I have had no trouble with it.. it is plugged into my USB hub, and runs perfectly. It moves a good amount of air and is quiet. It does several hours of non-stop work daily. I use it to add additional cooling to my laptop, and it does help lower the temperature between 5 and 10 degrees, depending on the load in the CPU ... an added benefit is that it makes enough air movement to help cool me as well.. Would not hesitate to purchase again if the need arises.

I live off-grid in Haiti and the summer months are brutal; especially when sleeping under a mosquito net with your wife and child. A10k mAh will run this all night. I would give more stars if possible. Best usb fan on the market and believe me, I've tried many. I have 9 of them, bought over the course of 2 years. All of them still run. Some tweeking to keep them in good condition but the hardware never fails. My best recommendation is to get this fan and a separate power bank. Buying integrated products (rechargable fans, power banks with lights or solar panels, etc) are usually too gimmicky to be durable and a useful investment. When living so far away from home and needing something that will always work, get this fan, an Anker brand power bank, and any other attachments you may need (usb light, solar panel, etc). I promise you will be not only impressed but the next reviewer to say this product is a worthy investment.

To the people who think this fan doesn't move any air: either you are too far from it (it is a personal fan after all, not a room fan) or the blades are not bent properly to catch the air (that's conjecture on my part) which is fixable. Or else you are expecting too much from a small personal fan. I bought this for my husband's home office since we had an unusual, hot summer in LA. He loves it and so do I when I am on his laptop. When we started it up initially, there was a momentary clicking sound which indicated that at least one fan blade was hitting the grill. I took a tiny Phillips head screwdriver, removed the front grill, held the motor area so as not to twist or damage it, and bent the blade back a little. Oh first I had taken a pencil or something and slowly moved the blades around so I could see which and how many where hitting the grill. Then I gently bent them back a little. The fan is perfect now. A small price to pay for an inexpensive, compact cooler-offer. We really needed it this summer. Wish I'd bought it sooner! I also like that it does not take up an outlet space.

Needed a USB fan for at work to help keep the air flowing in my cubicle. I ordered this one, over the one's at BB& B or the other ones online because I have an over-whelming love for pink. This fan is powerful for it's size, and doesn't take up a lot of space. It does make a little bit of a whirr* noise, but it's pretty quiet and non-obtrusive. I just wish it had more settings than just on/off.

I spent some time looking for a small desk top fan for a very specific purpose. I go walking for 20 minutes daily during my break and when I get back to my office, I am usually warm and want to cool down but I don't want to blow all my desk papers around. I had this exact style fan but where it plugs into an outlet and it was just the right amount of air, however, the cord wouldn't reach from the plug to my desk so I couldn't angle the air to reach my face and upper torso. When I saw this fan which is powered by USB, I figured it would work perfectly since I have a USB multi port charger right on my desk. I was correct! This worked absolutely perfectly. It's small so I can find a spot for it right on my desk and the cord easily reaches the charger. The amount of air was sufficient to cool me off in about 5 minutes. I never would have thought about buying a USB fan but this is just perfect for my needs.

I bought this 4" table fan because my work area sometimes gets stuffy, and I just need a little air movement. It is BETTER than I expected - it is quiet, doesn't take up much space, and recharges easily at a USB port. (It also comes in different colors - mine is turquoise.) if you're looking for a small quiet fan, this is the one to get. **I wrote that review sometime last summer, and as the weather has begun heating up this year (5/17), I've been thinking for the last month or so that I really should write another review about my OPOLAR fan. It's small, quiet, attractive, and totally effective at moving just enough air in whatever direction you choose - this will enable you to delay turning on your A/C for several hours. This has been especially helpful for me, since for the past year I have been suffering from some really vicious hot flashes! I can turn the fan on and off with a flick of the finger as needed. For comfort and convenience this fan cannot be surpassed. Just an update from October of 2017 - this fan is still going strong - still keeping the air moving - still quiet, and still one of the best deals on Amazon; if you’re thinking about buying one, make it this one!

It's the perfect size for an office, although oddly it was a little smaller than I was expecting. Not that this is a product flaw, I just don't read dimensions when I look at a product. Provides a breeze and keeps air circulating on hot days without disturbing co-workers. And, my boss, who is always worried about us shorting out the power in the office (understandably) has no issues with it as it plugs directly into the tower for my PC. The perfect small space solution.

Bought this for a coworker. Passing meds in a nursing home can get really hot. This fan doesn't take up much room on the cart, it plugs into the usb on the lap top, doesn't make much noise and provides just enough wind to keep us comfortable. I've made sure all the nurses on the floor have one, and they all agree this fan is great. Even the aides will come stand by the cart to cool off between rooms sometimes. Oh...and the powder blue is so pretty...it coordinates with her cell cover and water bottle so that was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it for any situation where you need some air flow to keep you sane.

I have this fan at my desk at work. It's quiet enough that it doesn't bother my coworkers, even in an open office environment, and I can angle it directly at my face when I get hot. It's also cute and small. I have a small desk and it doesn't clutter it up. Picture for scale.
