Using pegs for counting, sorting, patterning, and building fine motor skills.
This toy is spectacular for my two and a half year old! She loves placing the pegs in the foam board and is able to stack the pegs as well! We have used the pegs for counting, sorting, patterning, and building fine motor skills. She will actually sit for 30-40 minutes straight playing with this toy!

This Peg Board Set is Fun and Educational at the Same Time!
I first heard about this peg board set from my sister-in-law who is using it for her two-year-old son and really liked it so I ordered it for my three-year-old twins. My kids got this for Christmas and it has been one of their favorite toys so far! Here is what is included in the set: 1- 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" x 1/4" foam peg board. The description says the boards are assorted colors and we received an orange one. It has a total of 25 evenly-spaced holes where you can insert the pegs. 30 pegs in 6 different colors (5 each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple). They are each about 2" tall and about 1 1/2" in diameter with a hole in the top so you can insert a peg. The pegs are made of a hard plastic material. 1 drawstring bag for storing and carrying around the board and pegs. It is made of a nice cloth material that would be easy to wash if it gets dirty. When we first opened the set, the holes were a bit tight but all it took was keeping the pegs in the board overnight and the holes had loosened up enough so my kids could easily put the pegs in the holes themselves. You can use this on carpet and hard, flat surfaces and it will work well. There are so many fun possibilities for this set which will help with fine motor skills! Kids can practice counting, naming colors, stacking (we've been able to stack about 10-12 pegs before the tower falls over), and grasping small objects and placing them in the holes, just to name a few. I can already tell that my kids' fine motor skills are improving even within the short amount of time we've been using this and I definitely see us using this for many years to come. This peg board set is a wonderful idea for anyone whose child needs some more work with fine motor skills or just to use as a fun, educational toy. Even I enjoy using it with my kids so it would probably be enjoyable for people of all ages. I feel it is priced fairly reasonably and I really like the great quality that we received with this set. My kids and I are very happy with this toy and I would highly recommend it to anyone with young children!

Great product, great company customer service
My son has a Sensory Processing Disorder and is currently in Occupational Therapy. His therapist has peg board set similar to this one so we decided to purchase one for him to use everyday. The set is very nice and colorful and has a fantastic storage bag that allows me to keep the pieces all together. It is working as it should and really helping my son prove his eye-hand coordination and wrist movement. I am very pleased with the product and this company. After receiving this item, a representative contacted me through email to inquire about the product and how it is working for us. He was very nice and courteous. I would definitely purchase from this company again.

Can't get my toddler away from these. Seriously, someone help!
I received this in the mail just a few short days ago and here is my unbiased review. First, let me say that this comes in pretty much Frustration Free Packaging. Just open the plastic bag and you've got it. There are instructions included with this that you have to condition the board before use. Basically, you need to stick the pegs in the board to size it overnight. That's it. Comes with a nice drawstring bag to contain everything. One of the first things that I noticed when my child was playing with it, is that the pegs are a good size for a toddler's hand. Not too big and not too small, just right. These pegs are easily stackable and she doesn't need any balancing skills whatsoever like with traditional blocks. She likes the assorted colors of the pegs and (bonus!) we can use those later for when she is learning colors for sorting! The foam baseboard is easy to handle doesn't have any sharp edges. I like the fact that if she wants to chew on it she won't get hurt. Even though this is a relatively new toy for her, I have to say that this one gets a lot of play time use, probably because of the ease of use for her. There's basically no learning curve and she loves seeing how high she can get them stacked!

What a nice product- my daughter is turning 2 in a few ...
What a nice product- my daughter is turning 2 in a few weeks so decided to get her this as one of her presents since she likes to build and stack things... I received yesterday and took out of the packaging to prep the board before she uses it and I was really impressed. The pegs were nice and big and made with what seems to be a nice durable plastic. They seem the perfect size for little hands, even without prep the pegs slipped into the holes quite nicely and they stack on each other wonderfully, they felt secure but easy enough to pull apart. I am excited for her to open it up because I think she will love it. And the bonus is it came with a great little orange bag that fits everything securely inside. As any parent with little kids knows- we love to get our children things with a lot of pieces to only then have to make sure thise pieces have somewhere to go after play time is over so they don't end up lost or scattered about. Skoolzy solves this issue before it becomes one, with this bag. To be honest I was hesitant about ordering this set (there are so many peg boards to choose from) but after reading the reviews I felt like it might be perfect. I am glad I did. Super impressed. Also the customer service seems to be very attentive and really wants to make sure customers are satisfied. If you're looking for a peg board like I was I say stop looking because this is the one.

Nice toy
This is a great building toy and I purchased it for my two-year-old grandson when he came to visit. He got a little frustrated trying to put the pieces into the platform but had no problem building the pieces high. I am sure it will not be a problem for him though. Thank goodness for the storage bag. All toys with multiple parts should have them. Otherwise I have to use Crown Royal bags :-)

Love this toy for disabled son!!!
My son is disabled and his Occupational therapist suggested that we get him a peg board set to work with at home. I didn't really know which one to get so I bought this one and the Alex jr. Chunky peg board so I could make sure one would work for him since he has difficulty using his hands. I really thought I was going to like the other better since it was much simpler to use and had a plastic base, but surprisingly, him and I both perfer this one. The foam base and snug fit of each peg makes the stack much more stable. My son loves to stack them as tall as he can and he can make them go up much higher using this set. I also really like the nice bag to store the set in. The other one I bought didn't come with anything like that and all the peices are all over the place. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy them again!

Great toy to take on vacation
My son loves to make towers using this peg board set. It's also good for identifying colors and making patterns in the holes. I bought it for my two year old to take on vacation (a cruise). He still plays with it now that we're home. I love that it has a carry case. The pieces stack easily and fit well in the holes. Reviews for other products said that it was necessary to put the pegs in the holes to stretch them before kids are able to use them, but this one was ready to go as soon as we got it.

Fantastic toy for curious minds
This toy proves learning can be fun and educational. I have struggled to find educational toys for my son after he turned two, and then I discovered Skoolzy toys. There are so many ways to play this game, from sorting by color, to stacking, to lacing. This toy engages children however they learn, as its visual and tactical. And, BONUS, it all stores nicely in a complementary bag for easy clean up! I like this toy so much, I have given it to my friends kids as birthday gifts. It’s a fantastic toy for curious minds!

Fine Motor Skills Toy that is FUN, PORTABLE and STORABLE
I was asked not to buy this child anything for Christmas because he has everything he needs. Not gonna happen. It's Christmas; you buy a kid a present! So I figured, this is educational, fun, and will work on Milo's fine motor skills. This amazing 18-year-old immediately began sticking those pegs into the holes, stacking them, then of course putting them in his mouth, which was perfectly safe because they are just big enough not to swallow or choke on. The parents were happy that it came with not only a bag to put them away, but the bag is a backpack/string bag, so the kid can carry them around if he so chooses. Love it.
