We've been using it for a couple of months now and it works great. We bought it to help with physical therapy, and the size and basic open tub layout works great. Works off 110V. Can run the heater/pump and bubbles simultaneously. Heats up to 104 F, which seems to be the highest recommended safe temp for hot tubs. Seems to control the temp within 2 degrees, so it will be 102-104 F when set at the max. Needed to buy a pH/Chlorine test kit, pH Up and pH Down (base and acid), chlorine, and 1" chlorine tablets. A spa this size seems to only need a capfull of chemical with each adjustment/treatment. We already had a thick extension cord. I also bought a clarifier, for when the water got a bit cloudy, which helps precipitate out the contaminates/dirt which can be skimmed out on the bubbles or just slowly filtered out running the pump. Also bought a 6 pack of Type VI filters (total of 12 filters). At startup, the spa takes probably a day to heat the cold water from a hose, 77 F, to the max 104 F. This pump/heater will go into a energy saving mode if the spa is not used for a day or two, which is good, but need to plan ahead if not used daily as it seems to allow the temp to fall to around 88 F. It seems to take several hours to recover back to 104 F (maybe 4-5 hours?, not sure as I will typically re-activate it mid-day and not check on it until we use it in the late evening). The tub seems to be made of a thick reinforced vinyl material. Definitely durable enough for long-term adult use. The spa wall is sturdy enough for several mid-sized persons to sit on. It comes with a bubble mat that is placed under the tub to provide padding (we also placed an exterior area rug underneath as well). The cover is nice and effectively maintains the spa temp up, made of inflatable vinyl which is inserted in a sturdy vinylized canvas cover that latches to the tub.

Was very unsure on ordering this but ended up doing it anyway and SOOOOOO glad I did. This tub is just what I needed to complete my patio/outdoor kickback spot on the weekends. Set up was super easy and quick and comes with everything needed for install. Love the touchscreen pump functions and that the cover comes with it. Heat and bubbles both work on mine at the same time so maybe they made improvements over time as some reviews stated otherwise. Heat was tricky to get working at first but there is a reset button on the pump and test button on plug. After I manually tripped both the heat kicked in and within 2-4 hours was extremly warm. Definitely one of my best unsure/happy I did buys!

I have had this now for a month. Directions are a little confusing, they are scattered throughout the various papers. If you sit down and read all the included paper work first, it will be much easier. For example, the filter is first used to inflate the tub. When I hooked it up, tons of air was coming out the sides of the fitting which made me think it was not correct. I finally read in 1 paper (tiny writing) it would do this. I used well water to fill it up, took 24 hours to reach 104 degrees. The instruction for the water heater is confusing, I just learned how to set the timer and have it figured out to set it 2 hours before I want to use it for it to reach 102 degrees (104 is too hot for me). The water is easy to maintain. I bought the Bromine Spa kit and filters and have had no troubles, The cover is easy to remove and replace and has great child proof safety latches. I'm so happy with this purchase, I have wanted one for many years.

We purchased the SaluSpa Palm Springs hot tub about a month ago. The description says six (6) person, but that would only work form smaller individuals all sitting with their legs crossed, "Indian style". I purchased this for me and my husband. I'm 5'2", and my husband is 5'9". It's great for the two of us to sit comfortably with our legs stretched out. Set up was very easy. No pump needed, because you are able to use the pump unit included to inflate the spa. We live in VA, and set the spa up in late January. This year we had a very mild winter, so temps didn't get as cold as they usually do, so we've enjoyed the spa this winter. The air is still holding strong, and no signs of the usual deflation I would expect from an inflatable product. My husband has used it at least 4-5 times a week, and he was the one who was hesitant to buy it in the first place! It's been used heavily for a month, during a mild winter in Virginia, and we are very impressed with the quality.

Only time will tell if this inflatable will hold up, but so far it is fabulous. It seems to be very well made and setup was easy. Note, the recommended inflation times for the spa and cover are not accurate. It doesn't take nearly as long as the directions state. I'm still trying to get the water chemicals adjusted. I put a little shock treatment into the water and used 1" chlorine tablets in the floating chlorinator. I put in two tablets and I probably should have only used one. It's registering very high in chlorine ppm. I'm adjusting the ph with baking soda and vinegar. We shall see. The bubbles are fantastic and soothing to tired muscles, and the heater is adequate for the size of spa. With the insulated cover, very little heat is lost when the pump and heater are turned off. There is no way this is a 6 person spa. For 2 people it is perfect, 4 people would be tight and you better know each other very well. The pump is very quite. I can barely hear it running. The filters are easy to clean. You just hose them off and stick them back in. I received setup instructions but no owner's manual. It's no problem really as you can easily download the manual from the internet. If you are thinking about a 3k to 8k standard spa, try this first. It may help you decide.

