Sturdy, well made. I have three of these covers now - two medium sized and one large sized. All are very well made. I feel like they will last a very long time. I like that there are 4 pen/pencil loops inside the cover and that there is an outside, slip in pocket too. The medium holds my standard sized Bible easily. The slip in pocket easily holds a thin (like ~120 page) paper back book. In the large I can get my standard sized bible and a 200 page book, with again, a thiner (~120 page) paperback book in the outside slip-in pocket. Great little book bag/cover!

Perfect fit, putrid smell

Mixed review. Maximum stars because this bible cover perfectly fits my extra thick, large print, MacArthur Study Bible, with extended chapter Tabs. Perfectly. It also is the perfect purple/violet. I love it. The bad news; it reeks of moth balls. The smell is disgusting. I should send it back, but I'm going to give my effort at deodorizing it. Perfect color, perfect fit, putrid odor.

Truly Functional!

The item arrived in a timely fashion. Though a little big for the bible I have––width-wise, I am pleased with how functional it is. It resembles a tablet case. The rounded corners make it somewhat of a challenge to close (zip-up) and open. I would also suggest having Velcro or some other way to seal the side compartment/pocket, so when turned over items do not easily fall out. The material the item is made out of––like that of a typical "school bag," appears to be washer friendly. I really appreciate that. I am hoping it lasts, but it looks durable. Pleased with overall functionality.

This is the Best Bible Cover I have found

This is the Best Bible Cover I have found. It's very well made, extremely sturdy, the zipper works smoothly, the pen holders are wonderful, and the slip pocket on the outside is very handy! The carry handle is smooth and comfortable on my hand, which has arthritis, so more sensitive to the touch. The cover is roomy enough to also hold my note book. I would Highly recommend this Bible Cover.

Holding up well without using the handle.

Seems good enough and lasting well as I haven't used the strap handle. It looks from the appearance like we should take note of the reviews abought the handle ripping out. I might reinforce it, as it is hard to constantly resist it. I like everything else about it; the size fits my bible well, the pen slots, the inside cover pockets are large enough to use the bible in it without it falling off.

Great Armor of God Bible Cover!

The price was more than I would have paid in our local store but I did not have time to go to the store so I looked on Amazon. The Armor of God Bible Cover is great and well made and worth the price. Even though I ordered the XL, I was still concerned that my husband's bible would not fit (e.g. cover too small), but it fit just right! I also forgot to check to see if the cover had a strap holder so I was very glad when I opened the package and saw that it did have a strap holder. Very happy with this purchase.

Amazing Upgrade From My One That Fell Apart

I love this new cover. My old one finally fell apart after nearly 20 years (have no idea what brand it was) so it was time for an upgrade. Though please actually measure your Bible (and Sunday School book) before ordering and look at the description for sizing. I got the larger size and totally could have done with the smaller size, even with my Sunday School book. The quality is great and the zipper is not super loud (a big bonus in church). I love that it has 2 pockets on the inside and 1 pocket on the outside for handouts and church bulletins and 4 pen/highlighter spots inside.

A Very Nice Bible Case At A Low Price

This Bible case fits my Study Bible perfectly. Looks great. I bought the XL size. A nice cover at a low price. Constructed well. I love the pocket on the front of the cover. I also love the four pen/highlighter loops inside the front cover. Some reviewers said their Bible cover had a bad odor when they opened the package. I did not experience that. Some said the zipper and handle were weak. Mine appear to be strong. I am very pleased with this product.

This cove is bright and pretty. I like the pockets (2 inside and 1 outside). It also has little slots for 4 pens inside. My Bible, pens, colored pencils, gel highlighters all fit in here with room to spare. I can zip it up and cart it anywhere,

Good cover but too tight for my BIble.

The Bible cover purchased appears well made; durable fabric, good craftsmanship, zipper works well, and it has a convenient outside pocket. Unfortunately my NIV Study Bible does not fit into this cover's "large" size. My current cover has a "large" tag. If you have a fat study Bible like mine, you will need to get the next size bigger if you want to use this style of cover. My Bible is too tight and there is not enough room to zip it up. I measured carefully and the measurements fall into the website measurements so beware it is better to get the next size up if you have a Bible like mine. It appears there is some variance between Bible cover manufacturers. I would recommend this cover. Be careful on sizing.
