Excellent Keyboard Tray
Love it as a keyboard tray. I purchased the silver stand with the extra wide mouse tray. I use the stand as a keyboard tray so that I can stand while I work. I have a 27 inch monitor that has a significant tilt and I can comfortably stand, type, and view my monitor. To use the stand as a keyboard tray, I turn the stand backward so that the lip of the tray is facing the monitor. That way the keyboard does not slide off of the stand. I also put a slight slant on the tray that slopes downward toward the monitor. This makes for a very comfortable placement of my hands on the keyboard. The extra wide mouse tray is more than adequate for holding my trackpad or my magic mouse. The mouse tray can be made to be level while the keyboard tray is at a slant. Thus the trackpad and mouse do not slide off of the tray. You can force a small amount of up/down movement on the mouse tray due to a bending of the metal, but I never notice it while using the trackpad or magic mouse. The tray is on two legs. Anything on two legs will wobble. I never notice it wobbling while using it. The tray is on a desk mat. The tray does not slide on my mat. The tray comes with two fans. I would have bought one without fans (since I am using it as a keyboard tray) if they had one. The tray is about 16.5 inches wide. My keyboard is about 16.75 wide. If they made a stand for a keyboard I would suggest making it 19.5 inches wide. That is because my left hand placement on the keyboard is close to the edge of the tray. It would be nice to have a little more room. While taking it out of the box and setting it up I found that finding the right position for legs was a bit of a mind teaser. But looking at the instructions I was able to maneuver the legs to just the right position after a few minutes of trial and error. The leg joints have a round degree marker to make it is easy to remember how to set them should they ever be refolded and stored. To accommodate the slant that I need for the tray my keyboard leg settings are 30 degrees (top joint), 45 degrees (middle joint), and 30 degrees (lower joint). When I am not using the tray I usually just set it aside on the floor rather than retract the legs. I love this device. I had been looking at $500.00 desk-top risers. I hated the idea of cramped and reduced desk space and then adjusting the cords to elevate my monitors. This is $450.00 cheaper and for me, I think it does a much better job. I am glad that my 27 inch monitor tilts to make the viewing better than it would have been if I had bought a desk riser. This might work for you too if you have a tilting monitor or if you have a convenient way to elevate your monitor.

The laptop stand you didn’t know you needed
I set out to purchase something to elevate my laptop so that I am not always looking down putting stress on my neck and reversing all the gains I am making in regaining the curvature in my neck with my chiropractor. I found this one and decided to purchase one in Like New condition for slightly less cost. It is adjustable in 15 degree increments on three different axis, allowing me to adjust exactly how I need it to be ( 75, 45, 15 degrees top to bottom) and am able to place my old school 2010 MacBook Air on the stand, plug in the cooling fan and even have room to set my iPhone 7+ right next to it vertically. I like having the room underneath it as well for papers and such. For now it stays on the desk but if I want to move to the couch or bed I can adjust accordingly which is great. This is perfect!! Great product! Glad I bought it!!

Awesome. Perfect portable and modular desk
Absolutely love this. I use it every day, all day. It's great for working on your bed, the couch, as a standing desk (on top of a table) - whatever you think of, it works for. I don't use a mouse so the stand on the side is excellent for my phone. It's slippery (ie great for a mouse) so I put a piece of plastic wrap around it and that's perfect for adding a little friction and keeping my phone in place (see pic). As per other reviews, the pieces of plastic included to keep your mouse in place are too loose, but there's small black rubbery stickers included that would work great under them to keep them in place. Great addition by the company to fix this issue! The fan is quiet and functional, keeping my laptop cool when it starts to overheat - which is a lot less often now that I work with this stand all the time (usually with the fan off) Included is also a cheat sheet (see pic) for popular angles and set ups for the stand and that was awesome for getting the hang of how the stand works. Definitely recommend following those for a couple set ups until you feel comfortable with it. Overall, amazing purchase. So happy with it - can already tell it's going to extend the life of my laptop from lack of continuous overheating, and helps make working from home a little better.

