This bike is awesome! Best purchase/toy ever! We got this bike for my son at 20 months and he is a pro now, turning corners fast with his feet up. It's so cool to watch! We are like dang he's good!haha. It didn't take long for him to get the hang of it either, maybe 3 days. It's so fun going all together as a family on our bikes too :))

We got this for our daughter's second birthday. She immediately got on it and was able to walk it around. My husband is a triathlete and is very particular about his bikes, and was please with the quality of this one, especially the real tires and handbrake. Our two year old hasn't figured out the hand brake yet, but it will definitely come in handy when she's riding this around our hilly neighborhood.

This is the best balance bike hands down. I did a lot of research looking for a balance bike for my son for his second birthday. Every list and review I came across had this bike at the top or close to it. Because it is a little pricey, I wanted to make sure I was making a good choice. It is incredibly well engineered and well worth the money. I was worried he wouldn't like it or get bored with it, boy was I wrong! After a few weeks my 2 year old, who has never been on a bike or trike, is coasting along like a pro. This isn't because my son is a natural (as much as I would like to think so), it is because this bike is designed to encourage correct balance and form. I highly recommend checking out the woom website. My son is 36" and 34 lb. when we bought it so he has no problem handling the bike and it should last him for 1.5-2 years (2 summers for us). At that point we are keeping with woom and buying a woom pedal bike!

We bought this bike as a gift for our daughter's second birthday. She loved bicycles and tried out the strider at a store near us but we ended upgrading her to this bike after reading the online review at twowheelingtots. Our daughter is average sized but has a short inseam which really limited the balance bikes we could get her. This one fit great from the start (she was in 18M-2T pants) and she was easily able to maneuver the bike and pick it up from the start. I think she probably could have used it around 18 months if we had bought it for her that early. She used it a bit at 2 but mostly walked over it, took a break from riding because it was too hot out, then started taking it out every day in the fall. She absolutely fell in love with her PURPLE bike as soon as she started riding it again and this time she immediately started to glide. She uses it several times a week and loves to test herself on it. She is 2.5 and is starting to use the hand brake, which is a great feature for the bolder kids and is helping preserve her shoes! We plan to use the upcycle program and get her the WOOM2 for her 4th birthday or maybe Christmas depending on her size. Another great feature is that the bike is light and well balanced so you can easily carry it by the seat when your kid suddenly decides to run off.

Bought for Christmas for my 2 year old twins and they love them. Within a month and a half they’ve already learned to balance, glide, and even go up/down little ramps etc. when it’s time for a peddle bike we will also get a woom, and I’m confident that they’ll pick it up immediately. We skipped tricycles and training wheels completely. We’re so happy with these bikes! The are expensive, but they’re ultra light weight, well designed, and have real air tires. I believe that all of those qualities improves their experience and encourage them to ride more.

The Woom 1 was top pick on many different sites, and this balance bike did not disappoint. It was a gut wrenching decision as there are many low cost alternates that were equally well rated. But for our little nugget (who's on the small side) it was also one of the few options available. The key decision points were the inflatable rubber tires and a small sized brake lever (just like an adult's bike). I heard many gripes about the solid foam tires but the Woom is one of the lightest balance bikes out there. The pneumatic tires really cushion bumpy sidewalks and overall, this is the slickest looking balance bikes for toddlers. Our girl loves it so much, she rides around the house as well. Absolutely there was sticker shock but you get what you pay for and this is one quality product. I recommend this whole-heartedly and it's one of the best purchases ever for our munchkin.

I've been around high end bikes all of my life and I can quickly tell the difference in hurried production garbage and a bike that was made with care and concern for quality! I love all the thought and detail that went into the design of this bike! The bike is light (as it should be for small kids) and the pneumatic tires ARE A MUST! PARENTS do not be fooled into thinking about convenience versus what will be more enjoyable for your kid! Stay away from airless tires, these roll so much better and you child will enjoy them more in the log run I promise you! The bike cost a bit more than some others, but again are you looking for quality product or one that is cheaper and designed more for speed of production purposes versus your child's enjoyment! I also purchased Woom's wooden bike stand. Its an unbeatable price and a must to keep from having to lay the bike down everywhere. We currently keep it indoors next to front door so Dylan can grab and go!

Yes it's expensive, but it is worth every penny! I bought this for my daughter's third birthday (March 2016). She mastered it in a few months. Last week, I ordered her the slightly larger pedal-version WOOM 2 with the free-wheeling kit. After three days, she can now confidently ride a pedal bike (without training wheels). Oh, did I mention she is 3 years old!? She flies down the driveway and sidewalks; it really is amazing. I don't know what magical voodoo WOOM puts into their products, but they have developed a system that blows away the old training wheel method. I think a lot of what makes the Woom 1 and 2 so easy and comfortable for little ones is their weight. Compared to other balance bikes and pedal bikes, the Wooms are feather light. My daughter doesn't even break 30 pounds, so having a lightweight bike was necessary for her. I know Woom products come with a hefty price tag, but I unequivocally recommend their products for new, aspiring riders. Don't waste your time and money with heavy, cheap, bikes with training wheels. Get your child on a balance bike, then go straight to pedals!

I love this bike, and my two year old son loves it! I bought my son a strider balance bike several months ago, and he never seemed to get the concept of sitting and gliding on that bike. He continued to straddle and walk the bike. I adjusted the seat height multiple times but he never progressed past the walking stage. I purchased the Woom 12 inch balance bike with the much higher price tag. Within seconds he was riding and gliding around, on day five he was speeding around. He has learned to use the breaks and he loves this bicycle. I have put him on the strider again to see if he can now ride it, and yes he now can. But he looks a little more squirrelly and unstable. I attribute this to the structure and placement of his body to the bike. The reach is further for him to the handle bars and the positioning or fit is not as ergonomic. The Woom bike is made like a real bicycle but miniature, and is proportioned well. Worth the money spent and I will definitely purchase the next phase of the Woom bike when he is ready.
