My area has a program through the humane society that will pick the (offten quite a few) animals up at 6 am, and bring them back at 5 pm, all spayed/neutered, shots, basic stuff. This made it through it all. Even though they handle the crates a bit rougher than I would like. I was concerned due to some negative comments in the reviews, but it was incredibly easy to put together, very few parts, and super easy to use, opening the door in either direction with no adjusting. I only needed it for the day, but I'm confident in it's durability and feel like I'll have it even for the next street rescue that comes along!

These arrived in a hurry, GREAT cuz I needed in a hurry. Color as depicted. Price to die for! I zip-tied tops to bottoms in available securing holes for added carrier stability, though no instructions suggested this, and I would recommend it to then be confident these kitty crates do the job. Flat top allows stacking, but wouldn't do more than 3 due to weight AND these don't lock-in or anything so are NOT super solid once stacked, so if you stack your kitties/doggies, be aware that you need to control the stack somehow. (example in a vet's office or kitty/doggie daycare). I look forward to a reason to do business with these guys again!

If anyone has concerns about difficult assembly, DON'T BE. REALLY nice design for minimal hardware and maximum flexibility. Door will hinge either direction and snap lock on top and bottom gate hinge hardware/pieces. Unlike more expensive units having 4+ bolts with plastic screws to hold the top/bottom together, the two front lock/cams hold the unit together securely and allow for simple/quick disassembly. Back and sides of top half have "L" shaped pieces that lock into slotted lower half providing secure attachment with minimal weight and extra hardware. I think the added height will be much enjoyed by my little Chihuahua Lucy. Perfect size !!!!

The front door opens from left to right or right to left so it's great for left handed or right handed people. Also doesn't spontaneously open like some carriers I have had so it keeps your little buddy secure. I purchased this for Churro, our Ferret. He gives it 4 paws up! Plenty of room for our trips to the pet store to get his nails clipped and ears cleaned. Plus I put his blankets in with him to keep him cozy on the car ride. I've received many compliments on the design, color and how sturdy it is. Very easy to assemble and disassemble for those moments when Churro's become overly excited they are going in the car and have an accident. I would highly recommend this carrier.

I agonized over the size and was worried it was going to be too small based on previous reviews. But upon receipt, I was very pleased. My shorthair is a little under $10-lbs and in the photo next to the carrier. Then both my cats decided they both wanted to sleep in it which I didn’t think they’d make it work. Alas I was wrong and thus the second photo! Furthermore, people complained about the door, but this is the same style as an older carrier I have and it hasn’t been problematic so I see no issues with this one. You can make it a swinging door if you don’t open the locks on one side, but it’s just easier to pop it off!

This is a GREAT little pet carrier!! I purchased two of them, They are really worth every penny.!!! Such a great buy and the quality isn't to shabby either. I don't see how folks can give this anything less than 5 stars~ It's super easy to put together, super easy to use. You can open the door from the right side or the left side. {It does NOT open if you unlock the two top gray clip locks to try and allow the door to pull down, Nor will turning both bottom gray clips to try and raise the door open} You will need to turn the gray plastic lock clips to where they are facing you. You will be able to see that it is in the open position when you open the door or get ready to close it. The top and bottom portion of the door will slide into the open gray clip lock. If it doesn't fit right in there, check to make sure it is lined up. To relock the door no matter which side is open. Turn the gray clip locks towards the inside/ middle section of the metal door, basically a half turn. You will hear a little click sound. The two big twist turn locks on either side at the outer center sides they should not be unlocked for any reason once it is put together, unless you are just breaking it back down to put it back like it was shipped to you.

Before I even had this completely put together my cat was inside it. He’s been sleeping in it everyday with the door open. He’s about 13 pounds and the 22in is perfect for him. The locks for the crate are plastic so not certain how long it’ll last but I expected that when purchasing. One review said the whole door falls off when you open it which isn’t true. You can open only one side just like a normal carrier. The back doesn’t have any additional reinforcements to hold it together like the front so I popped some zip ties on there for peace of mind. Overall I really like it and so does my cat.

A lot of people have been giving this product a bad review or saying they don't reccomemd it, but I've found that it suits my needs well enough. I bought it for my rabbit (he's about 3-4 pounds now full grown) when he was young, and he still fits in the 19" with plenty of room. I was wondering if this would hold a 10 pound puppy for the car ride home from the breeder, so I put about 15 pounds inside and carried it around, shook the contents, everything. The kennel stayed sturdy and I don't think it would pop open from the weight. One of the hooks on the top where you can attach straps came off once while it was on the floor, which scared me, but it was fine when I attached a strap and carried it (without a pet, of course, but with some weight). The closures for the door can be somewhat confusing at first, but are actually really simple. If your kennel is falling apart, it likely wasn't put together correctly. Great product for what I payed. (However, it's my understanding that the price increased dramatically after I purchased this product.)

The plastic doesn't feel overly flimsy and my 7 lb cat fits nicely with lots of room to spare. She's very long and tall for a kitten and is about 19 inches from nose to her hind end. I got the 22 inch long crate and I like how the door bows out in the front to allow for more interior space. Its maiden voyage will be an overnight trip for the kitten to be spayed and I feel very confident that she will be safe in this for the duration of her overnight stay. My 12 and 14 lb cats fit in it with just enough room to turn around, but they'll only be in the crate for vet trips (about a 5 minute drive from us) so I'm not concerned about that. I don't think I'll trust the strap attachments with my larger cats, but I tested them and they seem to hold about 20 lbs worth of weight adequately. The "instructions" were very small pictures on a sticker. It was a bit worrisome at first but the pictures at least show which holes the security knobs and door latches go in. I like the simplicity of the door latches in that you can pick which side you want to open the door from. I don't think I would trust this for air travel or long car trips, but this is a good product for a reasonable price, and the best quality I've found for a limited budget.
