This is a great pie!

That pie was so good, taste like home made.

Read the reviews. Tried it. I thought it tasted great. Apples not mushy. Really nice as a leftover. Lasted several days.

Dairy-free and egg-free.. 'accidentally vegan' apple pie!

got for 25 cents cant beat

Wow! Okay, so Amazon Fresh had these pies on sale for 25 cents (yes, you read correctly, they were a quarter), so I figured that other than freezer space, I had nothing to lose. I read the other complaints about crust burning too quickly so I ignored the baking instructions, left it out for a few minutes then baked for 30 minutes at 275, then 25 minutes at 350 and 15 minutes at 400. Baked perfectly with a golden brown crust and no burning issues. I'm not a pie person but this pie is really tasty, I'm afraid to read the nutrition panel so I've decided to ignore it and simply enjoy the pie. It's not too sweet, which Sara Lee products have a tendency to be. The crust is flaky, the apples are crisp and the filling is gooey...this really is a wonderful dessert. Sara Lee might just have converted me to a pie person. I spent a single dollar buying 4 pies, thinking that I'd be giving most if not all away. But now I've decided to keep them all. That's how good they are. Well done, Sara Lee. Well done.

Delicious for a box pie. Great crust
