Sofa Topper for Back Pain

The foam sheet is solid and supportive. It is flexible but not squishy. It arrived quickly. I hurt my back. It is bad. The pain is awful. I was desperate. With pain like this you will do almost anything to make it stop. I got this foam sheet so I can lay down on my old couch downstairs. I have to let the dogs out early. It works. If I ever get better, I will sew a cover for it. For now it is covered in blankets. What a relief. Medication could not do more. One more word. Amazon is a blessing. I can hardly move and I have access to things I need. My life is better.

My First Upholstery Project

I purchased this product, hoping I knew what I was getting my self into. Having made slipcovers before, this product worked just as I wanted. I did add more batting than a YouTube video suggested, for extra cushion and comfort. The original chairs were never comfortable, now they are welcoming!!

Great for vanlife bed conversions.

I got a 5 inch high density foam and it works great for my van life bed/bench. I do have to mention it took about 2 days for it to almost completely rise to its supposed size, however, the end on one size didn't fully rise to a complete 5 inches but I'm not picky because it's now covered and have pillows around it. I also have to mention that you CANNOT, I repeat, cannot put this material in sun without a cover. I only placed it in the sun for a short couple hours exposed and it turned from white to yellow immediately. But it didn't affect the density of my foam so I didn't return it and I continued to cut it to fit for my van bed. And so, speaking of the firmness of the foam. It's perfect for me. It molds to my body without sinking. It's extremely comfortable. Which is why I overlooked all the other cons to it. It's practically perfect for me and my new vanlife adventures. I had to measure and cut it to size (what you see pictured) since I did a DIY bed/bench. I would have to purchase another one in the near future in order to complete the full bed when it converts. I have a Ford 2019 Transit Connect so my foam fit up to 71 inches. Will buy a second foam soon from this seller. Thank you 💓

Great to redo sofa

Bought this to redo my sofa. Worked like a charm. Fixed my couch sagging completely. Was super stiff at first but after a couple months it’s perfect. Will add another three years to my sofas life. Not sure why there is a stretch railing for this. It’s foam, foam isn’t stretchy.

Not soft enough!

It's a very nice piece of foam but not soft enough! I ordered regular instead of firm (which I'd ordered before) for a couch that is quite hard and I thought softer would suit me. So I'm not using it right now - I'm continuing with the old one. I know usually people with back trouble want a fairly firm one, but I use the couch to lay on, and soft makes me feel better. I'm explaining so that people can draw their own conclusion if the regular density would suit them.

Came quick and was exactly as they described.

72 inches exactly. When I opened it... I measured it at 70 inches. I wrote to the seller and as I was remeasuring as per their request, it expanded by an inch. So I let us sit for another 12 hours and it sat at 72 inches exact. Note to self: give foam time to expand after is comes out of the packaging.

Worked

Used this to fix our flat couch cushions. We had to cut them to fit perfectly but we were able to make it work. The only thing I wasn’t super happy about was the firmness. It’s not bad, it’s just more firm than I expected. As a result, the cushion insert we replaced is not quite as comfy as the rest & it sits a little higher because of how thick the foam is. Hopefully after some weeks of use it will soften up.

Good Quality

Arrived in great condition, well packed so no rips or exposure to dirt. For my purposes, 2 dog resting mat inserts and as a window seat cushion for the dogs, it was perfect. For humans, buy something thicker, this will be too thin to be truly comfortable. While the manufacturer says "high density" there's nothing particularly dense or supportive about it (as opposed to the closed-cell foam density of camp mats which is so dense it has little give), this is more like a nice squishy feel for light duty. It cuts very cleanly w your choice of scissors or knife w no little bits of debris.

Puppies! Got to love them

We purchased this product because we have a puppy that ate our couches. No seriously ate them. So instead of wasting money buying more furniture we are getting creative. And this here was a god send. This is a pretty firm pad but it is working out great. This is so good we ordered a second one so we can fix the back of the couch

Good cushion. Read.

Probably the way this item was stored may have helped the smell this item had when it arrived, very similar but stronger than the smell one would get by storing clothes in boxes for a long time. Besides that, this cushion worked out for my project very well, very good density and very comfy.
