Burning skin at first.

Was a little nervous to buy this for my tattoo, but ever since I’ve been using it my tattoo hasn’t been as itchy and the bonus is it smells great! The first time I put it on, my tattoo felt like it was burning but I’ve had no problems since. I’m still very cautious of this product and only using it when I feel like it’s appropriate. I would stick to using Lubriderm since that’s what was recommended to me. But overall very happy with the product and would get again.

This is the best tattoo cream on the planet! I've tried many others and they never live up to what they are made to do. Smells great. Not greasy. Doesnt pull the ink. Heals fast. No joke my tattoos NEVER got a scab while using this and healed with in days not a week like pass ones have. My tattoos look amazing!

effective and easy to use

Great stuff! The studio where my tattoo was done gave me some excellent vegan balm, but I realized it wouldn't be enough for the duration of my healing. Googled tattoo balms and found this- it's very good! It's actually easier to spread than the other one- I just put some on my hand and then lightly press into my tattoo. I has a mild, pleasant fragrance and is easily absorbed by my skin. I'll continue to use it until it's gone for as my skin heals and to keep colors bright.

Great stuff! Got my first tattoo recently, was told to use Aquafor ointment at first, which I did but I HATED it because it was greasy, messy and left stains on my clothes, not to mention was nearly impossible to wash out of my hair where it came in contact with it. I was getting very paranoid about using a petroleum-based product so I quickly researched alternatives and came across Hustle Butter. Wish I knew about it from day one, this stuff is the best. It’s all natural, smells amazing, doesn’t stain. It’s not really greasy but it does have a smooth, thin, somewhat “naturally oily” feel to it, but in a good way. It soaks into your skin and moisturizes well all day. A tiny bit goes a long way, I bought the little 1-ounce jar and am only halfway through it after using 2-3 times daily for over two weeks, on an area about 6”x7”. Planning to buy the 5-ounce jar after this so it should last a good 6 months or more. And it’s cruelty-free, a huge plus in my book! Highly recommended, I wouldn’t use anything else.

Kept popping up when doing research

So I finally got my first tat, unless eyebrow microblading counts. I was using Aquaphor, but noticed peeling, roughness, and itching was not going away. Found this Hustle Butter after researching online better options for new ink care. After the first use the itching stopped, the filking stopped, and the skin became smooth again. The ink is holding well and I've been asked if it's fake. Smells amazing too btw, and have been using it on my hands. Will use this butter when I get my eyebrows redone as that gave me some issues the first time around

Yay!!!!! My new bff

I got a large piece on my thigh. When I first got it I used aquaphor for 2 days then switched to unscented lotion. It itched like CRAZY. It was peely and gross. I got this stuff bc of the reviews and waited for it to arrive. It took 2 days for the peeling to go away and now I use it a few times a day and after shower and before bed. It doesn’t itch at all any more!! this stuff smells amazing and has super duper made my tattoo so comfy. I think I need to apply it less so it can scab up? But right now it feels great. It’s summer so on days I wear shorts or a shorter dress or whatever I put a tattoo sunscreen lotion on it, something with zinc or whatever. Works really well!

I like it better than H2o moisture because of the smell and it doesn't have to be reapplied as much. H2o has a great pain relief one that was a huge help getting me through the 1st couple days. However after the initial 48 hrs I was constantly reapplying h2o until my tatt looked like a pile of mush on my back. All the ink from just getting it done with all that h2o cream that didn't absorb... It looked gross. This works better. I know your tattoo person most likely sells the H2o. Do your self a favor ... buy the h2o kit before your tattoo on Amazon it is worth it alone for the sunscreen for the price ect but buying the hustle butter will make your tattoo happy.

Will never use another tattoo healing cream

I just finished my 3/4 sleeve, I had my inner elbow (ditch) colored pretty heavily. I knew it would take a lot longer to heal because of the location and color. I ran out of auquaphor and only had aveeno hand lotion, but noticed my ditch wasn’t healing properly and wasn’t happy with the way it felt and had to apply it every hour because it would dry it out (this was 9 days after getting tattooed). Purchasing hustle butter was the best decision I made. Immediately upon applying, it mosisturized my skin and felt like my skin was able to breathe and only had to apply a couple times per day. Within the day (day 10) the colored skin patches, which were hard and scaly, started to dry up while the rest of the tattoo was moist and started to peel noramally. Not to mention, this product smells absolutely amazing, I’ve actually gotten compliments on the smell. Literally within 2 days of using this product, my tattoo went from hard and scaly to moisturized and peeling healthily. I’m tempted to get another tattoo just to use the rest of the product. Definitely recomend!!

highly recommend!

LOVED this product. i just got my first tattoo about two weeks ago and i was quite unprepared as i hadn’t ordered any lotions/creams for after care. i immediately found this product and ordered it as the reviews were amazing and i’m so glad i did. i was using Eucerin as i was waiting for this to arrive and i felt as though it wasn’t actually moisturizing at all. this product immediately soaked into my skin and i applied it a couple times a day before i left home or got back, etc. the texture is less of a lotion and more of a butter but it applies so smoothly and the results are amazing.
