Great product but over priced.

These are an exceptional product. They are very easy to install and work great at keeping the cords would up. I think they are priced a little high for a simple piece of plastic though. At a lower price I would buy them for my whole house instead of just the main kid rooms and living room. I feel like I could cut it out of cardboard and have the same effect. At least these look nice.

Super Easy to Use and No Installation

When I ordered these I thought I would have to screw it to the wall and then wrap the cord around it. But no! It's a nice design how you just wrap it on the cord and it just stays on the cord. Sturdy little pieces too.

Perfect for thick cords!

These are perfect! I had bought other cord winders and the blinds in my front room are large and has 6 cords total that pull the blinds up. The other winders were too small and popped off. This is great bc I can still use the cords while the winder is on. I use 2 on the large front window bc there's so much length and thickness and have no issues at all. I wind the cords in a figure 8 shape. On my other blinds (4 cords) it only takes 1. I'm super glad I bought these bc my 25 month old plays with cords. And the cords are so long otherwise he could easily get wrap up in one. And God forbid he get one wrapped around his neck. Buy these! Don't look at end others! You don't have to make holes in the wall and you can still use the blinds whIle in use!

Keeps blind cords always from small kids

As with pretty much every other review, I agree that for two of these, it’s pretty pricey. But it does what it supposed to do, which is keep the cords away from kids. It’s adjustable to whatever length you want the cord. It doesn’t look that bad. And you don’t have to drill holes into your sheet rock or walls to install a cleat. The negative is when you want to move your blinds up and down, you have to take off this cord winder, and then adjust your blinds, then use the product again.

Perfect for protecting inquisitive toddlers and even mischievous cats from long dangling chords from blinds or curtains. The chord wraps neatly around the winder. I've gone a step further and attached a small piece of double-sided Velcro on the back of the winder and a piece to the wall so the winder is far out of reach as well. Very happy with this product.

Coathangers and venetian blind cords . . .

. . . have one thing in common: They can be left in some sense of order. Behind your back tho, they tangle themselves into messes. Cords then tightly knot their messes and gradually shorten themselves. Really annoying. I bought one pair of these cord winders to see how they work. They work well. Quick, simple, quality plastic. They will be my secret weapon against future knotting efforts. I ordered two more pairs today. I think of them as cord wonders.

A must buy for blind chords.

After looking at all the blind chord wrap up products, I purchased these for all my blinds. I am terrified about my wee ones getting tangled in the chord or them getting strangled. These are the easiest to put on. I have four chords and they all wrapped around just fine. Easy to unravel and adjust as needed. Awesome purchase!!

Easy inexpensive solution - stops cats from pulling on cords

I bought these because our cats like to sit next to the window. But they would jump up to play with the cords, falling on the floor and potentially getting hurt. Or banging the blinds to grab the cords. Windups are a simple and inexpensive solution to the problem. I actually bought extras to put two windups on some longer cords. Once the cords are wound up high, the cats forget about them and don't jump to try to reach them.

Just what I needed.

When we got new windows to our house, we had to get new blinds because several of them were too short (previous home owners were fools.) Since a majority of our windows are rather tall, this requires tall blinds, which requires blinds to have long cords. The blinds come with these dock cleats (resemble the rope tie-downs seen on boat docks) to mount on your wall. These are unsightly and wanted to avoid drilling MORE holes in my walls. These cord wind ups are the perfect solution. Not only do these blend in well with the blinds, they are super easy to use and keep the cords from dragging on the ground, which creates dangerous situations for your children. I would definitely recommend these to anybody who has long blinds cords and children. Even if you don't have children, these are a good solution to the long cord.