We received our spa On July 15th 2016 in about a week and were very happy with the ease of setup. Filled the spa from our water heater first then added cold water to complete the filling. Everything works as advertised. The only problem was the buckles for the cover. It seems that the incorrect buckle locking mechanism was installed at the factory. No matter how hard we tried, the buckles would not mate up. The lower buckle would not latch into the buckles on the cover. We contacted Amazon by email explaining the problem and were contacted by email the next day. amazon stated that they could not get new buckles for us, But would be happy to refund 20% of the purchase price so we could go get buckles that would latch together. We excepted the offer of the refund and found new buckles for the Spa on Amazon. Pros: Easy setup, watch the dvd. Pump is quiet, Blower not to much noise either. The construction of the spa is very good, feels sturdy. Bubble jets are actually better then what I anticipated, very relaxing without being to forceful. The heater works as advertised, and having the timer to set the time of day for it to come on is very convenient. Water stays warm all day even without running the heater. Cons: Wish the timer feature would work without the heat option to. The filters get dirty quickly so make sure you buy extra. I have washed ours out once already in five days trying to make them last longer. we did buy extras. Getting the chemical balance right is a pain, but we have it pretty close to what is required. Make sure that you maintain your chemical balance to keep your water clean! The cover is bulky and collects dirt particles on the underside when the spa is covered. We try to wipe down the inside of the cover whenever we take it off to keep it clean. Buckles for cover did not latch together. The pump I feel is a little weak for the filtration system as it should be capable of producing a little more suction at the filters to pull larger particles into the filter. Overall for the cost of this spa, the portability and ease of use. I would recommend it. Sure beats spending thousands of dollars on a higher end spa! I still gave it 5 stars even with the buckles not working on the cover. and a few other minor Issues. Everything else works as advertised. We really enjoy using it and relaxing at the end of the day. Wish we had bought one sooner!

I was a little sceptical about this product initially, priced around $400, I was concerned about the quality and features but after a winter and spring of use I can say that my wife and I have probably already got our money's worth of use out of it. Set-up was fairly quick (45 minutes) and basic although the instructions could be better. I utilized our hot water from the washing machine spigot to finish filling it up after partially filling with cold water first so we used it the first day. This unit provides great bubble action while soaking, Very therapeutic for as basic as the bubble ring around the bottom appears to be. I purchased cushioned UV resitant foam tiles to place under the tub because I wasn't sure if the provided mat would be sufficient and I recommend doing that for ultimate comfort because you actually sit on the floor of the tub when using it. I had an issue with the cover's inflatable bladder leaking air and deflating so I returned it for an exchange. The return process was cumbersome and they want you to actually cut out the part number and submit a picture of it before they'll process a replacement. I guess it's a trust issue with people trying to get extra replacement parts. I received the replacement in 3 days. I recommend using bromine for your water maintenance so you don't have the chlorine smell while soaking and keeping chemical levels right is fairly easy (you'll need bromine test strips) and a "floater" is included with the tub. The only drawback, as mentioned in other reviews, is that you must press one of the control buttons at least every 72 hours or the pump/heater turn themselves off and the tub will not be up to temp if you wait too long between use times. I have now drained and cleaned up the tub to put in storage for the summer because it's pretty hot here and we also have an in-ground pool. I saved the boxes from delivery and everything fit back in until I set it all back up this winter. Great/sturdy product and very reasonably priced for what it is. It has basic features but works very well so I highly recommend if you're looking for a good 4 person (it won't do 6 comfortably) hot tub.

I have had this since 2016 set up on my patio, it does take a while to heat up, but is fantastic for soaking my old bones. It takes minimal chemicals and hardly any upkeep. If you have arthritis I highly recommend this. It is noisy when the bubbles are on so I got a set of wireless waterproof headphones.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he treats it better than he treats his own children. It's not a fancy jet jacuzzi but all he really wanted was a big bathtub (he's a big guy) and this totally fit the bill for him. Every night before bed and on weekend mornings, I'd find him in his big bathtub on the back porch. When it started making growling noises a few weeks ago, I got panicked and called Bestway. They walked me through the warranty process (super easy: just sent them an email!), they approved my warranty claim the very next day and Fedexed out a brand new pump immediately. I haven't seen this good of customer service in decades! Hubby loves it even more now!

In a nutshell ... THIS THING IS AWESOME! I'd being thinking I wanted a hot tub and while setting it up I was sold. After I've used it for over three months I still think its awesome. Now bear in mind the following: 1. I got it for 295$ which was a screaming deal. I'd still say its worth it for 400$ 2. I've hadn't had any major issues with this unit. The only issue I had is the original filters the silicone was a bit cheap and pieces flaked off and started blocking the heater output port. This resulted in "flow errors". I fixed it by drilling out the output port vent holes to a much larger size and getting new filters. 3. I didn't have very high expectations (based on reading reviews) and have been pleasantly surprised. I would consider getting this seriously if the following are true: 1. You are thinking about getting a hot tub but aren't sure how often you'd use it. 2. You know you'd like a hot tub but are wondering what you really need (number jets, size etc.)? 3. You have are in a temperate climate (where you winters aren't super cold) and you have a pool and would like to extend your swimming season. 4. Have kids and want to give them a fun pool to play in.
