I just received these bags and can only comment on quality of the product which is excellent. Rugged material, strong anchor points, and large metal zipper pulls. I am very impressed and believe with proper care these will last many seasons. Great value. I highly recommend this product. (4/9/17 Update) I inserted 8 gallon trash bags into the sleeves of the bag...filled and packed them with sand...then twist tied the trash bags closed. I was able to get 30 lbs of sand into each weight bag. I experimented with different size bags but found the 8 gallon bags to work the best. Also, I doubled the bags up using two per sleeve. It seemed to work quite well. Hope this info helps.

I absolutely love these! I purchased 3x4 packs for my 10'x12' regular gazebo and for the grill gazebo I have. I put 8 on the big gazebo and 4 on the grill gazebo. I "hung" them all from the upper canopy bars, as seen in the attached pictures. I found that there was no way I could attach them to the legs and still have them be effective, which also would not have looked as good. They are easy to fill with general sand I got at the local big box hardware store. The zippers seem to be of great quality and I do not fear any "leaking." We've had a few decent winds lately and the gazebos appear to be in the same place. I really know when the Santa Ana Winds hit this fall...

I have been using this product for a few weeks, and everything appears to be working great. I used 8 water bottles filled with sand for each Canopy Weight, which hopefully will reduce the amount of leaking sand, and wear and tear on the canvas. -Update 09-01-2017- Still no issues, I attend a farmers market every weekend where these are dropped, strapped, kicked, and on occasion drenched in water. As a helpful tip I suggest putting the sand into plastic bottles, One vendor mentioned that their sandbags have been getting a stagnant odor from the rain once they get damp - which in my case, not an issue.

These weight bags are great to hold down a popup tent. They are designed well and are good quality. I have filled mine with pea gravel and used them quite a few times now and they are perfect. I can hang them overhead from my tent and the Velcro straps hold them on securely. I have also sat the bags on the ground and wrapped them on the legs of my tent. The price from this seller is great and i have seen them much more expensive in other stores. This is the place to purchase them. The arrived quick.

These arrive empty and you fill with sand, cat litter, pebbles, etc. I saw online someone recommended lining with a medium trash bag before filling to help keep clean and nice, so I did that and it works well. I used sand, so these are quite heavy when filled. I often only use two of them on my tent and they are more than enough to weight it down. A few weeks ago, at a farmer's market, the wind kicked up unexpectedly and a few nearby tents were flipped and damaged. Mine didn't budge. Highly recommended. Looks better than many other weight options that I've seen folks use.

Very well made. Heavy fabric, good design. Bought a 50# bag of all-purpose sand and divided between 8 gallon zip-lock plastic bags. Rolled and inserted in each of the 8 pouches. Used for tailgating this weekend. The four filled bags fit in a milk crate for carrying, storage. Used this weekend for tailgating ahead of a rain storm. Quite windy and the canopy stayed put. Would definitely recommend, especially at the price!

I am a sound engineer, and I need a lot of sand bags for speaker stands. These are great, because the weigh between 20-30lbs, and they give you a lot of options for securing them. Also, sand bags can get expensive (especially when you need 10), and these were a great price. I was able to fill the these with 2 50lbs bags of all purpose sand from Home Depot. Including the price of the sand I was able to make 4 canvas weighted bags for $30. That is how much one bag cost at Film Tools in Burbank. I found that the best way to fill the bags, was to put a plastic trash can liner in the pouch, and then pour the sand in that. This way if the bags get wet you wont have to worry about the contents getting moldy and smelly later on.

Excellent. I used 2 bags of general purpose sand from Home Depot for the 4 bag set. Each of the bags gas two tubes for sand. I used heavy duty zip lock bags to hold the sand. Basically in each tube there are twp ziplock bags. I used an empty 'Rotelle' can to measure the sand; each ziplock has six slightly rounded cans. I got all of the excess air out of the bags, rolled them into cylinders, and slipped them in the tubes (two ziplocks in each tube). So the nutshell is I used 100# of sand and 16 ziplocks to fill these, and using the ziplocks keeps the sand from leaking and protects the zippers.

Serve their purpose well. I do recommend, like other reviewers, to line the inside with a plastic bag. We didn't do this with the first set so they look a little dusty, but the second set we did and they look much more presentable.

I've had these bags for about 3 months now, and so far they have been great. I keep my big 13 by 13 canopy up in my backyard 24/7, and so far no problems yet, and it has gone through some pretty good winds. If they last me a complete year I would be well satisfied.
