Skeptical At First, But Now A True Believer

My husband has always used the hand chopper by Pampered Chef in which you put the food on a cutting surface and then put the dome over the food and push down on the handle to loudly chop the food. Due to the force used on this type of chopper, it breaks over time. He was more than skeptical when he received this new Briefton Chopper from me. But he tried it on 4 cloves of garlic and was very happy with the results. I was very happy with the quite sound of the chopping. It cleans easily, but watch out the blades are really sharp, handle them like sharp knives. I will see if I can get some pictures to show you the chopping results in the near future.

I love, love, love this food chopper! It's amazing! It is super quick, easy and effortless to chop things! I was happy with my old chopper, the pound-down-on-the handle type; but it developed a few cracks and so I needed to get a new chopper before all the Thanksgiving and Christmas cooking. I was planning to get the same type of chopper, but while searching on Amazon the Briefton Chopper caught my eye with it's rave reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Wow!!! It is far superior to the other chopper. I'm in my 60's - how did I get so far in life without knowing about this chopper?!!! It's the best!!!

Best Kitchen Gadget Ever

This is the handiest gadget in the kitchen and believe me, I have them all, cluttering up the cabinets. If you hate dragging out your electric food processor every time you want to chop an onion or make salsa, this is for you! BEWARE!! The blades are razor sharp so be extra careful when using and cleaning. I make chop salads in seconds; you can load it up with your favorite veggies and pull the cord 8 or 10 times and you're done. I'm getting a spare for me and one for all my friends for Christmas.

Possibly the best food chopper EVER.

Such an incredibly useful little device! I've used a number of similar products in the past and it seems like there are always big pieces that get caught on the lid or low enough in the bowl that the blades never really chop them down. That simply doesn't happen with the Brieftons unit! I think this is because they have these little shields that attach above and below the blade to keep all the big bits right where the need to be to get diced. And in 2-3 pulls, this monster has your food into well-diced little tiny bits. TL;DR Smaller than some similar products, but a truly awesome kitchen gadget. If you're considering buying one, IT"S WORTH IT.

This gadget really works amazing. So impressed!!!

Just tried this item out for the first time this evening and I must say that I am greatly impressed!!! Chopped up onions, green peppers, green onions, celery and even fresh parsley leaves. Does an excellent job of chopping everything into uniform sized pieces and I'm still shocked that it was able to do that with the parsley leaves but it did. Cleanup is a snap and the pull cord and recoil system seem solid so this should last a long time. Oh my how I wish that I would of had this little helper when making salsa a couple months ago. Just buy it already and then buy more for your friends as gifts !

Most useful product ever!!!

I love, love, love this!!! And just this last weekend I had a party and some one saw it in my counter and asked what it was...I chopped an onion for them, showing how you control how much the onion is cut and how it doesn't turn it to mush the way your food processor does. They all took a photo of the box because they wanted to go home and order one. Even more amazing, don't we all love to take the ribs out of celery prior to chopping it up. I chopped celery this morning without removing the strings in it and it was awesome. Making "old fashioned cornbread dressing" is a snap now that I do not have to hand chop 2 cups of onions and 4 cups of celery....And everyone, I never write reviews but this is one of the most useful products I have ever purchased.

A Perfect Chopper for All Recipes

This food chopper is a gem! I have gone through multiple food choppers in the last few months. We tried a ninja processor which ended up pureeing everything, a vidalia chop wizard which broke at the joints, and finally this. This one is the winner! It is so easy to use and you can get as large or small pieces as you want. I have so far chopped the following things: -onions -peppers -chicken -cashews -tomatoes Everything was perfectly chopped to my liking!

An EXELLENT Food Chopper!

This thing has been a HUGE hit! Daily use for almost a year and it still works like new. Super easy to use, super easy to clean. But the real quality of this thing shows when chopping. It chops VERY evenly. You want coarse? It's ALL coarse. You want fine? It's ALL fine. You might only need to pull the handle twice to be thoroughly done. It's MUCH quicker than expected. And it works with small quantities for single servings just as well as when it's full. An unexpected benefit is the speed of the whole operation. With nothing to plug in, a few pulls of the handle, a quick clean, and you're done. Even when mixing multiple dishes, this thing is back in the cabinet within minutes. It's really an excellent little kitchen tool!
