• Bright LEDs with 5 colors, full spectrum LEDs and makes phycophyta vivid
  • Extendable bracket makes LED light fits different size aquariums in extendable range
  • High-quality LEDs, can be used at least 50000 hrs
  • If one of the LEDs is not working by being misused, the others would not be affected (But other cheaper ones will be extinguished lots of LEDs and can't be used any more)
  • High efficiency, low energy dissipation, save cost, extend LEDs life span

Amazing light. Bright new life to my 45 gallon tank. The daylight setting did just what it said. I ended up purchasing a new back ground and special white decorations specifically for the blue light feature. One of the best purchases I've made for my tanks in a long time. I'm hoping to see if it will support plant life shortly. I'll keep you posted Quick update. I've had it for over 8 months now and it's still going strong. Not one light has failed and I am growing moss and java fern in my 45 gallon tank. Very pleased with this light and will be purchasing more for my two other tanks

I hesitated when the hood on my fish tank failed. I'm old school, I don't like change. Browsing for a new hood/light, I looked at this (and other LEDs) and thought, nope, looks scary. It's not just screwing in a light bulb....but I kept coming back and looking at it. Finally, I leaped. Add to cart, check out. 2 days later, it was here. Packaged very well. Easy "assembly" just plugging in the figure to the power supply then to the wall. Crossed my fingers and turned it on. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Significant difference from the old tube lighting. Everything even looks cleaner! I like the night setting as well. A beautiful blue glow. I hope it lasts a good long time and I'll enjoy every minute of it. ***Tank is 75 gallon***

I looked around for a couple of months for an aquarium light. I have a 55 gallon tank and this one fit just right. Previously, I had 2 18" bulbs that were very old. One burnt out and the other one quit at about the same time plus they hummed real bad. Theres a ton of led aquarium lights to choose from, but narrowed it down to this one and a couple others. This one had some good reviews, so I tried it. I'm very happy with it. It's super light weight and the cord unplugs from the unit, so it's easy to take off the tank w.o. the cord getting in the way. I have an outlet timer, so it switches on at 9am, then off at 8pm - works great! Note: a timer is not built into the unit, but for a couple bucks, I got one at a home improvement store. It has night mode - blue lights only, which is cool, but I don't really use it. The light is very bright for my 55 gallon tank, if I had real plants, I'm sure they would do great. The color of the light is pretty white. It really makes the fish's colors show great. Being led, it hardly uses any electricity. I've had it for about a month or so, so far so good. I would reccommed this and if I had another tank, I would get this for it too.

Converted my old fluorescent lighting to LED - WOW - what a difference! I love the all blue light for night time. I am glad I went to LED. Nice product - fits nicely on my hood. I added a couple pieces of plastic to the ends to eliminate the light leak (my tank is longer than the lights). But it is gorgeous. The KOVAL light fit well - was packaged very securely. I just took it out, set it on the hood and plugged it in. Works great. Nice price, too.

A month out and so far a great light. This light was installed on an aqueon 46 gall bow front. It illuminates the tank well and is very capable of growing plants. The price of this size light at just below $60.00 is well worth it. It is well constructed with a nice metal housing. The is ample cord length. I have turned on the blue only function and it is fine. I really do not use it though as the light is hooked to a timer that just shuts it off. I highly recommend it at this point. If there are any problems with this light in the near future. I will update this review.

I have an aqueon 38 gallon tank. The 36" model fits perfectly. The quality of the light emitted from this full spectrum LED aquarium light is phenomenal. This is a very economical way to upgrade the lighting on your tank. You will get high quality light, but without the arguably unnecessary features of a built in timer, or a fancy remote control. You might not be able to program a simulated thunderstorm in your tank, but you will be able to get a great light and save several hundred dollars over very similar lights with slightly more programmability and control. The brackets do slide without locking like many people say, but I'm willing to be a little more careful when opening my tank and save $200+.

I have this on a split-hood 50gal tank :). Fits like a charm, and lights up the tank beautifully. Wanted to replace our existing tube lights, and decided to try LED since our tube lights have a habit of melting the plastic inside the hood around the bulb (I use a timer, so no reason for this). The slim line design of this light makes it look more aesthetically appealing even when it is off. Since I left my hood on the tank I simply flipped the hangars the other way so it stands over the tank rather than hangs, and the feet sit well in the tiny gap between the hood and the tank lip so the light is secure. Should have bought something like this years ago! Edited to add some pictures :)

I'm really happy with this light so far. I've had it set up for about a week now and I feel like I've made a good purchase. The light is the perfect size for my 40 gallon breeder. It provides great light even though it's right at the top of the aquarium. I feel like I could raise it up more and still get plenty of light from it. The few plants I have in the tank seem to be enjoying the light and they are growing quickly. For the price, I would definitely buy another one if I decided I wanted more light in the future. I only have one complaint with this light and it is minor. The supports on the side that slide out to be able to adjust to different sized aquarium aren't actually held into the light at all. They are just loose wire that slides in. If you bump the light, these supports will shift and it can make for a scary moment as you feel like the light might fall. I do wish they were held in with some kind of locking mechanism but for the price, I can live with this.

Light originally came with a defective power cord. Got a new one from the mfr the same week. Now have a working light. As others have said it is very bright. I have a 4ft long tank and was originally using 1 10000k bulb and 1 actinic (blue) bulb. I've now switched over to this light which is putting out more light than what I had. Build quality is great! I feel like its equivalent to the more expensive ones. The only thing I would change about it (and its minor to me) is that I would like to see two power cords: 1 for the blue and 1 for the others) instead of having the power switch. My old light had two cords and its useful if you have the lights on a timer since then you can turn on just the blue at night without touching your power timer. Again, its minor.

May 11, 2017: Koval Inc 129 LED Aquarium Light with Extendable Brackets, 36-Inch to 43-Inch: I bought one of these about a year ago. The adaptor cord had one prong and was not protected from the effects of water damage. It quit working due to the damage to the cord connection. The new one I just got this week has a dual prong connection with a rubber sleeve. Once connected there is a hard plastic cover that screw into the threads on the other section, creating a water proof (or at least very water resistant) seal that is several inches from the light. Even if water would accidently syphon out of the tank along this (now heavier duty cord) it would flow down and away from the connection. This is much safer for all involved. I think this is the best LED light on the market for this price, and I now recommend it without qualification!
