I LOVE this lamp
I LOVE this lamp. I've had this lamp for over a year and I use it every single day. It sits on my desk, and is my main source of light. It's very easy to turn off and on, because there is a cover over the turn switch, it doesn't hurt your fingers or become difficult to turn on and off. The design and color is very modern, and looks very good with exposed wood and other modern decor. I love how adjustable it is, making it perfect for doing homework or art projects. Overall, it is a very study product that I have had absolutely no trouble with in the past year or so.

Excellent Quality and weight. I love them
They are perfect, easy to assemble and are easy to adjust. I love them, I use them with bulbs to grow my fiddle leaf fig plants. I love the weighted bottom its really perfect. I'm buying another one for the African violets and orchids.

Great Larger Sized Desk Lamp
I purchased this lamp for my daughter's room. It is the perfect shade of pink for her room. The lamp was easy to assemble. The only thing I am not sure about is it's size. It is much larger than her previous desk lamp. Overall we are very pleased but please take note that this desk lamp is bigger than a traditional desk lamp.

Works for the reason we bought it
This was purchased as an additional light for my elderly Papa with Alzheimers to use for better viewing while doing puzzles. It stays upright where it is placed and moves decently for where he needs the most light while working.

Good light. Needs slight modification to fully articulate.
Minus a star because the lower joint does not move. See photo. In retrospect it should have been pretty clear that it does not move based on close examination of the pictures. But then why the springs on the lower joint? If all 3 joints were articulating then this would be a solid 5 stars. All in all this is not a bad light, especially for the price. Still, I'd like to find one just like it that is fully articulating. EDIT: Feb 2018 Up to 5 stars. After reading several reviews of this light on other websites, I discovered that others had gotten the lower joint to move simply by removing two screws. See photo. I suspect the manufacturer added these locking screws as a design "improvement" after several reports of the lamp tipping over. The new LED bulbs are much heavier that the old filament bulbs, and the lamp will tip over with even a modest movement of the lower arm. If you do remove the locking screws, test the lamp stability by giving it the wiggle test (push it slightly and see if the tendency is to return or tip over).

Good inexpensive desk lamp - I own three
I own three of these lamps. Two for my drawing desk, ordered those in 2017, and one for my computer area, purchased that one this year. Hard to beat this lamp at the price point. You have to remove a couple of screws to allow the lamp the move up and down and you can remove the base set screw, with plastic handle, to allow the lamp to rotate 360 - though I would caution swinging it around 180 from the original position and leaving it as it will be top heavy (swing the base around for safety). Anyway after two years no issues with the lamps and am going to buy a rose colored one for my daughter's desk. I highly recommend.

Good materials, solid feel, stays exactly where I want it. Quality at a good price.
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials, ease of assembly, and the overall appearance. At this price, I knew I was rolling the dice and might get something very wobbly or with a switch that only worked if you fiddled with it, or springs that would collapse. None of the above. The base is heavy enough to keep it quite stable on my desk, the assembly took all of two minutes. I put a 60-watt-equivalent LED bulb in it, and it gives my office a much warmer, pleasant glow than the florescent bulbs inflicted on us by the property manager. I almost went with the clamp base, but I'm glad I went with the "heavy" base - it allows a lot more flexibility in placement.

Great lamp
These are great lamps. Heavy base and arm and cone adjustable at all angles. The only iffy part for me is that the cone is a bit shallow and I had bought these to help with an indoor light studio but my bulbs stuck out - normal sized bulbs do not stick out so I just use it as my desk lamp and it’s perfect. Sometimes the middle arm fulcrum slumps but I just tighten it a tad and move on.

Nice size, good value, and versatile.
The size of the bulb hood or shroud is good, as it is big enough to hold a BR30 bulb. The bottom armature is nonfunctional until you remove a screw near its base. ( No instructions provided. ) The screws and nuts are matching black (not silver), which I appreciated.

It's a lamp, period.
very happy with the product based on price, however it is more of a lightweight, functioning 'replica' of the heavier models from decades past . . . best advice is to 'set it and forget it', because the tightening knobs, springs, and various stress points are only going to take so much strain for any type of repeated adjustments or oddly cantilevered acrobatics etc. . . . think of it as a really nice lamp for the money, and you'll be quite pleased, just don't expect miracles . . .
