Fast, easy setup. Plus I saved $10/month from the ISP The modem the ISP just installed with the new service was a "higher-end" modem that cost twice what this modem did. Ping time is 10ms vs 12ms+ with their modem. Wireless download and upload speed is about 5% better now. DHCP reservation, WPS and WPA2 security config were all super easy to navigate and configure. I would recommend this modem

This cable modem worked as soon as I gave the mac address to my cable carrier. I did have to relocate at some point to be near the cable demark (only 1 wire cable to modem) and that puts it away from the far reaches of the house . We added a network extender and all is well. I did not contact their tech support, only the cable provider.

Easy to install. Just plug it and you got the code of the WiFi in the box. Use it on Xfinity. Great speed. Love it because it's small and powerful, not like the huge boxes they have for renting.

This modem/ router is great! Simple setup. I didn't realize from the description that there were only 2 Ethernet ports. But that's my own fault for not looking out for that. Its cute and small. MUCH better looking than the one provided by Time Warner Cable. I do have one complaint. The sides are basically see through (like perforated?), so when its on (which is basically all the time) you can see the lights not only from the front but from the sides as well. Its fine during the day. But at night, its pretty much a beacon of blue light. I have a rather large living room window, and it feels like its calling people. Like, "Hey these folks in that house have a router you can potentially steal wifi from!"

I bought this so I could quit renting the Comcast modem/router for $10/month. This was easy to set up myself, with a call to Comcast to verify the new equipment. I also called Arris for help with setting up the wifi network info and they were super helpful as well. Added bonus, this is about a 1/4 of the size of the Comcast box! So it's sleek and easy to hide.

I live in a small home and works great. I don't do much of streaming or gaming but do watch Netflix and connect to my cellphone. No connections drop and get all around my home. I have less than 400 megabits for wifi and does the job. Great for the price. Not difficult to install and configure if you know little about computers.

I've had this modem for a couple of years and it's still doing great! The wifi is a little weak as mention in other reviews but I have it connected in bridge mode through an asus router. But i do have it direct connected to my ps4 as well and connections are fast (depending your service)

Got this so I did not have to pay Time Warner Cable their ripoff fee every month. The guys installed everythign seemlesssly and the modem works flawlessly the first time they hooked it up. I have had it for over a month now and even at Time Warner Cables lower service i get speedy downloads and thats with 4 of us in the house. I do not use Time Warner for TV but must admit with this modem we have had no problems...Cant say that about the devilish AT&T!

I've been with Time Warner Cable (now Spectrum) for over a year now, and during my first year I was leasing an Ubee modem/router from the company any paying the $10/mo lease. After my first year my bill jumped up, and obviously I should have just bought my own modem/router from the beginning, but what can I say? I was young and naive back then. After spending weeks trying to figure out the best plan of action (do I buy a modem and a router? should I get one that has wifi built in?) I decided to go with this one. I live in a small apartment and it's just me and my boyfriend who use the wifi on our phones to stream to the google chast on our tv, and after installing it yesterday (very simply and easy) it's been running amazing! I was a bit concerned at first because this is a very small modem, and it gets warm fast, but nothing a little fan can't fix if it ever gets to that point (I mean, do these things overheat like a laptop? probably not). Anyway, I'm returning my stupid leased modem back to time warner today and couldn't be more excited! I recommend.

I live in a motorhome in a long term rental RV park. My neighbor and I decided to split the cost of an internet cable service. This modem and router work just fine for us. The modem and router are in his RV and my internet devices are 30 feet away. My connection to our shared network is very strong.
