I'm not a sewer. I'm a 40yr old family man. Looking through my closet I have alot of clothes but trends come and go. I decided to start going to a talor. It was becoming expensive. Now I can do the stuff I was paying for myself; plus more. I've more than made my money back on this little thing. I spent less than $30 on it, and I've already saved hundreds.

This machine was useful, basic and practic to handle. I recommend it, if you want an easy way to fix some of your clothes.

I am 20 years old and I have never owned a sewing machine before. Heck I've never sewn a button on a shirt before. On a whim, I decided to make a t-shirt quilt. Not a little one, a full grown twin size quilt. Fluffy middle part and all. My petty self did not want to buy an expensive sewing machine that I would never use again because let's face it, I didn't think I would even finish this project. Well, I went for it, and by golly, there is a full grown T shirt quilt, fluffy middle part and all on the bed next to me. All done with this tiny little sewing machine. Let me tell you, this cheap thing is a BEAST. First thing my dumb self did when I took it out of the box was try to use it and break the thread. My boyfriend and I spent three hours trying to get it all set up again, did it horribly incorrectly, were very confident, tried to use it, and somehow by the grace of god we didn't break it. Which would have been ok because it was only like $25. So anyway we watched a YouTube video on it (highly recommend), got it right (which seemed like a miracle) and away I went. In my two day break from nursing school I had interfaced, cut, and sewn together 30 T shirts that we're wasting space in my drawer. I didn't even know what interfacing was before last week. This puppy was just jammin through like four layers at times with no problem at all. I had it on the floor and when the quilt got really heavy this bad boy would drag itself across the floor to sew my crooked seams for me. I know you experienced sewing people are cringing at this review, but if you know absolutely nothing about sewing and decide to undertake an enormous project out of nowhere without spending a lot of money, but this little toy-looking sewing machine.

Great sewing machine for a first time sewer. Compact, sturdy, easy to transport, and very good looking. This sewing machine has a bobbin, which means that it is not a toy. The thread will not come undone. It has the minimum amount of settings, so it is not overwhelming for a first time sewer who is trying to learn. The bobbins already have thread wound on them, too ! It's ready for your first project.

Exactly what I was looking for. Great quality and quick delivery

I bought this for my 6-year-old granddaughter and she loves it. Easy for her to use and safe! I have even used it to sew some simple things of my own and it works great! Thinking about getting one for myself. Just has a straight stitch, but it’s easier and faster than hauling my big one out.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. It is very cool and comes with thread. We have never used a sewing machine before. We just followed the instruction and it was really easy for us to begin our first sewing work. The work by this handy machine is really great! She is very excited about the sewing now and this is really a perfect toy for her.

Wow, I did not expect to get a functional sewing machine for this price but here it is working fantastically for me. I do not expect it to be a workhorse going through thicker material but for tailoring my own tops it has done a good job. It is small enough to fit on my little bistro table so I can work without needing much space snd came with a foot pedal and power adapter plus a threading tool. A few more needles, and some extra metal spools. Also came threaded which was very convenient.

I am happy with this little thing. It's stable, but doesn't look like a very durable object. Maybe it won't last and is not good for bigger projects, but I am less than a beginner. Straight out of the box, I had to watch a few videos for this model on how to thread it. The instructions are not very good or maybe it's the type of thing you need to see, rather than read about if you have zero experience. I managed to create a little blouse as practice with my first try. The stitches were good. It's only a straight stitch, and you need to tie it manually at the ends. It's pretty loud. The pedal is very small, but I actually managed to use it with my foot, not with my hand. It's a small machine, not bigger than what I imagined. Portable indeed. I think it works well. I managed to sew the different parts of the blouse continuously, without any thread breaking. But while I was testing it, the thread broke a few times - I think because of my fault, I wasn't yet clear on how to thread it. Has two speeds, but the high speed is not much faster than the low speed. It has a mode where you can use it without pressing a pedal - just turn on and it will sew continuously until you press off. I didn't use this mode because I was not confident enough. Overall satisfied with this very first try at sewing something on my own at home. It's got a light and a tiny thread cutter. It comes with 2 bobbins of white thread on it, one extra white and one extra black bobbin, and two empty bobbins for your own colors. For a small portable model, it looks very practical. I am keeping it as a portable back-up and getting a more advanced, not portable model for beginners. A new hobby is born!

Wow, for the size it works like a dream! I have completed a couple of projects without a hitch. It is so easy to use and so nice to store.
