After I figured out that it worked with Bluetooth and didn't have to be plugged in, it was great. Need some directions added to the box for us technically challenged folks.

This is not your average monopole.

This is not your average monopole. It is very sturdy, well built and has infinite adjustments. It does come with a carry bag and three extra mounts. Two are for your cell phone with one eliminating the spring and using a screw-clamp. It also has a plastic mirror about 2" square that snaps on the back of the spring mount and works well. It also comes with a GoPro style mount and a small charging cable for the remote. I had to test the camera claim and found that the pole does flex but not very much. The pole itself also has a small mirror on it but it is useless at any distance and it is convex and shows a field of view that is almost 180 degrees. Nice thought though. At full length, with a little over a pound, it flexed 1" Even with 3+ pounds of Nikon gear it did not flex more than that but I could not hold it steady to take a picture with that amount of weight on it. The BT remote stays fits securely in place until you need it, is easy to charge and connects to your cellphone very quickly. The remote is molded to allow a strap attached but does not come with one. The pole itself comes with a strap attached and is adjustable to your wrist size.

This is Pro as Pro can get at this price, You will buy it for a super sturdy selfie stick, the best I have ever seen and I have 7 kinds. but the accessories that come with this are invaluable! I am into photography and I can really use some of the items that come with this stick in other applications it comes with some super useable and really neato Mounts. My phone is a huge Galaxy Note 4 and this accepts that with ease. This will hold my DSLR but man what this thing will hold is way beyond what your hand can stand! LOL This is one of those products that is sure to set the standard in Selfies! Comes with EVERYTHING you might need and a really nice storage cover. SUPER adjustable, I have a super long Lens on my DSLR and the lens mounts to the tripod, I can use this on the Camera to steady the shot! I am REALLY going to get a LOT of use from this sturdy, well-crafted item obviously made with pride! I LOVE IT! EDIT And after using it a lot, I STILL love it! It's all I said it is, it's all the seller says it is and they have GREAT Customer service!

Great product!

I bought this selfie stick to use with my Canon in hopes of getting unique angles of the ocean side on my trip to Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, it's not really sturdy enough to support a heavy DSLR, but it's perfect for my iPhone, and extends pretty far. I took a few shots of the height - I'm 5'2" tall, and when I hold it in the air (extended as far as it will go) it actually reaches my ceiling. Pretty cool toy to have if you love taking travel photos or just want some cool angles.

This is the first selfie-stick I bought and so far love it. Pros: 1. Sturdy 2. Two different methods to use for your phone. One is screw down that I preferred. Once it is set close to your phone's size, it goes on and off very quickly. The other is spring loaded. 3. A mirror for the spring loaded holder. 4. It can reach out 4' 9" and the pole locks into place. 5. Strong enough for a regular camera. 6. Has parts for a go pro. 7. It swivels and moves to different positions, and then you can lock it in place. 8. Easy to use Bluetooth remote control. 9. Has a carry case for the stick. Cons 1. No rear mirror for the screw lock holder which is the one I will be using. 2. Be very, very careful with the spring loaded holder. It locks down tightly and if your phone is not in there correctly, the spring closes and your phone goes flying. 3. Blue tooth remote control has a + and - button, but all they do on the Samsung 7 is take more pictures. I am not sure what their function should be. I thought it was to zoom in, but they just take pictures.

So, I have had this product for a little over 1 month and I can say with confidence, that this is one of the best selfie sticks currently available! The stick itself is incredibly sturdy, even though you can extend it pretty far and I have tried quite a few to get a comparison. The Bluetooth remote that comes with it, is well made as well; the battery lasts quite a while before you need to recharge it and I've never had a connectivity issue between the remote and my phone. The only con that I have found in my opinion, is that the Bluetooth remote buttons kind of feel cheap, other than that... Everything really feels professional and well made! FYI: I don't know if climate plays any kind of a difference, but when I used this product... It was in the dead of winter (used this product in negative 15 degree weather).

Nice Unit that fits iPhone 6 fine

Just received my selfie-stick. It works really well. I have a smaller Sony digital camera that isn't too heavy to be used on it and also an iPhone 6. My iPhone is in one of those Otterbox black rubber cases and it fits fine in both of the two included camera mounts (spring clip and screw-down mounts). The blue-tooth controller snaps into the handle and can be used remotely too. It paired easily with the iPhone 6. The buttons can be used to raise or lower the volume or take a photo. It also will start a video. All you have to do is put the camera in video mode and when you press the button, the video will start. Easy! This unit has a long reach and it also comes with an attachment for a GoPro camera and a small metal mirror for self portaits (I haven't tried that). The remote charges via USB (it comes with a 9" long USB cable but no AC charger). The remote charges up in about an hour or less and the instructions say that it can be left on since it goes into sleep mode to preserve the battery. It also comes with a nylon carrying case that can be slug over your shoulder. I wish the case was a little longer to better fit when the camera adapter is screwed onto the top. I like the adjustment clamps that are like many on camera tripods. Speaking of tripods, this unit has a camera tripod screw mount at the end of the handle that can be used to mount it to a tripod. It also has a wrist strap. Overall a very nice unit. One final note: I just purchased my unit in October 2017. I have seen notes that certain older versions won't work with the newer IOS operating system. My phone has IOS 11.0.2 and it is working fine.

I use it all of the time. The removable Bluetooth remote is a really nice touch (if you are having any issues with it and have upgraded to iOS 10 that is most likely the problem. I had no problems with it before the software update) It's sturdy enough for my Nikon d80 but does require 2 -hands for me to use it. I use Amazon basics remote shutter or nikons plug in remote shutter for camera since it is not blue tooth ready. ***selfie stick does nothing to resolve RBF induced by sun in the face and you might look like a total grinch in all of your travel pictures***
