This has survived many long days of both teaching full-time and going to school at the same time, so in my experience, this is a durable product. Given that I only use physical copies of textbooks at work, the capacity is more than acceptable; I can fit two textbooks, extra handouts, and all of my current student papers in this bag. Even with all of that in the bag, I have room to spare for my tablet (which contains my own textbooks for school) and a variety of personal items to help me survive long days away from the house in comfort. One nice feature of the bag is the telescoping handle by which you pull it. Besides the obvious convenience of the handle only taking up space when you need it, this kind of handle allows me to slip my lunch bag securely over that handle, just as I could with a rolling suitcase. Given that I bring lunch, dinner, and snacks with me when I leave the house, being able to conveniently secure a large lunch bag right on my briefcase is pretty important to me. If you're having trouble picturing how this works, take a look at the pictures of the eBags Crew Cooler II here: https://www.amazon.com/eBags-Crew-Cooler-II/dp/B004C140ZO Besides using this during the week for work and school, I also use it for a laptop bag as needed for weekend meetings, and the padded compartment that secures my laptop is still in good condition after quite some time of using it for a heavy textbook instead.

I have used this bag for over six months now and it still functions like new. The handle collapses and expands without issue, the wheels still roll smoothly and quietly. I use this bag four days per week and haul it over rough, sometimes sandy parking lots about 50% of those days. I wanted something basic and simple yet sturdy and this fits the bill perfectly. Plenty of inner compartment space for my needs. I haul a tablet, several thick folders, water bottle, umbrella, small office supply bag and the usual miscellaneous junk that finds it's way into my day. I have gone through other bags in past which usually fail because the wheels get ground down and cease to roll smoothly but this one is holding up extremely well. Very happy. The price is quite good too.

I love this bag! It is exactly what I needed. I used to carry around a big purse that weighed down on my shoulder and it was so uncomfortable. I bought this bag to make it easier on my shoulder, I use this bag for my quick overnights and to take my things to work everyday. I also love the wheels are very durable. I went on a weekend trip with this bag and all my things fit. I know it’s supposed to be for a laptop and office things, but I’m using it as a rolling purse and an overnight bag! It also fits perfectly under the seat with no fuss. I flew the two seater jet over the weekend and This bag fit easily under my seat. Pictures show my charging cord easily coming through the front pocket where I placed my external battery charger. Works beautifully for me! I would definitely recommend.

I was a bit skeptical about this bag based on some of the reviews that I read. But, I figured since it was so much cheaper than a lot of the other laptop bags on here, I would take a chance and order it. I'm really glad that I did. I've had this case for a good month now and it works well. I have to tote around a lot of items for my job, and it fits everything comfortably. Looking inside my bag right now, I have the following items: 1) Laptop with power cord and full sized mouse 2) Two 1 inch binders 3) Three folders 4) A pair of flip flops 5) A few legal pads 6) My pencil/pen pouch 7) My 16 oz coffee mug I like that there are separate sections to put items in. My old rolling bag was more similar to a dufful bag with wheels, so I was always digging around the bottom looking for my smaller items. With this bag, I can get to things quickly. I probably shouldn't do this, but sometimes I pick it up by the long metal handle to get it up the stairs. Handle seems to be holding out and hasn't because loose or broken. It rolls upstairs, on uneven sidewalk pavement, across grass, etc.

I use this to carry my laptop (macbook air) and breastpump to the office and back. It fits it all well (just a little tight, but the breastpump is thicker than most if the usual office supplies this is actually meant to carry). I like the organizational compartments in the front pocket, and it rolls well. Also, the telescopic handle is a nice height for me. I'm 6'1" and often have issues with rolling luggage that is just too short to comfortably walk with, but this is perfectly comfortable with a taller stride. My back and shoulders would ache after hauling my shoulder bag to and from work, but this little case solved that problem perfectly. I'm very glad I purchased it, and would recommend it to others.

This case is lightweight and it travels easily. It's got plenty of room to hold all you need. It probably can hold much more than it should, however, for its strength. In other words, if you pack it full and cart it around a lot, you'll probably shorten its lifespan, but if you treat it with reasonable care - and not use it to pack all your heavy school books along with all your computer accessories, for example - it should hold up well.

I replaced a worn out Samsonite rolling computer bag (retailed for $200-300) with this Amazon Basics rolling computer bag. The Amazon bag functions at least as well, and perhaps a bit better. I like the Amazon bag for multiple reasons: 1. Sufficient capacity for my Dell Latitude with a 15.6" display screen and a huge number of it's accessories (portfolio binder, pens, business cards, small AC adapter, mouse, external keyboard (mini), Wi-Fi range extender, Ethernet cable, presentation tool, cable lock, ...), a n inch or two stack of documents, umbrella , flashlight, etc. 2. Lightweight 3. Smaller outside than the Samsonite, but seems to have just as much capacity 4. Wheels are very quiet when rolling 5 Quality 6. Price

