I was really impressed. Was nervous about making the final choice to buy noting the positive and negative reviews on this and all swings. Seems many people had good and bad experiences. This is a really good value, it was a little hard to assemble. The clicking noise people spoke about is barely noticeable unless you are fixated on it. The music is adorable and the fact you can plug it in vs just batteries is a huge plus for me. The dial for how fast it goes is 1-10. We use 1 for our newborn grandbaby. Oh, also at the same time I bought one of the head stabilizing pillows for babies that can go in a swing or carseat and put that in there since there isnt one. That is what you see in the picture. I highly recommend this swing.

I waited to buy this for my second child as we had purchased a more expensive swing for the first baby and she hated it. With encouragement from friends who swore by a swing, I finally caved and ordered this one because it is much lower of a price than the ones I found at buy buy baby, which are all these fancy, motorized contraptions. Anyways, not wanting to spend $300 for a swing he might not even use, I ordered this one. He really loves this and will sometimes sleep for 2 hours in it which is amazing! It was easy to assemble, very basic, nothing fancy. I debated giving it 4 stars because after about a week of use it started making this annoying squeaking sound when it swings. I keep it in the living room and the baby doesn’t mind, so I’m not downgrading for the squeak. If I had this in our bedroom I don’t think I’d be able to sleep through the noise tho. Great buy overall for something basic to keep your little one happy for a bit while you get other things done around the house or even a hot shower!

Ok let me start by saying I would give my left arm to make sure I never have to go another day of raising an infant without this thing. All the reviews that are saying negative things, they are just chronic complainers because there is nothing bad to say about this. It's so reasonably priced, it doesn't take up too much space, colors are nice and neutral if you are one of those weirdos who has to have baby items that match your decor. But even if it weren't any of those things, I wouldn't even care because this is the only way I can put my baby down and take a dump without having to squeeze it out and not wipe good enough. It doesn't make a squeaking noise, nor can I hear gears going unless I have my ear up against it even on the highest setting. I have a 13lb 7 week old. I have been using this for one day and I can truly say it has changed my life. My baby sleeps great at night but fights every single nap and wants to sleep only in my arms. This thing was easy to put together and those who said it wasn't probably just suck at putting things together. The instructions were crystal clear. If I have to be a complainer for other people's sake who would like to know, the material could be softer/better quality and I would love if I didn't NEED batteries for the vibrating function. Only the music/swinging work with the plug. But who cares seriously, get this when your baby is BORN don't wait 7 weeks like I did. You will not regret.

I was a bit nervous about this product because the price was significantly lower than others like it. My worries were totally unfounded. The biggest thing I love about this is that it plugs into a wall outlet! I did not want to have to buy batteries all the time. I also like that it does have the option to run it on batteries in case you do want to use that option. I want to address some of the biggest complaints I've seen in the reviews: 1. The swing provides little or no support for small/newborn babies -- I can't she'd much light on this because we bought it for our 14lb 5 month old who sits just fine in it. However, I can say that the padded head support is thin and doesn't look like it would support a tiny baby. 2. The swing speed is extremely slow or barely moves for heavier babies -- this concerned me because well, if the swing doesn't swing, what's the point? My son is currently 14lbs which some reviewers said this swing would not support. Our swing has no problems swinging my son's weight. Sometimes it does seem to start a little slow when you crank up the speed but I simply give it a little swing myself and it picks right up at that speed and continues it. It had no problems starting and maintaining lower speeds. 3. It is very loud when swinging -- some reviewers said that this swing was so loud that it drove them mad and they had to turn it off. In my experience, unless you're extremely sensitive to sound, the clicking and whirring noise shouldn't be a bother at all. It's the same noise that every swing I've ever seen makes. I can't help but wonder if some people had recieved swings with defective motors if they were that loud? 4. The music is horrid and obnoxious -- even the 4 and 5 star reviews mentioned how bad the music was. We have a baby chair that makes the most ob noxious, high pitched sound when the toy is pulled (we don't pull the toy haha) so I was kind of expecting the swing music to be like that. I wasn't planning on using the music feature just because of how bad people said it was. Well, I checked it out after we set it up and I was pleasantly surprised! I actually like the music! I find it very calming and not obnoxious at all. Both me and baby fall asleep with it on. But, if by chance you fall into the camp that finds the music insufferable, just know that you can leave it off and turn it off with just the push of a button. 5. The mobile doesn't spin -- this is true. The mobile just hangs on the swing there is no movement to it. Yes, it would be nice if the mobile spun to keep the baby's attention (my son doesn't seem to care at all about the non moving mobile) but for the price, I can't complain! Overall, I would definitely recommend this swing! It's budget friendly, doesn't take up a ton of space, is easy to assemble and it keeps baby happy!

