Sensory Sea
This was wonderful for my son's sensory sea table. He really enjoyed them, and I will repurchase just to keep extras on hand. Each color makes about a mixing bowl full when water is added. Mixes well with "Finding Nemo" figures according to my son.

Not a fan of the packaging. But love the product already!
Arrived quickly. Can't say I cared for the difficult to open individual bags for the colors. But after 6 hours I had an amazing sensory toy for my special needs child. Some were warped. Others sort of burst. But for the price I didn't expect perfection. I paid .99cents for a light box app for my iPad and put the beads in a small clear kitchen drawer liner. I can't wait till she wakes up to see what she thinks. Don't buy the beads marketed for autism. They are vastly overpriced and achieve the same thing! This is about a teaspoon of beads. And it easily is enough for this sensory box. And I would say you have probably 10 times that much once you add the colors together.

Great product and great value!
We love these things! My son loves to play with these, whether by themselves or inside a balloon. They take about 6-8 hours to grow to the fullest size (which is about the size of a dime).

I love these! And I love that the colors were ...
I love these! And I love that the colors were all separate, that was why I picked this over any other one. They work just as well as the expensive, name brand water beads too

A really good deal!
It came with enough beads for months of fun. Tiny beads grow 10x their size within a couple of hours. Beautiful colors.

So cool
The water beads are exactly as described. Very easy to expand. I am a florist and am excited to see what I can do with them. Today starts a practice run to see how long a fresh flowers will last using them. I will update when I am done testing

That's a ton of beads!
I greatly overestimated how big these were and how many I would need (that's not a complaint!) I had enough for my needs and pass along the extras to a friend who teaches children who have sensory issues. So this was a two-time win-win.

Happy With this Purchase
I discovered these beads while at a flower and garden show (not this seller). I liked them so much I hopped on Amazon to buy more. When these beads arrived they were larger than the first ones I bought and I was dubious that I had gotten the same thing. If anything, these beads are even better--they "plumped up" bigger and filled up more space with less water. Attached are two examples.

This are totally amazing, if not entirely useful to me.
This didn’t work for the purpose for which I’d bought them (I tried to use them as armatures for polymer clay to make hollow beads), but they certainly do their job: you add water and before you know it, you have bizillions of slippery little water balls! They’re quite remarkable, and while I haven’t any use for ‘em (I have no plants), I gave little bags full to neighbors with grandchildren, and they reported back that the kids had a blast with ‘em. I intend to take a second stab at covering ‘em in polymer. The problem is they’re so slippery, I can’t get the clay onto ‘em. If they’d stop weeping water, I’d be able to do it, so I’m gonna try again, this time letting the beads dry a little bit first. It’s still a worthy experiment, I think.

Beautiful and fun, but terrible for providing water to flowers.
These worked exactly as expected. They took a little longer to completely absorb water than I thought, but after letting them soak overnight they were all fully formed and about the size of marbles. They look really pretty and are super fun for kids’ sensory activities (read: I let my 2yo still his hands into the vase and mix them all up, and he loved it). I have seen these used at weddings instead of water, but they are completely useless for this purpose because they don’t actually provide any water to cut stems. I foolishly let some hydrangeas sit in them thinking they would be fine and they all faded in 1 day, unlike the stems I left in straight water which were all fine. I used these beads for a black & white/rainbow baby shower and just added a few inches of water to the bottom of each vase with the already fully-formed beads in them and the flowers held up for the event, but not much longer. As the beads are exposed to air, they keep pulling more water from the bottom of the vase to maintain their max size, which is obviously not great for the flowers! I’m currently letting them all dry out in a single layer on plates and hoping to store them for future use. I’ll update if this is not successful. Glad I got them. Would buy again!
