Great blaster
Just arrived today and I'm very impressed with it. I've fired about 50 darts with it and it's performance is quite impressive. I'm getting consistent distances of around 18m indoors with reasonable accuracy (it's only a dart blaster after all). The flipping mechanism is excellent in it's operation and simple to engage. The priming action is as straight forward as the good ole Strongarm. My 7yo son has no problem with it. It's a fairly big blaster for a "pistol" so it might not suit the hands of small children, however it's very comfortable for adult hands. With it's 12 dart capacity it would make a worthy choice as a primary weapon in a Nerf war, and it also supports slamfire. In short, grab it, it's great.

The math is simple. More darts = more fun!
Clearly someone decided that the only thing that could make a Strongarm Blaster better, would be if it were TWO Strongarm Blasters. And they weren't wrong. The flipping mechanism takes a little getting used to - I kept jamming mine when I first tried it - but once you get the hang of it, this gun is a force to be reckoned with. Oh no, I'm out of ammo! Lucky for me I have all these extra darts in this extra chamber here! The bottom drum spins fairly freely, so I make a habit of grabbing darts off the ground as I run around, and sticking them in there. When someone else has to stop and reload, you'll still have extra darts to shoot them with. It will rapid-fire just like the Strongarm - hold the trigger, and keep pulling the Slam Fire slide to fill the air with darts. Then, once that drum is empty, flip to the full one and make a tactical retreat. Whistler darts make this even more enjoyable.

Excellent blaster
So far so good. The boys and I have played with this little number multiple times with no issues. Darts cycle as appropriate, fires rapidly, slamfire works like a champ, cylinders flip as appropriate when 2nd trigger is pulled. It is a favorite among my boys because of the capacity and velocity of darts. Boys are 7, 9, and 10. It's a little cumbersome for my 7 yr old but I'll have to get another one for my other two lads to use to balance the playing field of our battles :)

MAMA'S GUN!
My son has sleepovers almost every weekend. I can expect anywhere from 3-5 extra boys at my house at any given time. We have MANY Nerf guns, but this bad boy is the one MOMMY has locked & loaded when it's wartime! I bought multiple packages of the darts (100 per pack) here on Amazon for next to nothing. Sure, I find darts almost daily. But you know, it's worth it! :)

25 Year Nerf Veteran Approved - Great capacity, distance & accuracy
This gun is so great! It holds a ton of ammo for its size. 12! It also packs a ton of power and shoots quite far. It's pretty dang accurate too up to about 12'. I can sharp shoot action figures off the bannister with my son no problem. Also the flipping action of the double barrels has an extremely satisfying "thwunk" to it. Great fun for the price! Get it!

The Strongarm design gets a huge improvement
This thing is sheer awesome. I bought it to replace an old Strongarm that had begun to wear out, and am thrilled with my purchase. I don't care much about the zombie theme, but I do like the overall fit and finish and design of the gun. It's a bit heavier than I would have expected, but frankly I kind of like that—it gives me some reassurance that it won't fall apart in my hands. The included darts fit perfectly into the barrels of the gun, ensuring that all the pressure is put to use propelling the dart forward. Both triggers (shooting and barrel-swapping) have excellent response, and the barrel-swapping trigger is in just the right spot so as to not get in the way but still be quickly accessible when the need arises. Reloading is different than the Strongarm, and I prefer it as it seems simpler. No longer do you have to slide the barrel out to reload; now, it's a simple matter of rotating the bottom (inactive) barrel to line up the dart with the opening, and Bob's your uncle. Much easier and much faster. I liked my Strongarm quite a bit, but I think I've now got a new favorite office weapon!

Intimidating yet highly practical rapid slam-fire blaster with dual 6-round drums
I bought this to defend myself during spontaneous Nerf wars that break out occasionally in my office. The FlipFury immediately intimidates your opponents--or, in my case, coworkers--and for good reason: it has the capacity to keep raining darts on them while they scramble to reload. Of course, once you have a blaster like this, you can't just use it in self-defense. Slam-fire is faster than most of the motorized guns in my office, and it's great being able to work through 6 rounds in one drum while scavenging for ammo and reloading the other drum. It may be partly due to the brand new darts that came with it, but everyone else seems to be rather amazed at how far and straight it shoots.

A brilliant idea
Somebody at the Nerf factory is thinking up really cool ideas, because this is a really clever design. It works well, is easy to load, and shoots nicely. It's a bit front-heavy and odd-looking, but still a fun gun! You do have to pay attention, counting your shots or looking at the gun to know when to flip to the other barrel, which requires a little bit more attentiveness than some other guns. But when you flip it, it is a really cool moment. That "flip" just looks and feels snazzy.

Low Cost, High Capacity Blaster.
I bought 2 of these and 2 Nerf Strongarms for a backyard battle for 4 adults. They basically function the same except that the Flip Fury holds 12 darts instead of 6 and seems to fire its darts slightly harder. Key features: The 12 dart capacity is I think the highest for a Nerf blaster in its price range. Since it has two rotating cylinders to hold darts, the top one is always ready to fire while you can load darts into the other cylinder. This means you are usually able to defend yourself while reloading without carrying a second blaster. The mechanical features function smoothly and it is easy to quickly change (flip) cylinders. The blaster does feel a little front heavy so may be more difficult for younger users.

May the odds forever be in your favor!
Nerf wars are a regular in our house and this gun is an amazing addition to our collection! It is easy to load and switch between the cartridges with the click of a trigger. I must say I am pretty amazed by the double cartridge and the ease and quickness of when they switch. Its aim is pretty accurate. It is also pretty powerful. It can shoot across our whole house. The hassle free packaging is a definite plus! No crazy wires or zip ties that would need cut. This makes it great to just give the box to child and let them have the joy of opening it by themselves.
