Great item. Reads in Fahrenheit degrees and %-RH. I checked the humidity accuracy against my benchmark Caliber IV digital hygrometer and it agreed with it spot on. I think the humidity accuracy is better than the stated +/-5%. I bought several to drop in each of my cigar humidors. These are just the right size, compact yet with large, readable digits. I will be buying more of them. You can't go wrong!

Update on initial review.....Qooltek HIGHLY recommended!

From the onset I purchased a digital thermometer from Qooltek and it arrived quickly, but the unit did not function as it was supposed to, and the instructions were "very vague" to say the least. Upon making my initial review, I received an email from "Rose" at Qooltek explaining the situation to me and that I had apparently received a non-functioning unit. Rose explained to me that the reading "Lo" means the unit is bad. She informed me that they would send me a brand new thermometer. The following is my update on said thermometer: "Product update. Upon posting initial review, I was contacted by "Rose" from Qooltek and she told me that I had received a defective thermometer and that they would make it right by sending me out a new unit. I was impressed that companies DO actually read their customer reviews of products. Rose explained to me via email that if digital readout was depicting Lo....then the unit was defective. " "Anyway, Rose did send a brand new unit out and I am happy to say that it arrived intact and it works quite well. I use this thermometer to check water temperature in pex line coming from wood boiler outside into my basement." "My initial review has been upgraded to "I highly recommend this company and their products". Instructions can be found on their website and to be honest, not much to read except how to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Rose explained to me that the probe head does NOT have to be inserted dead on...it can lie next to what ever it is you are checking on temp. Enough babbling. Accurate, Seller was great.

Bought two. Seem accurate when compared to any other thermometer. One started acting up, and the Seller jumped all over it and had a new one at my door in just a few days. I see how they are built and I saw they are not hardy. If you treat it well, it will provide you a long service life. If you yank the cable, are dropping, or storing it tossed about in a tool box; it probably will not be up to the rough treatment. I keep them in my refrigerators, with the probe in the fridge, and the reader mounted in the top hinge with two sided tape. I would definitely get again. Seller was great.

Works great and is good quality HOWEVER be sure to understand it on reads temperature in Celsius.UPDATE (5/17/16) The seller contacted me regarding the Celsius issue and offered, at no cost to me, a replacement that read in Fahrenheit. The replacement came in the other day and works great! It's not too often a seller takes upon themselves to offer a replacement at no charge. Very happy with this product and seller!

Thats pretty accurate in my book

3 guesses where I have the sensor probe located. Mom always said leave it in for at least 3 minutes so I did. Then I left it in a while longer to see if it varied. It didn't and stabilized at this number. Thats pretty accurate in my book. It appears as if the probe updates itself about roughly every 30 seconds, and as the probe changes temperature the temperature rises until it reaches equilibrium. Its not an instant measure kind of thing. It really did take a couple of minutes for it to properly climb to my body temperature. I was tempted to take off a star for no on/off switch. You will have to remove the batteries (easy to do). But this precise accuracy deserves recognition.

Works well & accurate

As you can see this item is in my snake’s tank and seems to be working well. It arrived on time and packaged well. I have a different type of hygrometer/thermometer on the other side of the tank and the humidity range seems consistent between the two and my ball python had a good shed (humidity was good!) I have ordered a second one for my gecko’s tank as well.

Digital Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer

We've had a digital wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer for some time. It finally broke a couple of weeks ago. We looked for one in several stores, but found nothing. I went on Amazon and found the Qooltek Digital Wireless Thermometer Indoor Outdoor with big digital LCD display. When it arrived it was much smaller than the one we had and I thought we wouldn't be able to read it from across the room where our old one sat. Finally, my husband hooked up the outside unit and then the inside unit and low and behold we not only could see the temperature, we could see it better with the new unit. I'm not sure just why because the old one had larger numbers on it. It might be because the units made today have technology that the old one didn't have. Anyway, we love the new one with it's very sharp, bold numbers displayed and we also like that it doesn't take up as much space as the old one did. For us it's perfect, and didn't break the bank.

No Need To Calibrate - Worth The Money

This is a very good hygrometer/thermometer. I use it in my cigar humidor/cooler in conjunction with another digital hygrometer so I always know what's going on. I have used quite a few analog hygrometers and I find them to be unreliable in the long term. These digital hygrometers are much better in my opinion and they come calibrated so there's no need to recalibrate (you only need to do this with sensitive analog hygrometers). The accuracy is pretty decent, well within +/- 5 which is fine for the low cost. I've tested this Qooltek hygrometer in the heat outside and inside the humidor/cooler and it does a great job with accuracy.

Qooltek Mini Digital Hygrometer Thermometer Does Exactly What Qooltek States Their Product Will Do

I purchased a Clasico Rosa Desktop Humidor from Cuban Crafters from Amazon, which also came with an analog hygrometer, but I wanted to ensure the analog hygrometer was accurately reporting relative humidity (RH), I purchased this Qooltek Mini Digital Hygrometer Thermometer. I also purchased Boveda 84% RH and 69% RH 2-way humidity control packets. I calibrated both the analog hygrometer and this digital hygrometer following the humidor company's instructions. When the RH reached 75%, I added the 4-pack of Boveda 84% RH 2-way humidity control packets to the humidor along with the analog and digital hygrometers. As outlined by Boveda, I allowed the packets to season the humidor for 14 days. At the end of 14 days I checked the analog and digital hygrometers, and the digital hygrometer show the RH to be 69% and the analog hygrometer showed RH to be 70%. After another 24 hour period both the analog and digital hygrometers read the same RH 69%. I am pleased with the Qooltek Mini Digital Hygrometer Thermometer. It does exactly what Qooltek states the digital hygrometer Thermometer will do. Works Great

This hygrometer works great in my cigar humidor. The screen is very easy to read and it came calibrated. It has been very accurate so far for the first few months. I will see how long it lasts. Compared to my xikar that I replaced with this one, I really like this one a lot more. The xikar was not calibrated and always seemed to be off for temperature or humidity. I really like how easy this one is to read and how small it is. It barely takes up any room in my humidor. I highly recommend this to anyone trying to get an accurate humidity and temperature reading.
