Great little pool! Very important to level out the area. The filter is perfect and I have a nice and clean pool all the time. Great way to start my summer!

Even if this thing only lasts through this summer, it has been so worth it. We've had this up for about two weeks with daily use. Went up so easy and easy to maintain. A few notes: - We placed ours on a tarp on my very flat sun deck. - When filling pool, have someone inside working out the wrinkles and making sure the pool is filled evenly. Ours looked ovular at first until we gently shaped it while filling. - The filter that comes with the pump will get dirty fast. I hose mine out every three days when I check the chemicals. The replacement filters are cheap (go for the multipack). - we already had pool accessories from an old pool that does not come with this purchase. I use the skimmer frequently. I also had a floating chlorine dispenser. - There are kits that offer shock, test strips, stabilizer, and algaecide. This pool is so small (>750g?) that I didn't shock; we just loaded up the chlorine dispenser with the tablets until we got the right level and took out the excess. - if this is your first pool, consider using baking soda and borax to help with pH and alkalinity rather than buy the chemicals

Amazing deal! I am very impressed with the quality of this inexpensive Doughboy style pool. The liner is very thick and sturdy and it is strong enough to withstand being pushed off from inside of gently and is very convenient to use. I got the cover for $10 which I love too. End up a few friends have had this pool before and it lasted for 3-5 yrs even with kids and pit bulls around it. Highly recommend May 2018 update.... just set it up after being stored in a well protected area of the garage with nothing touching it and, it is leaking out the drain cap. Clearly a defect. Pool was fine when put away last September, only used for 4 mo last year. Noticed leak at set up. Called Intex, nothing they can do since it's over 90 days from purchase. Although I am not happy about this situation, I likely will replace it with another because it's $50 & gets over 100 degrees where I live. I want to add that I am a 50 year old adult with no children and no rough housing in the pool. Just a defective drain cap it appears. A replacement pool "liner" (aka, the pool minus filter and tubes) thru Intex is around $40, so why not get a new filter, etc for a few $ more?

Well, I got a good one.. no leakes, all the parts were there.. There were no less than three different diagrams on how to assemble the pump and hoses, not to mention a DVD that I didn't watch, plus there are instructions on line... so for the people who couldn't figure out how to assemble it... OH WELL... AND YES, YOU HAD BETTER GET YOUR GROUND PERFECTLY LEVEL OR ELSE IT WONT SIT EVEN. This is the biggest part of setting it up. I used a level and im still low about an inch or so on one side.. it works, but is tilting slightly... Pool was easy to set and fill, just add an inch or so of water, then working from the middle pull the bottom flat in all directions to get all the wrinkles out, then continue filling. The pump is pretty weak... as soon as the filter starts to get dirty it will just about stop putting out any water flow. So. pull the filter regularly and check it.. if its full of dirt (looking brown), blast it with a jet of water from your garden hose on the smallest nozzle opening and highest pressure... it will come amazingly clean.. and will allow water to flow through the pump again..

Perfect size for my two rowdy boys!

This is a high quality pool. However the sizing is deceptive as its the exterior dimensions. Inside diameter of the inflatable top ring is 6 1/2 feet and the water depth is 23 inches.

We basically wanted a pool that my 4 year old couldn't drown in (without trying, always supervise your kids) , that would fit on our back deck, that came with a pump and filter because of the outbreak of noro virus at public pools this summer. We bought $25 worth of Styrofoam insulation at our local home depot to line the deck with and literally sat the pool up in 4 hours including fills (we hauled two 200 gallon tanks from our farms spring and it filled pretty much to the top. We do still have some wrinkles in the bottom liner but rather than that I'm pretty content with how easy the set up is. The filter seems to be doing ok. I still skim it every day to make sure I get everything out in case the filter misses something and we're running it around 6 hours a day. I bought a floater off Amazon and put two one inch chlorine tablets in it. The jury is still out on whether I'm using enough or too much. Overall, if you are like me, a pregnant lady in the summer who has a 4 year old with energy to burn a pool like this really is the best thing you can invest in. It allows your child to burn energy and you to stay cool. By the time we were done I had $90 in everything but still need to buy a cover. I plan on using the black trash bag trick to get my water warm and buying the index drawstring cover.

I wish I could have a big pool, but this is a wonderful way to cool off or just relax in the heat of summer. I often get in after working in the yard, and my grandchildren love it. It sits at the back of our patio, so it is easily accessible, and we use it often. I like the filter, as it makes keeping it clean much easier, and I bought some chemicals to keep it chlorinated and pH balanced. I am considering giving this to my daughter so I can justify buying the 12 x12 pool! It was a great purchase, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Bought this for myself and dogs to cool off during the horrible southern California summer. Set up was easy. I purchased rubber puzzle mats from walmart, althought I would have got them from Costco if I'd remembered they carry them. Set the rubber mats down first and then filled the pool(to make thoe bottom softer). Filled quickly. I had my Husband set up the filtration system because the directions were making my head spin....I also bought a small chlorine tab dispenser and tabs from Amazon. And my last purchase was a round blue plastic heating/cover made by Intex it's like a large piece of bubble wrap ~20$ well worth it. So all told I'm into this little pool for $125. I used it every day, well worth it. I'm tall and it comes almost to my neckline when I'm sitting. I can spread out and my head legs don't touch the sides. I also bought a floating chair and use that occasionally. Overall I'd highly recommend this pool.

For $40 this pool is the perfect size for filling and draining. We decided to use this for longer than 3-4 days, so we installed the filter. It came with 4 hose clamps that were too big (also, you need 8). So we had to buy 8 hose clamps (~$15). If they provided the clamps I would have given 4 stars. Also, The first one delivered had holes in it. The second one worked fine. Update: We love this pool! So easy to fill and drain. Now that we are using the filter, with a little chlorine, it is so easy to maintain. Also, we purchased the cover so there is no external leaves when we are not in it.
