I'm a new pool owner, because it came with the home that we bought a couple of years ago. My initial enthusiasm turned into frustration because as I learned about proper pool maintenance, the realization sunk in that it was work. Prior to owning a pool, I had always sort of scoffed at my neighbor's penchant for hiring a service to do their pools, and I now realized that this was looking like the best thing to do. The lugging of chlorine, the constant scrubbing, the anxiety over subtle color changes in the water and fighting the persistent "green"? It was consuming both time and money, and had become part of my daily routine. I bought these Clorox pool tablets on a whim, thinking that the absence of maintenance just HAD to be too good to be true. However, it was worth a shot because I sure didn't want to succumb to the inevitability of hiring a pool service at $75-$100 per month. The result? I drop a tablet (or two, depending on the amount of rainfall and heat) into the floating dispenser, and it does the rest. My war with the "green" stopped completely, as these tablets not only gave us clean, crisp, clear water, but also reduced my pool-wall scrubbing from daily to every other month! My costs went from approximately $40/month (not including the lost time and energy in doing the work or going to the store for the chlorine and shock) to about $40 every SIX months. These pool tablets didn't just give me an almost maintenance-free pool at low cost and no effort... They gave me back some quality of life.

Great tablets for the pool

Great tablets for the pool. Typically, I go to Costco for these but the price was the same as Costco and these are shipped to my door. Pretty much the same thing but I like these a little more as they are individually wrapped tablets. So you dont have to grab the chlorine tablet by hand and smell your hand up. This allows you to grab the plastic bag and drop the tablets in with coming into contact with the chlorine.

Go clorox

Coordinating tabs work great at keeping our small pool clean. We have a 30 inch by 12 ft pool and these tabs do a great job. The container it comes in is well designed and can be kept outside; tabs are individually wrapped so they stay fresh.

Great price point. Avoid broken/crumbled tablets by buying the smaller containers.

This was the best price point for Chlorine tabs out there (well at least before I got tired of looking!) that had at least 4 stars. But I was concerned that there were so many 1 star reviews. Deciding to go down the rabbit hole a bit, I realized that almost all of them were because the tablets had been broken and/or crumbled into powder. Digging a little more, these reviews were all for the heavier containers (25-35 lbs). Now the pieces (pun intended!) added up. I bet a lot of those larger containers were dropped along the way. I snagged the 12 lb container, and haven't had any issues. The reality is that this type of product is going to suffer some damage with shipping unless they get kid gloves treatment for their whole journey. So unless you have your own butler, go with it. A little dust in the package is normal. As for efficiency, they last more or less the same amount of time as another chlorine tablet I used from a different manufacturer (Leslie's). For those looking for the labeling, I've attached a photo of the rear of the container that talks about usage and directions. (I excluded the section with boilerplate legal & hazardous materials warnings, etc.)

Great price and in perfect condition when arrived. The tablets are individually wrapped inside the bucket. Thees work great for your pool floater and also for scrubbing off stains and algae growth.

Chlorine tabs are generic. It comes down to quanity and price. Sams Club is slightly more expensive but sells in larger quantity. These come in a rectangular plastic box that makes storage easy.

Very good chlorine tabs for inground pools

Living in Florida we go through chlorine like crazy for a pool. I have always bought these tabs locally but decided I would try getting them from Amazon on prime day. Definitely saved us money. It is convenient and I will continue to order them from Amazon prime. The Clorox tabs leave your water crystal clear and beautiful .

I use them for my Toilets and A++++ Results

I use it in place of what it is used for like pools etc. I use them for my Toilet cause they usually sell the small ones.[In Stores for toilets] These babies work GREAT to keep toilet and tank very clean. Even with the 'toilet version' I still had to clean the bowl once a week. Its been over 2 months now! These Clorox Pool & Spa Tablets are Worth the investment all day! ***DO NO USE IF YOU HAVE AN SEPTIC SYSTEM. You will kill the active enzymes hence flooding your tank and then home.

Very good clorox tablets, it really really keeps my pool clean and free from ALGAE! It is amazing how clean my pool is and I don't have to have pool cleaner come as often because pool cleanliness lasts longer with this stuff!
