This stuff is amazing

This works so much better than the shock I get at the pool store and costs the same. Finally got my pool from green to cloudy blue but it seemed to not get better for days after that. Used this and it started improving in hours. This stuff is excellent and I love that I just have to unscrew the bottle and dump it in. As with other shock, the usual dose I use is 1 lb per 10,000 gallons. We shock once a week with 3 pounds (3 bottles of this) for our 30,000 gallon pool.

I was amazed at how quickly this worked

I had never purchased Clorox brand shock before. I was amazed at how quickly this worked. We had a small blue pool with the blow up ring on top. After we mowed the yard, grass blew in and turned the water green. As soon as I poured this in, I could watch it instantly getting rid of the green. Would highly recommend this product!

Gotta try this

I have a 30,000 gallon chlorine pool. I fight algae every summer. I shock, use algae killer and rebalance chemicals. I've tried so many different brands over the years, I curse my pool. This year I tried xtra blue because I was so sick of the pool store shuffle and thought it can't hurt to try. It only took one treatment. I used at the first sign of algae, brushed the algae and added this. My pool looked great and stayed that way for weeks. It didn't kill my chemical profile either. When we had a really muggy week recently, algae was bad and my pool was almost covered in green, I was blown away by how this brought it back to blue. I'm sold.

My new favorite!

I have a smaller pool (14') for my grandkids. I only need about a half pound to shock it, so the easy pouring bottles that can be resealed makes life so much better than with the bags. On top of that, this products seems to dissolve and disperse much faster than the others I've tried.

This stuff is the best!

Previously we were using the Leslie’s Pool Supplies Shock. We like the Clorox Shock with Algae Killing Crytals MUCH more. We have a lot of trees nearby that inevitably blow leaves and blooms into the pool. With the other Shock it seemed like we needed to shock more than once a week to keep it from turning into a lagoon. With the Clorox Shock we do it about once a week. Bottle packaging is great! No more husband or father in law leaving the scissors or a knife outside! In addition to doing a better job of maintaining my pool this Shock also has a shorter wait time. Treat and swim in 15 min. Leslie’s version I think was 12 or 24 hours. The kids are much happier with 15 minutes! Lol My mother in law said that they used Clorox Shock years ago when they had a pool and I am happy to say Clorox is still creating a great product! This product is going on auto ship!

Works great

Recently had algae bloom after using another brand of products. This took care of my issue and I will be using Clorox products from now on. Water cleared up and looks as good as when we first got the pool.

Absolutely love this product. We use 1 bottle per week in the summer (above ground pool) along with only Chlorine and our pool stays sparkling!

Worked A Miracle On Our Algae Ridden Pool Overnight...

Made the mistake of buying a cheap pool cover for our 12-foot metal frame pool; within days of putting it on, our once clear pool water turned green due to water gathering above the cover and causing it to sink below the water level and grow algae like crazy. I thought we'd have to empty the entire pool out because it looked so awful, but instead, we used the suggested amount of this shock, ran our 1500 gph pump for the weekend, and took off for a day and a half to my parent's house. By the time we got back the water was crystal clear and I was absolutely stunned. Definitely a great item and one we will continue to buy for our pool.

Great add to pools especially in hot areas.

I always use this in my pool. It sure does everything advertised. Living in Florida the green mold can overtake the pool real quick. This takes care of it all.
