This is a perfect tuner! I love that it is very small and easily fits just about anywhere. Very easy plug and play. I purchased this because I replaced the OEM head unit with an aftermarket. The biggest issue (Not with the tuner) is that Sirius charged me $15 for a transfer fee from one radio to the next, which took less then a couple minutes, one would think that if you were keeping the service and just replacing one unit for another, they could just make that switch for you at no additional cost.

Radio stations come in HORRIBLE in Seattle area. Bought this unit to couple with a Pioneer AVHS3800BT. Couldn't have worked better. With all of the rain in my area, I was hessitant to mess with door seals when running antenna wire. After doing some research, I decided to try my luck at dash-mounting the antenna. I used a thin metal plate that came with an inferno cel phone mounting kit and some 3M U.H.B. tape to attach plate to dash between my wiper arms. Pointed vehicle south and BAM! Picked up signal with no problems. Called Sirius and got a subscription to the best package- $137 for one year with option to cancel at end of year( it goes up quite a bit after first year due to it being the PREMIUM pkg. Regardless, my reception is fine outside. Cuts out a bit in garage, but thats totally fine with me. I would reccommend this product FOR SURE! Options are endless with Sirius and music sounds fantastic. NO MORE STATIC OR COMMERCIALS!!!😎

Does what it should. This tuner will display album art, which is pleasant. I used the built in SiriusXM antenna that was in my car. All I had to do was remove the coaxial end from my factory head unit, unsnap a little plastic cover that was on mine (Hyundai Accent 2013), and then plug the coaxial antenna end into this unit. Boom. Done. This unit, plus my Pioneer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O8B7BT0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_7) allows me to pause/rewind/skip forward & back live SiriusXM Radio. {Your aftermarket head unit may vary!} It was a pleasant surprise to find out that when I tune other stations, it always tunes to the start of a whole song. I think this is a head unit feature more than a SiriusXM feature. Either way, it does everything I expected it to do, and it was only $7 more than it predecessor.

It works as expected. I've used all sorts of Sirius products over the years, and since I traded my car that had Sirius included in the head unit, I had to go back to using an Onyx EZ. Since I had issues with the factory radio in my car I installed an aftermarket radio that worked with the SXV300v1. It was an easy installation, I plugged it in and hooked it to the antenna, that I had already installed on my car.

Receiver works well. Easy to connect. Take your time placing/installing the antennae. While I know the manufacturer "suggests" where to locate the antennae (roof) I decided to try what was easy first and thus far it's been a success. I have an older model Camry 4-Dr Sedan with a relatively flat trunk lid which is where I opted to place the antennae. I placed the antennae centered on the trunk lid at a point closest to the back window with the wiring facing the back windshield. I fed the wiring up under the trunk lid and used zip ties to anchor the wiring to the underneath side of the trunk lid and down the hinge (I opted for the passenger side) and then began to feed the wiring through the trunk and under trim work until I reach under the passenger side of the dash where I secured the receiver and connected the wiring. Things to watch for using this location for the antennae are 1) Will I experience any interference with the stock antennae in the back window of the car? 2) Will there be an instance when I have a weak signal because the trunk lid is blocked by the roof? 3) Will the trunk lid pinch the antennae wire that I run under the lid between the car's molding for the trunk? Thus far I've had no issues with the signal and I see no signs of the wire being pinched. What I like about this location is it required no mod to the car and no major work of removing and reinstalling a window seal. I also like that if "for whatever reason" I want to conceal the antennae I can simply open the trunk and put stick on the underneath side of the trunk lid until I am ready to use again. Such an example would be an automated car wash where I might want to tuck away the antennae until I am done. If I follow the suggested installation I can't do this. But best of all the installation was simple. I'll keep it this way until I start experiencing issues.

I first want to start with I apologize for my two star rating I may have jumped to conclusions before getting somebody from kicker directly on the phone because of the holiday weekend after some simple settings and adjustments everything seems to work fine ❌my first message❌ ((This seems a little crazy for the fact that I had it on for less than 24 hours and then sometime today it decides that he doesn’t want to produce any music and when I go into the menu settings and then hit information it tells me that the XM radio ID as n/a in the software version is n/a as if it completely crashed which then forced me to take my whole dash panel part unplug the device for five minutes and plug it back in still not working. )) so the update to this would be completely unplugging your radio or disconnecting the car battery for five minutes and plugging it back in or hooking it back up and everything should work fine

Fast and reception is great with antenna on top of roof. You might want to use a tab of good silicon gel to keep antenna down.Have mine hooked up to a Kenwood 6702S head unit and activation was a breeze.I already have an account but called with the phase "Never miss a beat" to number provided. You get free activation ,then 3 months of free all access service, but you then have to keep service active another 3 months or pay seventy five dollar cancel fee. After that you can pick mostly music for about thirty five for every three months.

I installed this behind a Pioneer AVH-X1800S head unit. The antenna is installed INSIDE the vehicle on top of the dash, with an unobstructed view through the windshield. Initially, I just used double stick tape on the back of the antenna to secure to the dash (as I had done previously with an aftermarket SXM adapter for the OEM radio). I did experience some signal cut out & blind spots. This was corrected by removing the SXM antenna from the dash, then first installing adhesive metal disk / plate which is available on Amazon to the location for the SXM antenna, then place the SXM antenna on the metal plate - it will stay in place with the magnetic base. NO MORE CUT OUTS or BLIND spots. After being satisfied with location and reception, I put a bead of black RTV Silicone around the base of the antenna, so it will not be disturbed or moved when cleaning or dusting the dash. I even went into a parking structure and did not loose the signal. So enjoy, you can mount inside a vehicle - just be sure to add a metal mounting base - not included with the tuner.

I purchased a used Lincoln Mark LT pickup with a Clarion aftermarket radio that was "Sirius/XM Ready". I found out that meant there was a connection on the back of the radio and I had to buy the Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit. The price on Amazon was way less than going through Sirius/XM and now my radio works perfect. No signal loss, unlike my newer vehicle with a built in Sirius?XM antenna that tends to lose the signal a bit in heavy wooded areas.

Bought this to compliment the install of the Jensen vx7020 head unit I installed in my Smart car. Installation was a breeze. Plug and play since the head unit was designed to use Sirius. I put the antenna up through the where the A/C is and ran the wire the same way I did with my GPS. I have the antenna on the passenger side of the dash. Works perfectly. Signed up and waited for service to be pushed to the radio. Works as it should. Very happy with the purchase.
