Love this phone

Love this phone. Especially like the call blocking button. This is an easy to use phone,and buttons are large and very simple. We keep a landline for power outages and this replaces a very old phone. Needed the extra handset in another room so in all this was a very good buy.

Reliable Product, Many Features, Great Price for Everything You Get!

We desperately needed new cordless phones, so after a bit of research we bought this set...and we are so glad we did. We've had the phones for almost four months now, and are extremely satisfied with out choice. The extra corded phone ended the issue of having no phones when both cordless phones are dead. The two satellite charging bases enabled us to locate the three phones in different areas of the house. Really love the talking caller I.D., as I don't have to even see the phone to decide if I will take the call. The 250 slots for blocked numbers may never get totally filled, but it is a nice feature to have. The ability to retrieve messages on all the phones rather than just at the base was a nice upgrade for us, very convenient. Haven't tried the two-way speaker-phone yet, but I am moving my office upstairs soon and since I can't hear people downstairs, this will turn into a handy feature. A reliable feature-filled set, complete with base phone plus two cordless phones for $75? Recommend this highly, an excellent buy!

This phone has much to offer...

We got this phone set for my elderly mother who suffers with memory issues. She was having problems answering the phones she had, because she never could figure out which button to push. We were hoping the corded phone would take care of that problem. It did! What we didn't expect was an extra bonus. If mom is in a room away from the corded phone and our call goes to the answering machine, our voices come over ALL handsets and we can "remind" her to go to the corded phone or direct her to the correct button to push on the cordless phones. The phone also lets you preprogram three numbers. We programed in our numbers and put our names next to each button, so she only needs to pick up the receiver and push the button next to our name to reach us. No more searching for numbers she can't remember, etc. I can't say enough about the features this phone set has to offer to people in our circumstances.

I bought this phone because of its call blocking feature. When a blocked call comes in, you can either set it to not ring at all or set it to only ring once. Blocking telemarketers is a never ending battle because they keep changing to newer numbers. But it has been so much more peaceful around the house since I got this phone.

So far so good.

Really am happy with these phones so far. Several points that I can offer are, you can check for messages from any of the handsets, no matter where you are in the house. The caller ID has a voice feature that announces the caller, you no longer have to be in position to view the screen. This also works from the handsets. An example, the other day I was elbow deep in the kitchen sink and was waiting on a call. The phone rang and I immediately began to dry my hands to work my way to the phone, when it announced the number and I knew it was a crap call, went back to work. Have not had an opportunity to test the call block feature yet but, am eagerly anticipating it's use. I would definitely recommend these phones.

Best Phone System

Love this phone. Had an earlier model and replaced it with AT&T model that I hated. This model has a block call feature that I love! I receive a thousand calls from sales, Google, just junk calls and now I can block them. I also needed the feature that lets me put "greeting only" on the answering machine when we are out of town and no messages are recorded. If you are a small business and just have one line this phone is perfect.

I Love This Phone

I absolutely love this phone! After reading reviews all over the internet, I decided to go with this one because all the reviews were positive. I had a problem with names not showing up when someone called me with my old phone. One of the first things I did was to put the names/numbers in the phone book list that I talk to on a regular basis. The next time the phone rang, not only did the name & numbers show up on the screen, but the speaker actually announced the name of the caller as well. This process helps me to immediately rule out the calls I want to block because it's easier to differentiate between the two, by allowing the telemarketing calls to go to the phone's voice mail and listening, than just push the call block button. The cordless handsets screen/keys illuminates even while talking on the phone with others, your able to see the name/flash button & determine if you want to take the call. It also has hands free speaker and conversations are crystal clear even on speakerphone. These are just a few of my highlights concerning this phone, however, there are many more. I highly recommend this phone to anyone who is in the market for a new landline phone. Great Job Panasonic!

Excellent Home Phone System

We are very happy with the Panasonic KX-TGF353N DECT 3-Handset home phone system. Much better audio quality than our previous cordless phones. Complete phone book integration between the corded base and the cordless handsets is great, plus if you need it, each cordless handset can have their own separate speed dials for different members of the family. Programming is no worse than anything else you program these days - just read the instructions and follow the menus. Sometimes the cordless menus are slightly different from the corded base and one menu set might be easier to navigate than the other. If you just want to use the phones without programming anything, they will work fine. The quality of the answering machine is good and we have received no complaints so far from our regular callers. This phone system has some useful programmable options and a reasonable manual to guide you through the process. The color of the phones is a welcome departure from black which most other models seem to be. The cordless handsets seem durable but I would not want to see how well they survive a drop on concrete. The screens are easy to read - date and time are set by the phone company and are accurate. Speaker-phone option is duplex and works very nice. Belt clips on the cordless handsets are optional in case you don't need them but I think they give just a bit more to hold onto while you talk. As always, there will be issues that reviewers mention and I thought it was odd that Panasonic provided the rechargeable batteries for the cordless handsets but did not provide the same rechargeable batteries for the power outage backup system on the corded phone. Nonetheless, that being a minor inconvenience to have to provide for yourself, this is a great phone system and I highly recommend it to you.

CALL BLOCK is my favorite feature!

It was time for new phones when I kept having issues with hearing quality on the old ones. I thought it was the line itself but turns out the pld phones were just not kickin it anymore. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Quick to set up and charge (overnight recommended), the corldess handsets offer plenty of features. The corded base is ideal for when the power goes out (frequent in my area) and it has a battery back up to boot! The call block feature is my absolute favorite thing about these phones! I made the mistake of taking a 'sales call' one day and donated to a charity who, in turn, sold my number to every solicitation group out there. My phone rang non-stop and even after having my number removed from half a dozen call lists, I discovered the same groups would just use a different number. But alas! Call block certainly works...just press the call block button from either the base or either handset, confirm 'yes' you want to block that number and you're done! In the first week, the calls have all but stopped. YES! Call quality is excellent, there is a large capacity for speed dial numbers and many, many other great features. I highly recommend and would purchase again. For the record, this was a straight out purchase - no discounted product, no free stuff, just spent my money and got a great product in return. Can't beat that!
