Love this!! my baby has had this since she was 4 months old (she's 1 now) and won't fall asleep without it. we even bought three of them cause she accidentally lost one of them. you can wash it in the washing machine without a problem. i wash it every 2-3 weeks and it doesn't affect the toy at all

Every kid needs a woobie.

I bought this for my sister who is having a baby boy. The theme is elephants and I just couldn't resist. She loves it and says that it is soft and really cuddly. She also said one of her nieces has a similar one and has been carrying it around for three years -- just loves it. There's just something really cute about having a stuffed animal attached to a blanket. I'll update the review if it ends up falling apart, but I foresee my nephew snuggling with this for a long time.

Just arrived yesterday - super soft and snuggly

Just arrived yesterday - super soft and snuggly! Appear well-made. Didn't find any "fluff" when I rubbed/shook lightly (sometimes fluff can come off soft items, and I don't like that for babies for obvious reasons!). I bought the elephant and giraffe, to have available for baby presents when needed. So they haven't received any hugs and cuddles from babies yet, but imagine they will be :) I am posting this same review for both the elephant and giraffe....hopefully that won't come up as some kind of "robot" posting!

My baby's favorite.

We received this lovey as a shower gift, and it's become my daughter's favorite. We recently bought a second one so that there's always a spare. She chews on it and snuggles it constantly, and loves to stuff the elephant's trunk in her mouth. It's nice finding a lovey that's affordable, soft, easy to clean, and can be replaced if and when it's needed.

We Love It

I bought this for my son when he was a baby and it ended up sitting in his nursery because he wasn’t really into it. Well fast forward to a 2 year old and he is obsessed with his “outfit” that’s how he pronounces elephant. He sleeps with this every night and we travel with it on all of our over night trips. It’s soft cuddly and adorable. Cleans easily in the wash and has also helped him comprehend animals as well! Love this lovie so much.

Giraffe for the win over the other lovies

I bought 5 different lovies in an attempt to convert my daughter from her security blanket to something smaller to carry around. She still hasn't given up her blanket since that is for sleep, but at least she has another comfort item that is easier to carry outside the house. Picked it over the pink owl, blue fox, different brand brown fox and dog lovies.

Please don't ever stop producing these.

This little blanket is one of the best gifts I ever purchased for my daughter on behalf of myself-- she cuddles up with it every night before bed and during the day as a comfort item. In this house, this poor Owl blanket winds up in the wash at least once a week to rid all the baby slobber, boogers, food, and God-knows-what-else, yet still manages to maintain its integrity without wearing down. And this poor Owl has walked the gauntlet; if it's not being tugged on thrown around by a baby, it's being dropped, dragged, and stepped on by a mom who doesn't have enough hands to pick it back up again. My daughter's first Owl lost a battle to my German Shepherd, who decided to tear it up one night. The only issue I had with that was minor de-threading in the corners, but it's expected about the 9+ months of abuse it was out through. The second Owl has since held up strong. It's easy to wash, quick to dry even with the stuffed Owl part, and still is as soft as ever. My daughter loves to chew on the ears too, so it's a teething toy she's less likely to drop and not be able to grasp back up easily. For months on end, she'd rub this blanket across her head every night to soothe herself before falling asleep, and it became quite an essential item to have in the house as a result. I'd buy a box full of these if I could. One of the best purchases I made as a new mom.

I got this blanket as a baby shower gift. My brothers daughter is now two and she doesn't leave the house without her blanky. It's still in great condition and hasn't lost it's softness or color with repeated washes.
