It depends on the phone, battery, temperature, cables and charger. But here are a couple of data points using the iClever 24W Dual USB Travel Wall Charger charging the Nexus 5 phone made by LG. The Nexus has a 2,300 mAh battery. There is a clear advantage using the iClever charger over the LG charger that comes with the phone. The charge increased on average 1.41% per minute from 1% to 94% charge level using the iClever and only 1% per minute using the LG charger. So it takes 66 minutes vs 93 minutes respectively or 41% longer using the LG charger. The increase in battery charge is not linear. You get the biggest bang for the buck up to around 80% charge where it only took 45 minutes from 1 to 77% giving you 1.7% increase in charge per minute using the iClever vs 1.1% per minute with the LG or 69 minutes. Old wires can cause problems if they are too thin or there are worn or loose connections. To avoid problems I bought a new set of cables iClever 6-Pack (1Ft, 3Ft, 6Ft) Premium High Speed Sync/Charge USB to Micro USB Cables, Black. I used the 3 foot iClever cable for the test and the cable that came with the phone with the LG charger. The bottom line is that this charger can get your Nexus 5* phone charged over 50% faster (up to around 80% charge) compared with a stock charger. * The new Nexus 5x phone Tech data has just come out. I expect it to be even faster with the stock charger. Based on charge rates from Google using their USB Type-C charger that comes with the phone you can expect an even 45% faster charge. But if you don't want to upgrade phones this iClever charger gives you a good bang for the buck. UPDATE Dec 5, 2015 I measured the idle energy consumption, that is when the charger is plugged into a live outlet but not charging the phone(s). The good news is that if it is using power it is so low I can not measure it. In other words I am getting a zero Watt reading using an Aeon Labs Smart Energy Switch. That means you can leave the charger plugged in all the time without wasting energy. Charging one Nexus 5 phone it was consuming 6.5 Watts. UPDATE March 18, 2017 Charge speed of Google Pixel phone with stock charger vs iClever BoostCube Conclusion: For all practical purposes, the charge times are similar. Expect approximately 1 hour and 35 to 40 minutes to charge the Pixel phone from 12 to 100%. NOTE: The % charge indicator on the Pixel phone does not have decimals. The Pixel has a 2,770 mAh battery. Stock Pixel Charger 12.5% to 100% 94 minutes total time Charge level was most likely around 12.4% when I started because it immediately changed to 13% (which can be expected when the charge level reaches 12.5% thus rounding the display up to 13%) Iclever 13 to 50% 29 minutes 13 to 60% 37,5 minutes 13 to 70% 47 minutes 13 to 80% 58,25 minutes 13 to 90% 70.25 minutes 13 to 100% 101 minutes Notice, it takes 5 minutes longer with the iClever charger than with the Google Pixel stock charger. Also notice the last 10% charge from 90 to 100% takes half an hour whereas a 10% increase earlier during the charge cycle takes "around" 10 minutes or thereabout for a 10% charge.

Update review from 09/05/2017. It is now 2/2/2018 and I’m proud to have purchased this item. At first when I received this item it worked great. After a month or so one of the ports didn’t charge. Customer service for I-clever is awesome. As I wrote out a review they took the time to reach out to me. They were quick to reply and as a consumer provided me with a replacement. I think this speaks greatly for the company. This has shifted my mind And I will continue buying from iclever, because they take the time to listen and reach it to their clients and assure them with products to reach 100% satisfaction. Thank you iclever for listening and reaching out to me. I greatly appreciate it.

This power adaptor wall-charger cube charges pretty fast. It reminds me of the iPod chargers of yesteryear, only it has 2 ports labeled 2.4A and boasts “Smart ID.” I already used it to charge my iPad Air and it charged it rather fast. It is called a travel charger but is not a travel bank charger, which is something different. It is called a travel charger because of it’s ability to fold and tuck it’s plug down so it is easier to pack up or store in your pocket. It’s dimensions are a 2 inch by 1 inch box with curved side edges and corners. There is a blue LED light that shines in the USB socket when there is nothing plugged into it. I was able to determine that the light cannot turn off and continuously shines even though there is something plugged into it. It also came in a nifty cardboard box with instructions and warranty card. In conclusion, this product has shown that it can successfully do what it was made to do, and I will see how long it is able to continue to do it’s job. I will return to update this review if I find anything faulty with the product over time.

The iClever USB wall adapter is top quality. You can tell when you first take it out of the package that it is well engineered and manufactured. I have several tablets and the low amp output of the average wall adapter won't charge these tablets as you need at least 2 amps for a reasonable charge. The iClever has two 2.4 amp ports so I can do 2 tablets or a tablet and iPhone at the same time and you get a faster charge on the iPhone than with a standard charger. So with two 2.4 amp ports, high quality, and a folding plug, you can't go wrong. I would definitely purchase another iClever product.

