Great Grill

I like this new grill. The ceramic plates really do make the food slide off easily. I like that I don't need to cook with oil and the natural fat in your food just falls off and lands into the tray. I recommend buying silicone tongs with this because the spatula that comes with this will melt. (Maybe it's just to scrape off the leftover residue when cleaning)

I'd buy it again.

Great value. I cook so much on it that it has become a stable of my kitchen. This cooks burgers and chicken very well. It also makes it so that cooking requires very little attention from me. I just cut up the meat, put it on, set the timer and go. I don't recommend the built in timer. It is pretty useless. It can tell you that it has been warming up for 5 minutes, but the timer doesn't actually tell you that it is now at the right temperature. Thankfully, it does beep again when it has reached the right temperature which can take 10-12 minutes most days. Also, I don't use the timer for cooking your food. I just use a microwave timer, watch, or something else because the timer only gives minutes ( No seconds ). My only other complaints about the plates are that when I put garlic on the chicken, char forms on the plate which is very difficult to get off. Also, if you are making waffles, putting too little mix is a million times better than too much. Pancake batter can be a nightmare to clean out of the back of this grill. Wow, you'd think from this review that I didn't like it, but I actually love it. Like most things, it isn't perfect. However, it is easy enough to work around the weak spots. The freedom that it gives me to just put meat on and leave it is invaluable. Also, ti always cooks well past the required temperature without drying out the meat. I'd buy it again.

Nice grill

I bought this grill as a present for my sister. We often grill when we get together and I really like it. The only problem is that my sister has trouble getting the top grill back in after she washes the plates, but when I tried it, when it was difficult, I just popped in the other one and that worked fine (then I put the one we were having trouble getting in on the bottom). But that's the only drawback I can see (and my sister is rather technologically challenged!). The sear button works as advertised and the steaks we make on it are phenomenal (not to mention the onions, eggplant and mushrooms!). I like the way it "expands" so you can grill ears of corn (which also come out great!). I really, really like this grill.

It did not have the removable grill plates like this one

I had an old Gorge Forman grill that I near wore out. It did not have the removable grill plates like this one. I use this for grilling burgers, vegetables, and making paninis. I used the waffle griddle once (have only had this grill for about 3 weeks) and was very pleased with the performance. I purchased the extra omelet grill pans and like them as well. Making omelets are a little less trouble in a skillet but not as pretty.

I love this grill so much

I love this grill so much! I did a lot of research before buying it and ordered the shallow griddle at the same time as the grill so they arrived together about three weeks ago. I have used the grill 5 days out of every week since and love it! It is set up as a permanent appliance in my very small kitchen, so that tells you something about how much I like it since it has dedicated real estate on my counter top. I have made steaks, grilled sandwiches, made burgers, cooked hash browns, hand made french fries, eggs, bacon, chicken breasts, sausages; I've grilled vegetables including bell peppers and tomatoes, asparagus and sliced onions, all delicious and fast. The grill plates come off quickly and easily and wash up in a snap. They go back on just as fast and I plan to buy the deep griddle and muffin pan plates to round out my collection of removable plates. The "sear" function works beautifully and love that I have control of the heat so I can cook everything to order without concern about having only one level of heat. I highly recommend this grill and feel like it was a really good buy for me.

Best Hot Dogs Ever!

So easy to clean. I've used my prior George Foreman Grill for years but even though the plates popped off they were never super easy to clean but this beauty shines with just a wipe from a paper towel. The ceramic plates are fantastic. Hot dogs and sausage develop a wonderful crisp and snap to the casings when cooked for a few minutes. Steaks come out amazing! With the sear option they are always juicy, cooked to perfection with a sizzle. Veggies grill up lovely as well. I couldn't be much happier with this thing. I hope to use it for many years to come.

I don't know how I lived without a George Foreman Grill.

I am having a blast with this George Foreman Grill. I honestly don't know how I survived without it. I have not tried any of the attachments yet. This one came with two. I love the color and it's so easy to clean. We will enjoy this appliance for many years to come.

I love this so much I bought one for my son as he moved into his new apartment. They love it and use it every night as well. I’m really pleased with the customer service because our first grill was not working properly and it was immediately re-shipped before we even senthe old one back, thank you. George Forman's product great

This is the third GeorgenForman grill that I've owned over the years ...I decided to try this very unique unit when I replaced my worn out one and I'm not sorry I've upgraded to this model! One of the best features I've found is the ceramic grill plates...a real whiz to clean because the residue just about wipes off without having to be scrubbed off! Just warm soap and water does the trick in seconds! Mind that one has to be careful not to scratch the ceramic by using metal utensils! Use plastic and you can't go wrong! Grill has a "tilt" lever to insure that the runoff goes in the grease tray and not anywhere else as well. I am well satisfied with this grill! The timer and temp readout /adjustable is great too!

George outdid himself!

We LOVE it. We LOVE it! We L O V E it!!! We had an old George for any years. I hated using it because of the clean-up hassle. It was also so old that the burgers would stick no matter how much I sprayed it. This is the model from heaven. We used it for fine steaks and burgers. We seared both and got juicy meats both times. Clean-up was a breeze with the removable ceramic plates. I barely soaked them and they were clean! I am anxious to use it again, and I hate to cook!
