Works as well as foil

These worked great. No better than tin foil, but no worse either. It's just nice not wasting so much foil. I got all 10 of them, and none were broken or loose or anything. I bought 2 packs just in case, since I read other reviews that said they were either broken or missing pieces, but both packs came with all 10 in good condition.

These work well and get the job done. I’ve read comments about them breaking easily so I’ve waited until I’ve used them 5 times before posting my review. None have broken so far but I can see why they would so I’m just careful with them. I like that I can still move around and do things while soaking off my nail dip powder. Very convenient and easy to use. I wet the cotton ball first, stick it in the deep part of the nail clip, out my nail on it, then close it with a slight squeeze. When I tried putting the cotton ball on my finger and then out the clip on that was pretty clumsy and I fumbled a lot.

Way better than foil!! A MUST for home gel manicures!

Awesome product! I took my gel nail polish off with the foil method once and I was so frustrated I about gave up! They would constantly fall off, especially while trying to wrap another finger. They ripped and slipped and were so hard to check the progress. I hated it! I bought another set of these through a different sender but it was not going to arrive for two months. And although my gel polish stays on so long, I wanted to change the color. So I picked a seller with prime. I had them two days later. They were a million times easier to use! They don't slip off and it holds the cotton snuggly against your nail. I just cut some cotton squares into four pieces, fully saturated with pure acetone, laid the cotton on my nail, pinch the clip open and without hitting the cotton put your finger all the way in and release the clip so your nail is all the way in. They are a cinch to open and check the progress. It helps speed the removal if you buff the top coat a little and use a heating pad on low and put over your nails. That's the one drawback of the clips, the foil taps heat and that helps the acetone break the gel break down faster. I'm glad I ordered a second set incase something happens to one of them and to have enough to share with my daughter. Very happy with this purchase!

OMG, don't even think about it, just buy these!

Such a simple concept, but man do they work so well and are much easier, more convenient and less frustrating than having to cut up and wrap little bits of foil without the cotton falling out. AND how in the world did they ship them to me directly from China for so cheap?? I use with Onyx Professional Soak Off Shellac & Gel Nail Polish Remover and 325pcs Lint Free Nail Art Gel Polish Remover Cotton Pad Nail Wipe and they take the gel polish off like magic! My only complaint is that these are very narrow and barely fit over my thumb, but I manage to squeeze it in there - it just doesn't hold so close that the polish lifts off as easily as my fingers.

This is better than wrapping foil around my nails. The sizes are pretty good for average fingers, if you have larger fingers it could be difficult. I used these 3 times with pure acetone and there are no signs of deterioration.

Great for gel nails

These are great little aids and getting off gel polish. I was a little worried because the price they weren't going to be tight enough on my fingers but I found that a little bit a cotton with acetone and ease clipped on worked amazingly it was so much easier to use these than it was to wrap aluminum voile around the tips of my fingers like I'm used to. It's a pretty purple purple color and it is hard to do other things with these on your fingers but I Think that no matter what you use to soak off gel polish this is going to take away your ability to do anything else for 5 to 10 minutes while its working. You will not be able to use these to get off fake nails though there is nothing that would hold liquid it just holds the cotton onto your finger. It has a nice firm grip to where you can do it looser or tighter depending on how hard you push it down. I'm giving this product a five star rating because I think that as far as something to help you hold cotton on your nails it's pretty much as good as it can get.

Love these! I usually do my own nails at home. I had only gone to a salon for a gel polish manicure one time a few months ago (because my kids got me a gift certificate for a mani/pedi) and didn't realize the hassle of taking off the gel polish when you want to change your color. I change my polish often - about once every 2 weeks. I LOVED the look of gel polish, but didn't like that I had to either go to a salon to take it off or soak my nails with acetone saturated cotton and wrapped in foil. Seemed a bit messy and a waste of cotton, acetone and foil. These little clips are convenient, reusable and durable. I can pull apart 1 cotton ball into 5 pieces and put very little acetone on the cotton pieces. I place the soaked cotton just on top of my actual nail bed and put the clip on each finger. The clips hold the moisture in. It doesn't let the acetone evaporate. The pressure of the clips aren't too tight, they are just right. I purchased 2 sets (20 clips total) because I wasn't sure how durable they were. Other reviews I saw said that they were cheap and break easily. For $1.26 per set, I figured I would try it. I love it. I would recommend it if you do your nails at home. Also great if you like glitter polishes that are a little difficult to take off.

Work Great!!

These work great! It beats the cotton balls/foil treatment. I put very small cotton ball over my nail before putting these on and it work great! Just got them so don't know how long they will last but at this price, won't hesitate to buy another set! You won't be disappoited!

I really, really, REALLY like these things! The whole acrylic nail polish thing is wonderful, such beautiful and long-lasting manicures. However, I was in a bad habit of picking/peeling off the polish because I found the whole soaking off the polish thing so time-consuming and actually dreaded it. We all know how hard THAT is on your nails. So then I saw these little clips on Amazon and just had to try them. I take a cotton pad and cut it into fingernail sized pieces, and saturate it with the soak-off solution, and then clamp it onto each finger with one of these little clips, and it has cut down the soak time by like half for me. My daughter doesn't like them as much as I do, she prefers the whole aluminum foil wrap to soak her's off, and I told her to try clipping one of these on each nail over the foil to give it a good tight seal and soak it off faster.