I am a Information Technology consultant and on a daily basis carry my laptop and equipment to different client facilities. I have been using rolling laptop cases since 2004 and had multiple brands and models: here is how the AmazonBasics version compare (based on 8 days of usage since it arrived): 1. Great value (most other case i used average between $75 to $200). 2. Conveniently Sized: My Lenovo Yoga 720 15.6 laptop and accessories fit with room to spare and the overall size of the case is great when you are constantly moving through facilities (think elevators full of personnel, lunch rooms, lifting the case to the trunk of the car and storage under assigned cubicles). 3. Good Build Quality: the extendable handle, pockets, zippers and wheels feel sturdy enough for daily use (even when rolling through rough and uneven sidewalks / streets). My only dislike is that even thought there are 2 separate zippered compartments they are not fully separated; there is a space in the bottom of the bag where your accessories can freely move from one compartment to the other. My strategy for rolling laptop cases was to buy the best and most expensive model that I could afford and hope it lasted for years; now with these prices I expect to replace rolling laptops cases as necessary through time without having to spend a fortune.

Order it Wednesday night and was at my door before noon on Friday. Amazon, you did it again! So a little bit of background info. I am more or less a traveling salesperson. Besides a 16' laptop, I also carry a secondary screen that's about the same size and just as heavy. Padfolio for notes, give away pens, my files, client files and basically bring my office with me. I hurt my shoulder so using my shoulder carry bag was starting to be really painful. Needed something that I can wheel around while my shoulder rest. I figured that at this price, this is disposable if it ends up to be a crap bag. So far, first impressions are positive. --- Overall Size --- It's just a bit thicker than my normal shoulder carry bag and just a bit taller. I say the empty weight is about 3~5 lbs and it's pretty much in line with a shoulder carry --- Storage Space --- Roomy. The first section (the small front pouch) can be opened pretty wide. you can see that in the pictures. I used a dollar bill so you can get some perspective. However, the little divider sections in the pouch are kind of a joke. I wish they would have made less section and make the pockets in there bigger. The midsection has the dedicated space for a laptop. Fit my 16 inch laptop and additional screen fine. Nice touch by adding padding at the bottom of that portion. I think it will offer some minor protection if you drop it a little. DIdn't do a drop test tough. There is additional space for my padfolio and files right next to the laptop section. It's pretty big. However, it shares space with the 3rd section of the bag. See pictures The third section is where the handle is located. I took a picture on the top of that section when the handle has been retracted and zipped. You can see it bulging quite a bit. Kind of weird to look at. But I don't expect to ever put the handle away so it's not a big deal. But just wanted to point it out. I need this to function, not to look pristine. There is some additional space here but the funny part is that the divider "wall" between section 2 & 3 is not sowed all the way to the bottom. So if you place something small in there, it could easily rolled to section 2 of the bag. Not sure why they designed it this way. But not a deal breaker for me since I plan to keep folders in that section. But if you carry a lot of small parts and need to keep organized, I would put them in ziplock bags beforehand. --- Mechanics & Material--- Solid. Outer shell seems sturdy, wheels roll fine and the handle is nice. As for the handle, when pulled out at full length, it comes up to my belly button and I'm a bit over 5'8. Wheeling it was quite comfortable. Haven't load it up completely yet but the dry runs feel decent. The wheels do take up a very small amount of space in section 3 of the bag. However, your contents are protected by a piece hard plastic between the wheel and the bag so I don't expect any damage to your things. There is just a thin fabric between the bag and the handle arm that extends inside the bag to the bottom. I would watch it if you are going to carry deligate items. Lastly, I would say the price. At $35 bucks, I consider this bag to be disposable. Not that I have $35 dollars to throw down the drain but I feel that it is offering quite a bit of value. I was concern about other reviewing talking about the wheel not lasting as long. However, since my trips are mostly around parking lots and office buildings, I figured that I can take that chance. I will update if the wheel fails for the light amount to "towing" I would be doing. That would be a pretty major fail if it can survive trips around a parking lot. Time will tell.

I have joint issues and had a conference coming up where I wouldn't be able to stay in a nearby hotel. I wanted something that could work as carry-on luggage but be small enough to tote around every day at a conference when I needed to bring my laptop and other heavy items. This worked great and spared my body from a lot of pain. I was even able to balance my clothing-filled backpack on top and roll everything around the airport when I was travelling. I was able to carry my laptop, various chargers, a notebook, my disability "emergency kit" which is a pouch filled with various wipes and tapes and medications and a fair amount of other necessities that I like to carry around everywhere. I had plenty of room left over for snacks and stashed winter clothing. The front pouch was good for small items like hand sanitizer and travel documents. My only complaint so far is that the one-way wheels can be a bit annoying when you're trying to quickly navigate a crowd. But they're really smooth as long as you're not trying to do any strange maneuvers. Also, they managed to survive miles of unpleasant cobblestone in DC. This bag was well worth the price just to get me through the conference, but hopefully it will have longevity beyond this. I'll update my review if anything dramatic or disappointing happens in the future.
