My friends. I'm no newcomer to the wonders of epoxy, nay - it is a marvelously versatile substance indeed. But alas, quality varies from company to company. Friends I come here now to say that TotalBoat is top quality. Never have I used an epoxy that lender to such a clear, durable surface. Bubbles, through careful preparation, appeared not on my piece. I was amazed. Jamestown Distributors, you've earned a lifelong customer.

I used this to finish a metal countertop in a house that I’m getting ready to put on the marker here in the Phoenix area. The finished countertop looks amazing, my wife even commented that “I would have done something more neutral that would appeal to a broader market, but this turned out looking bad ass” end of quote. I jumped in head first on this project having never used anything like this I didn’t bother myself with reading any of the instructions or paying any attention to coverage area recommendations. I did watch a you tube video titled How to Apply Clear TableTop Epoxy by TotalBoat narrated by a guy that sounds like he would be fun to party with. Extremely helpful video make sure that you do all your research prior to starting your project and just go for it.

I've never used table top epoxy before but found this product to work extremely well and when I did have a question they promptly replied. I have little skill with this kind of thing so I feel confident saying, if I can do it anyone can. My dresser top came out looking like something off a showroom floor. This is a great product. I will definitely use it on future projects.

This stuff is awesome. Use a small heat gun to quickly pop any bubbles. We used this for a boat table with a map, compass, micrometer, anchor trinket, and a silver dollar 'trapped' in the clear epoxy. One tip: order extra. A whole gallon did not cover the galley table more than a quarter inch. I wish I had bought two gallons because you can recoat between four to eight hours without any prep or sanding. Highly recommend!

I usually use Parks SuperGlaze from HomeDepot (I have a least mixed 10 Gal of that stuff) and wanted to try something else. This kit included everything I was looking for UV resistant, 1:1 ratio mix, Gallon kit, Self healing/leveling ... I tried Famowood (mostly sold at Lowe's) with a really bad experience. It dried up streaky and sticky, some parts didn't dry at all despite a thorough mix. TotalBoat TableTop Epoxy is a little harder in the mixture (at first), but once thoroughly mixed just a liquid as Parks SuperGlaze. The work is a little shorter which works in my favor. I can re-coat after 8hours instead of the 24hours with Parks. Also, TotalBoat Table Top Epoxy is not as "runny" on verticals and edges. It dried super hard, I love the out come ... check out some of my pieces "Old Brooklyn Lumber" on fb/IG.

This was my first time using resin, so I was a little in over my head, even after extensive research. I really liked the 1:1 ratio versus a more complicated version where drops of a catalyst are involved. I wish I had known about bubbles! I also wish I had been warned about mixing too fast, which creates even more bubbles. After reading up on how to remove bubbles and what creates bubbles, I decided to head out and buy a heat gun for my remaining layers. Considering this was my first time using resin, I was happy with the end result. I also didn't know about lint, which ended up at the top layer. I didn't want to deal with sanding and finding a controlled environment that would be lint-free because it seemed impossible in my situation. Neither the lint or the bubbles was anyone's fault but mine, so I'm giving it 5 out of 5 stars!

My project turned out great, because of help from the vendor after I messed it up! This product is very temperature sensitive and when I did my first coat in a room that was ~10 degrees too cold, it didn't mix correctly so it didn't set (my fault for not taking the directions very seriously). After consulting with Jamestown Distributors via their online forum, I followed their instructions, salvaged the project and I LOVE the results. Don't mix this stuff when the product is cold, in a cold room and your project should turn out perfect from the start. It was SO easy to work with once I had everything at 75 degrees.

Worked great on table top. It looks clear and wet at all times that people avoid touching it. Unless you use up the entire content, this 1:1 ratio is so much easier to mix smaller amount than other brands that require a different ratio. I did one coat for 2 tables of 6 sq ft using a gallon.

I have used several different brands of epoxy resin clear coats in the past year. Some were mediocre, most were good. This product was great. Hands down the highest quality resin I have used. The final product looked like a perfect layer of glass. Will use again!!

I used this on a tree table . Mixed with silver metallic pigment to highlight the and fill chainsaw cuts and some serious voids and natural cracks. Worked and looked great. I've already referred ur company to other wood working friends I have
