100% plug and play. No updates or scripting required to use. Just plug your cable into the adapter and connect your PS4 controller, press the center PS button and you are ready to go. The only drawback is that the Xbox doesn't detect the audio port on your PS4 controller through the adapter, so you will need to continue to use your existing Xbox controller to connect your microphone, unless you utilize a solution that connects to your TV. This, in the grand scheme is a minuscule inconvenience in relation to how simple and easy it is to setup and use this adapter.

I bought this to convert my PS4 fightstick so I wouldn't have to buy one just for an Xbox One. First thing I did was update the firmware of the stick. So far I tested the adapter with the following: 1. Dualshock 4 2. Hori RAP 4 KAI (both PS4 & PS3) 3. Mad Catz MIDI Pro Adapter for PS3 (all three modes) I have not been disappointed by its functionality. The amount of lag produced is so minimal that it's hardly noticeable. My only caveat is that you need to update the converter's firmware, but it's necessary in a world where either Sony or Microsoft can transform any device into a brick just by releasing their own update. And this has happened just recently for the PS4 variants of this converter when firmware 5.50 came out. Another thing I would like to point out is that since the stick is recognized as a Xbox One controller, you can use this on PC as an easy way to play games that require Xinput. The converter is wireless capable, so after pairing feel free to ditch the cable. NOTE: While the number of controllers grows as time passes, not every single controller is supported. Check with the manufacturer’s webpage to find out what is and what isn’t compatible. And if your's isn't listed at all, let them know so that they can test it out.

It works! I can now use my PS4 Controller on Xbox One S! Rumble/Wireless mode works too!! Really liking Xbox now since my preferred controller is PS4. Simple to use. You plug device into Xbox. Then you plug your controller into device using micro usb cord. Press home button on controller. Once it syncs up you can remove usb cord and use your PS4 controller wirelessly on Xbox One, S or X

Works like a charm! Just plugged USB into Xbox one x. Then controller to usb and from there I was able to disconnect and start using wirelessly. So easy, would highly reccomend!

So far its awesome. Plugged it in and my ps4 controller worked right away on xbox one. No menus or anything to deal with. It does offer turbo button mapping for the controllers supported, apparently supports hori rav 4 joystick (didnt test that yet), and you can also remap the buttons apparently. I havent tried out that menu yet, as i just wanted to use my ps4 controller on the upcoming DOOM 2 on Xbox One X, since that version should run the best. I also own most of my fighting games on Xbox One so I would like to try out the fighting stick on there too. I use the stick mostly for emulated arcade games on PC>

The best arcade stick you can buy is the Qanba Dragon. This stick is made for PS3 and PS4. This device allows me to use my arcade stick on my xbox one which is great. The only downside is the price. I know the company has to make money but I think $44 is quite a lot for a usb stick with a driver on it. It works well so I really don't have any complaints. I wish Brook would make an adapter for PS3/PS4 to snes classic so I can use my Qanba Dragon arcade stick on my snes classic. I read the review and was skeptical but there products work well...

Works perfectly fine using my Mad Catz Fightpro Pad for the PS4. Great product. Brook makes great converters. Full video on this on my youtube channel SegaSaturnSNK

After debating between this and Cronusmax, I opted for this solution to use my Dualshock 4 with my X1X. I'm pleased to say that after a little patience and some configuration, this adapter works exactly as intended. If I want to re-sync the XB1 controller, all I have to do is unplug this adapter, re-connect XB1 controller with USB cable press the Home button, and then unplug the USB cable. Voila, all synced up again! This is your go-to if you prefer the Dualshock 4 ergonomics.

I bought this since I was interested in trying arcade sticks / fight sticks for the Xbox one, but there aren't very many options out there for xbox one. I figured it would be more economical to buy a used ps4 fight stick for cheap and then just use it with an xbox one with this converter. The fight stick works fine and I don't notice any lag. I was able to update the firmware successfully by following the instructions on the brook web site. Note that the firmware update needs a ps3/ps4 controller plugged in in order to set the adapter in and out of firmware update mode. The packaging was nice and came with 2 Brook stickers. Some limitations I noticed: 1. The headphone jack on the ps4 controller won't work on the xbox one 2. Brook publishes a list of supported devices on their web site. Make sure your device is supported before buying this. Also make sure your firmware is updated as well. This device costs about as much as a controller for an xbox one (when it's on sale), so I would not recommend buying it just to use a regular ps3/ps4 controller on xbox one. You are better off using an official xbox one controller. I think the xbox one controller was designed very well and don't see any reason to spend so much money to use a ps3/ps4 controller on an xbox one. Also, official xbox one controllers work on Windows 10 PCs without any additional setup needed. I have also tested this with the Mayflash F500 set to DINPUT/PS3 mode and it works.

The controller doesn't charge very well with certain micro USB cables. I charge it separately with a power brick on the side. Ensure to follow instructions exactly (you should have a Windows based computer to accomplish this) to do the update and match your criteria. I am using a PS4 controller on an Xbox One. Works perfectly for MK11.
