Perfect for a 5-year-old girl who likes pink & music!
My 5-year-old daughter wanted a "pink piano". I searched everywhere: most pink pianos are for 2-4-year olds (officially also for older kids, but reading the review, most are truly for young kids). Then I found this Casio. My daughter LOVES it! The bottom & sides are pink. The sound is great. She loves the 10 songs (and increasing / decreasing the tempo!) and the 100 different sounds. This was a PERFECT present for her! I'm still trying to figure out if I should buy a stand + bench for her -- she's right now using it while sitting on the floor, on her bed, or in the car...

I love this keyboard
At age 65, I am presently a retired Professor Emeritus of Music, and have just purchased this Casio SA-77 keyboard, not for piano practice, but for working out the harmonic (and even contrapuntal) details of new compositions that I seem to be writing more frequently now that I am retired. This keyboard will definitely make it easier for me to do so. The keys are big enough for me, and it has a helpful array of sounds and good volume control. I really look forward to utilizing it, rather than always working out all of the details in my inner ear. I can still do that, but the keyboard will potentially add a higher level of interest to my works. I still use the computer to write, but now I can take this keyboard along with me anywhere I go. No MIDI input, earplugs or adapter are provided, no problems there. I just place 6 AA batteries in the keyboard and earphones in my ears. I love this keyboard! Absolutely!

Perfect for a beginner like me
Really cool keyboard! Bought this as a near total novice to playing piano after seeing Chris Martin of Coldplay fame play one in one of those Carpool Karaoke bits. Thought it looked fun, and the price was right, so I gave it a shot. My fingers are a little big for the tiny keys, but you get used to it. Lots of different synths to play around with. And with the use of some solid keyboard tutorials on Youtube, I’m making a bit of progress. Have already picked up a couple of tunes. If you’re thinking of starting out like me, or are already a skilled player looking for something to play with, I think the Casio SA76 will work out for you as well.

Super fun keyboard for kids
We've had our keyboard for about 4 years. After our 3rd boy, it has lost one black key, because of the abuse from the 3rd boy. Our kids have all loved it. They love playing the keys and the auto songs. It is durable and has so many easy to use features. Our 7 year old boy is now taking piano lessons on a much more high quality and expensive piano keyboard. I think it is giving our kids an opportunity to explore their musical interests and have fun, for a reasonable price. It's fun to listen to the songs and watch the kids dance around. Is this keyboard for anyone serious, no, I can't imagine. It's just not that keyboard.

Fantastic Keyboard for Beginners
When reading this review, please keep in mind that I am an advanced pianist who has played professionally for decades. Take note that this is a greatly-reduced octave keyboard. There are only two fully workable octaves. It has suited my purpose well as I use it when I'm away from my large keyboard to plunk-out new tunes generally in bed or on the sofa at night before bedtime. I would recommend this for very young beginners only - or for use such as mine. I would not recommend this for older children learning to play due to the smaller reach/range of key placement. They may grow use to this & when migrating to a piano or keyboard that has full-sized keys, it could present issues as they will have become accustomed to the smaller key spacing. Battery usage is excellent. I tinker with the keyboard almost every night and the batteries last about 2 months. Tone is muted - so you won't get that full-bodied sound as in larger keyboards. I've found less that five sounds that are pleasant to play. It's very portable; I stick it on a shelf. I always cover it before storing it away. Also - do not cut the power until you have turned the sound level to the lowest setting. This applies to all electronic instruments for lasting usage. The key-spacing is mightily reduced in comparison to an extended keyboard. Hand spreads will leave your thumb and little finger outside of the chord range.

Great buy! I’m very happy!
Great piano, very lightweight but sturdy keys. Sounds great! I bought it for my one and three year old grandsons and they love it! I ordered the monster stickers with the key letters and they fit perfectly! Highly recommend this piano!

Small product that can accomplish a Big job with good sound and multiple functions
I am a piano player. I own a full size Yamaha and a 88 Key digital Yamaha keyboard. So why purchase a mini "toy" type keyboard.? I wanted something portable that would run on batteries. When I am working on a song I often want to get the melody from my head and out where my ears can actually hear without having to run to the piano. I can sit on the couch or sit in the bed and "noodle" a bit. I can use headphones if needed. In addition it is just fun to listen to the different sounds it can produce. The keys are a bit small, but that was no surprise. Casio has been around awhile, so I think they know how to make quality keyboards and electronics. The cost is minimal for this type of product. It is nicely constructed and has a decent volume for the type of usage I have in mind. (also has headphone jack ) If you want something small that can operate on batteries with multiple functions like 8 note polyphonic (the ability to play 8 tones at one time) I think you will be happy with this well made little keyboard. In addition I think that a child that is interested in music would enjoy "playing" with it as well. Might spark the interest for a future Mozart!

Portable small and fun to squeeze in some practice time. Good for kids
Thanks to the reviewers and musicians below, I purchased this tiny keyboard in order to practice scales etc away from my gigantic keyboard- No way can I drag out that thing every day or for a few minutes of practice! It’s just what I needed to help me squeeze in some more practice time. It was very inexpensive for my purposes. I also have very little hands and this helps me also. It is polyphonic - a few keys play a once although limited in the fullness of the sound. I might even take it to work to practice on my lunch break, it’s so small that it’s very portable. If you have big hands it may not work for you. For a kid just starting out with lessons it would be good too. There are earphones too, moms. You can buy a common electric cord also. It’s too nice for a toddler to bang around. On some advanced topics: Some of the reviewers said that there wasn’t a capacity for changing the tuning. It is clearly in the manual how. But I purchased a very expensive key board to reach middle eastern semitones and even that was very tricky. I think you need a computer connected synthesizer for that or a $4000 dollar keyboard from Corg I believe. Don’t try to reach microtones on anything other than that or a fret less stringed instrument. I am happy that I have this for ability to practice scales and melodies.

Looks and sounds great
Looks and sounds great...my daughter should be able to learn with this keyboard. I added the stickers to help her learn faster.

Perfect gift and great sound
I read so many reviews on this before I purchased it back before Christmas 2017. So many people gave poor reviews simply because it was missing an adapter. It's not really missing. It's just that the listing didn't make it obvious that you would need to buy one if you want one. It doesn't come included. So, armed with that information, I just purchased the keyboard and an adapter. All set. My nephew loved it! And it sounds really great too! My nephew is 12 years old and wanted a live playing keyboard to use. Most of the keyboards I found were either a toy for a young child or keyboards that will only work with a computer. I know the technology has moved along and probably most kids are getting computers and have high-tech gear at 12 years old. But my nephew isn't afforded that luxury. He needed one that he could just sit down and play and hear. Plus he really wanted it to be portable for car rides and trips. This one was the answer! He loves it! I highly recommend this keyboard for anyone looking for something that is more sophisticated than a toy but not designed to only work with a computer.