Amazingly Versatile Laptop\keyboard Desk- Make your own Sit-Stand Workstation inexpensively
I'm a Network\Windows System Admin so I work from home remotely most days. At the office I setup an Ergotron Sit\Stand workstation which I wanted to replicate at home. Professional sit-stand workstations are very expensive but this product allows me to inexpensively create a standing desk which is easily stored when not in use. The build quality is very good. All components are precisely machined aluminum, the joints are high impact plastic. The buttons to control the leg angles are very sturdy and give a satisfying click when depressed. The fans are very nice for cooling a laptop. I primarily use it as an elevated desktop for my keyboard and mouse so I don't use the fans. The whole thing fits on the slide out keyboard drawer of my desk and the height is perfect. I am very happy with this purchase and would gladly recommend this product and vendor to anyone looking for a portable, flexible high quality desk.

Great Lap Desk!
I love this! I've been working on my laptop from my bed for years now and have neck and arm issues because of the angle and looking down. I've been using this for several weeks, and it really helps my neck stay in a more neutral position, which results in less strain. It's very sturdy. You can set it to the side and not worry about it overheating or tipping over when you take a break. Plus, there is a nice USB fan that is easy to use that's built in. Easy to adjust. I wish I had found this YEARS AGO! I use a variation of one of the recommended settings, and it's perfect for me!

Finally! One That Actually Works.
I have tried several laptop stands for working in bed. One was a fancy bamboo model I ordered from Amazon. It looked great but I just couldn't get it into a comfortable working position. This one is perfect! There are literally hundreds of possible positions and you can move the mouse tray to various locations. If I could improve anything, it would be to put a small lip around the mouse tray (I glued a mouse pad to it - but the mouse can still slide off) - and make the laptop tray lip a bit taller as my HP 17" laptop is angled on the front and has a rather large "open release" button there also. As other reviewers have noted, The legs and ratchets are plastic so not the sturdiest stand in the world - but works fine once you get it positioned.

Great price for the quality
It has taken a bit of time to get my preferred leg positions figured out, but i am loving this thing! Great price for the quality. I love that I can adjust the legs differently so I can balance it on my weird chair/leg rest space with uneven surfaces, or on my bed. I can use it with my laptop or with my kindle. It has been great for reducing unnecessary strain on my neck. The moveable mouse tray is also a great little addition and surprisingly stable and large enough to use despite looking a little small. The whole thing is really a lot more stable than I expected! I'm really really happy with this purchase!

I like to use on bed before going to sleep.
I waited for this product for long time. Finally someone made it exactly the way I dreamed about it. Quality material used and well designed.

best thing ever for a pregnant belly!
i bought this when my belly was starting to get bigger and resting my laptop on it was uncomfortable, i also figured that it wasn't great to have it directly on there for a number of reasons. anyway it is perfect. sturdier than i feared it would be, since the joints are made of plastic, and it's super adjustable. it takes a bit of attention to make it level, but i like that it has so many options for adjustment, because sometimes the surface i'm on isn't totally flat, (especially as i get bigger and need more propping up!) and so having one leg offset from the other is actually preferable. also the fan is great for cooling it down and keeping the internal fan from running. only thing is you need to be careful if you set it down with the laptop on top and the platform isn't level with the surface it's on, because it will tip over.

A cheaper fix than a $400 convertible desk
I've wanted a convertible standing desk for a while but realistically can neither afford one nor do I have space for one. I got this hoping it would encourage me not to sit for so long while working, and it does. There are three joints that are super-adjustable so the trick is getting it exactly where you're comfortable with it, where your wrists are still straight if you're typing while standing. When I want a break, I put my laptop underneath it and sit for a while before standing again, though my spouse walked in on that arrangement once and quipped: "... I don't think you're using that right." I had my doubts about the mouse-pad extension's size, but it works great for me with my wireless mouse. Short version: For the price I paid ($30 or so), it encourages me to not sit all day, and for that, it's definitely worth it.
