Since i was little we had a lot of respect for pressure cookers.in two occasions they blew up in my mom's house and it rain black beans. That's why i never got one before. I grew a pair and order this pressure cooker , got to confess i was afraid of using it but i did and oh boy oh boy I've been missing out and wasting my time in the kitchen. This thing is amazing . it cooks black beans in 10 min . baby back ribs in 15 min .pork in 15 min. chick peas in 8 min. Rice in 5 min. I feel very secure using it as long as you follow the instructions you'll be fine . it has two settings 10psi and 15 psi . also has 3 security features the lids locks in place and does not open until all the pressure is released also the security valve and the pressure release/selector valve . it feels well made and long lasting . i order the 4 qt model i think is enough for a family of 3 to 4 . i really love this thing .

Its sturdy and durable, been using it for more than a year now and no problems so far. Its heavy and does not give in to heat at the bottom (does not get wobbly). we cook with it at least 3 times a week daily and its been sturdier than any aluminum ones i have used in the past

Great pan. The design has several fail-safe features that make me feel safe running a pressure steam vessel. It took me some practice to align the lid quickly as it only fits in one position, which is normal for a pressure cooker but not what I am used to.

Performance is great. Just cooked some of the best corned beef and cabbage I have ever made, in just over an hour. The lid, gasket, and valve are real easy to disassemble and clean. The bottom of the pot is a bit more difficult to get clean. I recommend avoiding anything that contains sugars as they will stick to the bottom of the pot. Boiling water and white vinegar helps to loosen everything up. Even with the cleanup, I still love to use it. So simple and quite the time saver.

I remember my mom using her old fashioned pressure cooker several time a week when she needed to get a meal on the table at a reasonable hour. All the steam and that little weight hissing on top made me wary of being around it. It seemed like a bomb ready to go off. I've gotten over that finally and I could not be happier. This cooker is very easy to use. My first meal was a 2.5 chuck roast with carrots, onions and potatoes. From refrigerator to table the perfectly cooked roast took about an hour and 15 minutes. All the flavors of the vegetables and seasonings permeated the meat giving it a wonderful flavor. No more getting up at the crack of dawn to load up the crock pot!

I had a 6 quart model but I found it to be just a bit too small quite often, this one is big enough for any family dinner. Good quality, easy to clean and simple to use.

This pressure cooker does an EXCELLENT job of cooking even the toughest of cuts. Everything I have made in it has come out tender and juicy. The lid gasket is durable and the locking mechanisms work well. I've used the bottom by itself for cooking soups and have even done some deep frying. The stainless does discolor some but that is to be expected.

Awesome product. Received it, prepped it and cooked a meal. My grandmother and my mom used them to cook and can as far back as I can remember. I inherited my grandmother's then my mom's. They're between 70 and 50 years old and parts were hard to find and expensive. I did three chicken breasts, six cups of fresh green beans and five baby red potatoes in about ten minutes. I like the heavy clad bottom that works on my glass top stove.

Solid, efficient and useful. Cooks a chicken in about 30 minutes, but be careful that it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. My first bird did, and came out "smoked!"

Use this ALL the time! A fabulous pressure cooker! I had to youtube people using it though, the instructions just don't tell you enough. There is a learning curve but it has changed my cooking and variety of meals a lot. Probably my favorite kitchen tool, have been using it for maybe 4 months. When the red indicator comes on that it's under pressure it's not actually high or low pressure. You have to wait until it's whistling air out before you turn the heat down. That was something I wish the booklet told me! Had a lot of undercooked food at first.
