I bought this stuff to mount a clear spice rack on my wall since I'm renting, I got the rack and glass spice jars before the tape and when I was testing it out to see how heavy it all was, I was convinced the mounting tape would not be enough to hold it up but boy was I wrong! Works like a charm, I could not be happier.

Holds well!! We put this on solar lights, I have one stuck to a gutter, another to a window frame, and a third on a door frame - all outside, installed in January in Missouri...they are sticking great. Very tough tape. Only negative...hard to cut into strips...the non wrapped side gets stuck on your scissors.

When you want to stick something up without ruining the finish, these are for you. Never tried the Gorilla brand but at Christmas time I used them to hang stockings and they stayed up the whole time, even stuffed full of goodies for the kids!. I know they also make the hooks but I wanted something invisible and these certainly did the job!

Used Gorilla Tape to mount my Tripp 8 Surge protector to my wall

This year, I decided it was time to buy more permanent Christmas lights for the bay windows -- LED strips that could stay mounted year-round, because I'm old, tired, grouchy, and given the choice between seasonal light-mounting chores and being a magnificent killjoy and humbug...well, bah, and furthermore, humbug. I lined the windows with LED light strips. They were glorious, beautiful, bright. They flooded my hedges with washes of intense color. My front bedroom could now double as a rave club. Unfortunately, one very spoiled ten-year-old Siamese cat in residence found hunting the Greater Iridescent Electric Window Python an irresistible proposition. I came home to find the light strip, formerly in her favorite window, in a puddle on the bedroom floor, freshly torn down, still glowing brightly. After several minutes of laughter and sharing pictures of her "kill" with my family and friends, I remounted the strip to the window using Gorilla Tough & Clear Mounting Tape. I didn't even need to tack down the entire ~15ft. of the strip; roughly seven total feet of tape, with short gaps between, proved more than sufficient. The light strip has resisted the worst that my mighty little tan tigress (Thaigress?) can dish out. She is presently in the armchair beside it, many days later, nursing the wounds to her pride and/or dreaming of albacore and bonito flakes. She seems to regard the Amazing Technicolor Dreamsnake with new respect; anything that can survive a days-long gauntlet of attacks from a tenacious, determined cat must, in her eyes, be at least somewhat worthy of recognition. Thank you, Gorilla Tape. You saved my sad, lazy-old-man Christmas lights this year.

This stuff saved me this weekend!! I heard of gorilla glue but never used or even knew about gorilla tape. This held up everything I needed to hang up. I had purchased command strips and didn't even need to open them. This worked very well. I was able to hang up my backdrop, put table cloths and table skirts down, and ton other decorations. This saved my life because regular tape not even duct tape would stick to the brick and concrete outside. It was an outside event. I will be purchasing this from now on. Best thing ever. Also not as tacky using tape. This you can't see.

This is incredible stuff! I had a hand carved cedar chest that we used for 25 years to store blankets, etc in. My daughter wanted to use it as a coffee table, but the glass inlay isn't intended for that, and the wood would've been ruined with any moisture (daughter didn't care, but I do). Really couldn't figure out how to attach a glass top to it--glue? too messy, visible, has set up time; screws to glass? of course not; suction cups? wouldn't stick to wood, also not strong enough. ETC! This was the answer. I can't wait to find other uses for it! 1st pic is how it looked without glass top, the other 2 is with it attached, thanks to this product. And now it not only is functioning coffee, it looks like one. Bravo.

Man this double sided tape works excellent, so far everything I used it on is still in place, great stuff... I actually ordered it to use on a humidity packet holder in my cigar cooler/humidor because the double sided tape that came with the mounting magnet kept falling off the inside top of the humidor and down onto my expensive imported cigars, so I used this tape and it hasn't came back off once and is still holding strong, our daughter has a crested gecko and the terrarium he is in has a mount for a day and night light for the gecko and the tape that came with the lamps mount never held very well and kept falling off so we used this tape for that too and the light has also not came loose since, we also tried this tape on a reptile heating mat that sticks to the outside bottom of the terrarium and it always came off, so we tried this tape there too, and it's still in place even though the heat mat gets pretty warm, so this tape has worked really great for everything we've used it on so far, my wife also used this tape on a couple things and no surprise it is still holding there too, so this is the best double sided tape I've ever used, we still have over half a roll left but if I start to run out I'll definitely order more, because it's great tape, but what else would you expect from gorilla glue brand products, oh yeah we use the gorilla glue black duct tape and wood glue and super glues too and they are also great products, so all their glues and tapes work so great and never let us down when we need them, we try to use gorilla glues and tapes whenever we have something that needs taped or glued, if you try gorilla glue products you'll be hooked on them too

SUPERB for my intended purpose (horizontal affixing of peripherals and stationary gadgets to desks and shelves) There are better double-sided tapes out there, but for my use case this is by far the best. This is excellent for sticking things to desks and nightstands, for two reasons, and with one caveat. -This is NOT a foam-adhesive tape. This means no residue when you remove it. -It sticks very well, but you must let it sit (in some cases weight/clamp the item you are affixing) I don't like certain stuff shifting around my desk. I use this to affix a QI dock to my nightstand, a HOTAS, phone dock, mousepad and fingerprint scanner to my computer desk, a battery charger to a bookshelf, and some other similar horizontal-mount use cases. There is nothing better for these uses. When I moved to my new place, I had to unstick stuff. The good 3M doublestick foam tape left residue, and the 3m exterior grey tape was tricky to detach. This provides just enough stickage for things I don't want to budge on my desk, sticks to more diverse (in my case: laminated presswood desk surfaces and metal, powdercoated desktop keyboard tray) and doesn't leave anything to scrape off when I pull it for a move. It holds perfectly for daily usage, but will come off without too much drama if you need it to. This is admittedly a niche use. But it does this niche use better than *anything* else. If you wanna stick stuff to your desk, this is what you want. The one caveat with it is that it takes some time to develop a good stick to most materials. In the generally horizontal uses I have for it, that's fine. This means it might not be ideal for walls and the like, so bear that in mind. But if you want a low-drama and effective means of stiking stuff to horizontal surfaces, this is your guy.

This is the best strongest double sided tape you can buy..those who complain about not being able to take the plastic off are just impatient, probably can't see well, and are wearing acrylic nails and letting the tape make contact with the nails...this tape will definitely stick to anything so if you look at all the pictures the only times it didn't stick is because it had so many darn finger prints on the actual tape..all you have to do is stick it on what you want to hang then peel the plastic off then hang it...the negative reviewers are just making something so easy into a hard situation.. especially the sticky wad ball..lol..like how did that even happen if you used it properly 😒
