teeth. Regular mouth wash was hurting my receding gum lines. This is my 2nd bottle

I have never had anything take bad breath away like this

I’m a young dental hygienist and after hearing about this product for a couple years I wanted to see it was about. The mild mint flavor is an adjustment when you’re used to OTC strong mouth rinses but you get used it. I have never had anything take bad breath away like this. This stuff is amazing!! Also, it’s gentle on the tissue and you only need to rinse for 30 seconds. Highly recommend for patients of any age looking to get rid of bad breath and the bacteria causing it!

Changed my dental hygiene routine forever. Gentle and it WORKS!

My hygienist recommended this mouthwash and I am wishing I'd found it sooner. I have mild gum disease and have lost a few teeth due to my struggle with bad genetics and my anxiety about dentists. My dental hygiene habits suffered over the years as a result. The harsh mouthwashes like Listerine and some of the others were burning my mouth and when I'd use it at night they'd make the skin around my mouth break out and the corners of my lips were cracking. I just never felt like they really got my mouth as clean because by morning I'd have even worse breath and felt like I'd been chewing on batteries all night. So, I did not use mouth wash as frequently as I should have and you can guess the rest of it. Did you know brushing only cleans about a quarter of your mouth?? I have 4 crowns in my mouth and it can be a real pain to really feel like I've gotten in there and handled business. CloSYS makes my mouth feel cleaner, for longer. I am not seeing the tartar and plaque build-up creep up as quickly and when I use this religiously at night and in the morning I rarely experience the bad breath I did using Listerine. YES, it does have a slight chlorine-odor/taste to it but once it gets in your mouth and you're swishing it around, it diminishes right away. It feels like cool water with a hint of mint. That taste does not linger. I felt like I'd just gently rinsed with water, only my mouth was SO clean and stayed clean for hours. It may not cure cavities as some of the other reviews on here are saying but it will definitely put a big dent in the amount of bacteria and build-up forming in your mouth. There is a more mild version than this (but I doubt you'll need it) and the senior version which I bought for my parents (and they love!). Long story short-- if you hate mouthwash and avoid it, try this instead. It is so gentle and works so much better.

Stopped the typical plaque/tartar build up on my teeth

Normally I visit my dentist 2 or 3 times a year for teeth cleaning but this year I went 12 months without a visit. Consequently, the dentist measured some deep plaque pockets in my gums and stated she may need to do a "deep cleaning" (which isn't covered by my dental insurance). I opted to have the dental hygienist do a standard cleaning and I would come back in 1 month to have my gum pockets remeasured. So, for 1 month I switched to a Phillips Sonic Care electric toothbrush and started using the CloSys product twice a day. To my astonishment, I noticed after 1 month of use I did not have the typical build up of plaque and tartar on the back side of my front lower teeth! It looked totally clean, just like the day after my last teeth cleaning. Amazing. When I visited my dentist for a follow up visit she stated my gums looked very, very good and I didn't need a deep cleaning. My next visit is in 3 months, so I'm planning to continue to use this product until then and monitor my gums and tartar build up. Sure, my improvement may have been from switching to the electric toothbrush, but I honestly believe this mouth rinse had a bigger role in eliminating the plaque/tartar on my teeth. Why didn't any of my past dentists recommend using a bacteria-fighting mouth rinse to stop or reduce plaque/tartar build up? All I know, is after 1 month it seems this product has worked well for me!

Virtually tasteless (which is a good thing!)

I have chronic periodontal problems among other dental issues, and this mouth wash works great for me. It is virtually tasteless, so much more pleasant for me than most name brand mouth washes (which burn and taste terrible to me). The peppermint flavoring is pleasant and mild if you need some flavor, though personally I usually don't bother.

Good Stuff

I waited to write this until using a couple of months. Mt dentist recommended I use this product. First impression of the mint flavor was yuk! But after using it awhile I actually find that I don't notice the taste any longer. What I do notice is that between morning and evening when I rinse I no longer seem to have that nasty mouth taste during the day. The real test will be my next dentist appointment as he said this should help reduce plaque.

It's Great. A Dose Cap Would Be Nice

I think this is going to work out fine. It tastes a little weird when you sip a dose but that quickly goes away once your start swishing it around. I like the mild mint flavor. I definitely am not experiencing a bad aftertaste as some have reported. The only thing I wish they would do is create a cap for a proper dose, but it's not a big deal. Update: I always go to bed with a freshly brushed mouth, but even with that, I've got a little morning mouth. A small swish of this stuff is great for an early morning refresh before you're ready for coffee/breakfast.

Awesome gentle mouthwash

As I’m getting older my brushing and flossing routine has to become a thorough one, not a half-hearted one. Some people, and mostly Asians, develop gum degeneration. First sign is bleeding gums that don’t stop bleeding after routine flossing. Then the bacteria between the teeth begin to eat away the gum causing gaps/spaces between teeth and gums. Periodontitis. Read up on it. Not going to give a long winded explanation. BUT I was recommended to use this mouthwash to help the bleeding gums. I much prefer this sensitive gentle mint flavor over the original mouthwash that has the peppermint oil drops to add in it (you’re adding more drops to suit your taste). This one has a pleasant mildly sweet texture and flavor. CloSYS is a gentle mouthwash that also helps fight bad breath without the burning sensation you get from other brands. And using it after flossing and brushing helps my bleeding gums and helps with everything a mouthwash does especially helps heal any cuts/sores I get from my teeth aligners or accidental cheek bites.

Changes the pH of your mouth, resulting in less cavities and happier gums

I'm one whose prone to cavities and bleeding gums. My husband (a dentist) says its due to my sugar addiction, but what does he know. I began using the Closys products a few years ago per my hygienist's recommendation. I use both the toothpaste and the mouthwash. Since that time, cavities and bleeding gums have decreased significantly. I love the mouthwash because the mint flavor is very subtle. Plus, it isn't loaded down with excess alcohol and artificial sweetness which leaves my mouth burning and my brain craving a chocolate bar. I use it twice a day and it freshens my breath, cleans my mouth, and changes the pH to an environment that cavities dislike. Win win.

No longer afraid of talking to women

This stuff is the truth. I used to peel onions with my breath alone. Now I grow flowers with it. I'm no longer self conscious about speaking face to face with people cause they don't step back and hold the tears in there burning eyes when I talk to them. I could not be more satisfied