This swing saved my life! I couldnt put my baby anywhere or in anything without him waking up 10 mins later. I was getting so tired and couldnt get anything done around the house... until I bought this swing! He loves being in it if hes asleep or awake. I also like that it plugs into the wall so you dont ever have to worry about batteries going dead. Ive had it for about a month now and its still going strong. I highly recommend this swing!

Our son seems to be somewhat high needs, as he prefers to be held most of the time. We had an electric glider/rocker that he didn't seem to mind when he was a newborn, but doesn't care for it as much now that he's older. We can get him to sleep in this sometimes, but use it more as a way to calm him or give our arms a break and do a few chores before he loses it that no one is holding him. It's quiet, was easy to assemble, has a nice selection of music/sounds, and provides a gentle rocking motion. I highly recommend it, even if it helps for just a few minutes!

We already had a mamaroo on our main floor, and I wanted to get something for our basement because my son is very fussy and wants held all the time. I needed something else that he was would be content in so I can play with my daughter or get things done around the house, and I didn’t want to spend all that money on getting another mamaroo. I was a little hesitant to buy this because there were negative reviews and complaints about the speed and how loud this is, but I don’t understand what all the negative reviews are about for this swing!! This is a great swing for cheaper than other swings that are on the market. Other people commented saying this swing is loud, it does make a small clicking noise, but I can only hear it when I am right next to it, and it doesn’t bother me! Our mamaroo swing is a lot louder than this swing! This swing has six different speeds and the third speed seems the same speed as our mamaroo on its highest setting if not faster, so the other speeds on this swing are pretty fast. I don’t know what other people mean when they say that it barley swings. When you first turn it on, it takes a few seconds to work it’s way up to the speed you want it at (same as a treadmill). I like that I can plug this into the wall and I like that the controls for the speed are at the top. Our mamaroo the controls are at the bottom and our two year old daughter likes to go over and turn it on and off while our son is in it. This was very easy to put together! You don’t need any tools! I was able to put this together in 15-20 minutes and that was with my two year old grabbing prices of it and making me run after her to get them. The only complaint that I have, is that the top did come out of the box a little scratched, but I believe it is because of how it is packaged in the box with the poles. The poles probably scratched it during shipping, so they hey should have a better packing option for that. Overall, this is a great swing and I would recommend this to other parents!

This is actually the second one I purchased, got the gray colored one for my daughter who is now 6 months old and still loves it. My niece also loved it so we went back and purchased this style for her. Shes 5 month old and her mother says she would rather be in her swing than anywhere else. My niece is more laid back and mellow, my daughter is more of the gotta be in the middle of everything and everyone type. And it works well for both babies. So much so I think I will make this my baby shower go to gift for all of my friends that are currently pregnant or in the future. I love the fact that its a one touch button system, is not hard to one hand a child out of it. You can use with or without the shoulder straps. And it is super simple to put together. The only part I had some trouble with is the seat bars into the swing mechanism, I would suggest putting the leg poles together then attack the seat then put it all together that way. My only complaint would be that it doesn't recline very far back. My 6 month old is holding her own bottle now and hasn't gotten yet the concept of holding it higher when shes more upright, also when she falls asleep in the swing her head tends to lean forward or off to the side. Would love to see this model with a reclining seat. I tied a ribbon around the mobile so my daughter could play with the stars and she loves that she can make them move and even grab a hold of them sometimes.
