My 3 year old absolutely loves this set! I bought one for a road trip and it's late wore a while. I just ordered 2 more as backups for her.

A great activity for kids! I bought this for my 4 year old son (for a long plane trip) and accidentally bought two. My 8 year daughter wanted me to keep the extra one and she loved it. I think even more than my 4 year old and wants another one. Definitely a great purchase!

Bought this for a car trip for my 6 year old. She loved it. It was compact, everything was there and ready to go: best of all she could use it on her own, with no help.

My son is 4.5 yrs old and he LOVES this. He will sit for a while and work on these animals. He needs help taking the sticky back off but other than that, he can do it all by himself. A great idea for some creativity!

I bought this for a cross country flight and week-long hotel stay. It kept my daughter entertained and was easy to keep up with since the felt pieces stick to things. She loved making the animals pictured and coming up with her own creations. This is a welcome addition to our travel toys.

My grandchildren loved this (5 year boy and 6 & 7 year old girls). It has everything you need to create critters. We took this camping, it's best to sit at a table or picnic table. My 7 year old read the instructions and the other two went by pictures. There are scenery pages in the back to color & stick the critters onto but we used white paper & the kids drew their own scenes. And the book holds left over felt and book closes with velcro.

Kept 6 year old twins occupied in our travels. When they were done they stuck them on coffee stirrers and made puppets.

Best plane item!!! Bought for my 4 year old for a trip to London. It kept her occupied for sooo long with all the pieces. She loved it! I did have to help her, but still great.

This is a great set for adult supervised play. I ended up doing these all myself, its very relaxing to create the animals, sort of a stress release. The parts, especially the eyes are very small, about the size of an oatmeal flake or smaller. The sticky backs will sometimes need help attaching to each other ( I used some superglue especially around the eyes) I love the fact it comes in a portfolio type case, make one and put the rest away for later. Designed my 2 year olds door with colorful animals to point out, "dog" "cat" "mouse" etc. If you want these as a busy maker, possibly 4 years or older, enough to master tiny stickers. I really had fun and wish there were more available.

My 2,5 year old really liked making stickers with this book. In no way she would be able to do it on her own, but she really enjoyed putting it together with me and it kept her occupied/distracted from her cold for an hour. As other reviewers mentioned, it is not "on-the-go" activity because there are lots of small parts. It is more of a home craft project. While 2,5 year old need supervision with small details, I imagine that 4 year-old would be able to do it independently.