I ended buying two for the value it offers and the price for many devices. In regards : The cube is plastic and measures 2.08 x 2.08 x 1.12 inches and weighs 2.9 oz far much smaller than apple. Its possible fitting it small travel bag or gear bag but in pocket is bit difficult to fit. The design is minimalstic, yet has LED on USB ports which will indicate when is connected to powersource.Their USB ports are rated 2.4A which is the same as that of apple chargers. Since it can detect and iphone, ipad, android tablets and phones and adapt accordingly its power source, I tried with Iphone 6s plus and a android tablet nvida k1. It charged the iphone 6s plus in 45 minutes from 0 to 90% and I could even work after while the battery would not go down. On nvida k1 shield it charged to 100% in 50 minutes even with offical nvida k1 it would not charge that fast. I also used in conjunction with iPhone and android cable from Syncwire to pair it and definitely would recommend them together as it increases the fast charging further.

I have purchased two of these Dual USB travel iClever chargers. My first one I've been using for over 3 months, and I just bought a new one just for the reason of being so satisfied with my original that I wished to have an extra one, which I've been using for about a week now. I can honestly say that I have not had one complaint as of yet (will update if I do) with either charger. I almost always use this charger for my iPhone 5s, and every once in awhile other devices like cameras and headphone amplifiers and other miscellaneous technologies. I take it with me whenever I travel, and so far my experience has been a conclusive feeling of it being one of the most convenient and functional gadgets that I've had the pleasure of owning. It never gets very hot (the charger nor the phone), which is an issue I've experienced with other chargers, but is still able to charge my device(s) very quickly. The build quality is also amazing from my perspective; it feels very sturdy and has a light heft to it, though it is by no means cumbersome. The charger lights up a nice blue too when it is plugged in and being used, and overall has a sleek and aesthetically pleasing design. Other chargers I've purchased have usually felt overly light (in a negative way), consistently feeling like they were made of cheap materials; and that almost always turned out to be true given that they ended up only lasting a couple weeks to a month. As mentioned, it charges exceptionally quickly. After doing a full test run right out of the box, it ended up taking one hour and 42 minutes for it to charge my new iPhone 5s (which means it had full battery capacity). In the past, it has taken about two hours for my phone to charge that much with an original Apple charger, so I'm very happy with this one. Price wise, it is very affordable. They always seem to be on sale (when I bought it, I got it for a sale price of $12.99, remarkably less than the list price of $69.99, and less than half the price than the other listed 'price' of $29.99), and are worth every penny in my opinion. Also, along with its convenient price, one of the most amazing things about the charger is that it comes with a one-year warranty (warranty card included in pictures), which was one of the main reasons I got it in the first place; it made me feel like I was making a fool-proof purchase. I usually like to make sure to include any cons that any product has in my reviews, but for this particular product, I cannot think of any. I am 100% satisfied with it in every way, and I have racked my brains trying to remember or figure out some con about it that I've experienced to make sure I am being as objective as I can. Fortunately for me, and hopefully for anyone who has it or buys it, I only have praise for it. To conclude, I have included in the review pictures the contents of the package it came in, and also of it plugged into a socket. Thanks for taking the time to read any or all of this review; I hope it was able to assist in some way to some degree.

High quality with cheap price.

These things are amazing!! Half the price of the Apple 12V charger, double the output over two ports, and LED backlit at that. I have 3 of these things. They're so inexpensive you can just buy one for every outlet you charge near. Which I did. No issues whatsoever. It just works. And it charges my iPhone 7 Plus in like 60-75 minutes!! Simply amazing!! There seems to be some recent reviewers claiming issues, or failures after X amount of time. Like I said, I've had no issues, maybe they just got a bad run or something. Even still, for 10 bucks? If it dies in a year or two, I'll just buy another. For the charging speed, its WORTH it. Plus, just buy with Prime. It if dies within the first month, return it for a replacement for free. If it dies within the first two years, return it to iClever for a replacement. Don't think about it. Just buy it!!

This iClever BoostCube 4.8A 24W Dual USB Travel Wall Charger is everything you would want. It's compact size does not block the second outlet of a duplex receptacle. I have not noticed excessive heat from it while in use. I have this in a permanent location on the screened porch behind the couch. There are two 10ft usb cables attached to charge our phones, batteries, power packs, whatever we need. Reason being we pretty much live on the porch year round. If I have a need for a charger inside the house I will buy this one again.

Adapter arrived well packaged in a small box. Upon taking it out it of the package it had a comfortable weight to it and felt as if it was well made. When plugged into the wall both ports light up with a small blue light. I've charged a few items with it and while I don't have the instruments to measure the current it seems to charge on par with the single ~2 amp adapter that came with my Galaxy S5. Planning to use this as a travel adapter for when outlets are scarce, but will enjoy using it at home as well. Also, given it has two ports it is reasonably small, albeit not tiny.
