Absolutely perfect for Push 2!
Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic stand for any laptop, but it's an even better stand for the Push 2. I've spent the past week looking for the most cost friendly, durable stand that money can buy for the Push 2. I just wasn't interested in spending over a hundred for a custom made wooden one from Berlin or wherever those units are made. I was at first worried about two things- would this stand slip? And was it too large for the Push 2? I was thrilled when I found out the answers to these 2 questions. This stand can withstand the constant pressure being applied to the Push 2 and doesn't slip. If you are looking for more resistance, feel free to add little feet to this unit or some rubber pads. It's good without, even better with. This unit has 4 small corner pads that help prevent slipping. Additionally, this thing fits the Push 2 like a charm. I was even wondering, was this made for the Push 2? Silly thinking, but it's true! Absolutely recommend! Sorry for sideways photo's but Amazon is not cooperating with my image uploader :(

Great price to securely tilt your laptop!
This is a great laptop stand if that is your purchase reason. I read a few reviews and I think some purchasers bought this for the wrong purpose, so here is my take on it. This is an ideal stand for desktop usage when one likes a laptop slightly raised in the back or when one uses a separate keyboard/mouse and wants to prop it up higher to have the screen at eye-level. It also ensures the laptop doesn't slide around on the desk. Pluses - Sturdy, with pads in the right places. - It give passive cooling because of the grid. - highest setting puts screen at eye level, camera at face height. - keeps laptop in one place for those of us who tend to push and pull it over the course of a day. - perfect size for 15-inch laptop. Unboxing, it is lightweight with a rattly metal feel. Set up on the desk, at the highest setting, it is solid and confidence-inspiring. No worries about scratching my painted wood desk or my aluminum Macbook, as there were generous, nicely placed pads on the bottom of the device and on the front tabs. I think there are better choices if you're specifically looking for a passive cooler on your lap. I would never use this directly on my lap - it's metal! I use the Xpad Slim when I game on my laptop in front of the TV, either in my lap or on a small computer table. But definitely, if you want to tilt your laptop on a flat surface, this baby does it nicely for under $20. A great buy for the price!

Great Stand
AmazonBasics Ventilated Adjustable Laptop Stand. I use two of these to angle my usb 61key music keyboard to provide a nice angle for playing. I put a shelf across my keyboard stand then sat two of these on the shelf. Then I put my keyboard on the stands, works perfectly. As a Computer and a IT Specialist I also recommend this stand for laptop computers for ventilation and better typing angle which can save on wrist strain. The worst thing you can do is sit your laptop on a bed, couch, carpeted floor or any other soft surface including your legs as it can block off the vents for the fans that cools your cpu. If you don’t have proper ventilation it could cause your laptop burn up.

Sorry I waited so long to buy this.
Great product. Puts the laptop at a usable angle and the mesh frame permits the computer fans to work OK. I agree with other reviewers that the raised metal keepers will interfere with your wrists and hands on the keyboard, but found a solution in the laptop stand's packaging. When you open the product there is a cardboard insert inside the frame. Remove the two edges from the cardboard and place them on the frame above the keepers. They are already the correct width and will raise your laptop just high enough to that your hands clear the keepers and the laptop stays secure. Depending on the thickness of your laptop, only one piece of cardboard may be required, mine needed the two.

Perfect laptop stand to elevate screen height, improve posture. No front tab issues.
After finding my back shoulder blades occasionally hurting, I realized I was not in good posture having to crane my head down to read things on my laptop. That was causing me to slouch my back. I ordered the AmazonBasics Ventilated Adjustable Laptop Stand after reading the reviews. I was a little concerned about the two front tabs that keep the laptop in place as some people said the tabs were jutting out, which would interfere with their hands while typing. Well, I don't have that problem, as you can see in the photos. The base of my laptop is about 1 inch thick, so it is not super thin. However, with the incline of the keyboard when the laptop is on the stand, you will find that the keys on the keyboard don't require your hands and forearms to be flat. That may address the front tab issue for many. Just in case the tabs pose an issue, like many other people, you could just place some cardboard strips on the front to elevate the front side just enough so that the tabs are not an issue. In any case, I am happy with this purchase. The ventilated stand came nicely packed and it looks fairly strong and durable. It has multiple adjustable heights so I can now look at my screen directly straight -- no more slouching. Typing on the inclined keyboard is not very different but it will take my forearms some getting used to. The stand also makes it easier to slide the laptop on the desk, to bring it closer or move it back. All in all, an excellent buy. This is a 100% authentic review. I was not paid or promised anything in return.

It works perfectly for an ableton push 2 controller riser!
It works perfectly for an ableton push 2 controller riser! After seeing a review on YouTube about this product as a rider for a drum machine I have to say it works perfectly for a rider for the push 2. I'm currently using the Pyle pro dj laptop stand ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004HJ1ZB8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1493234818&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=dj+laptop+stand+foldable&dpPl=1&dpID=41ZWNL24ehL&ref=plSrch ) on my desk that is 19" deep and it works perfectly with access to all the encoders on the and the drum pads with room to move on the mesh stands lowest setting! I just put a couple of rubber feet on the bottom of the mesh stand so it wouldn't slide around and I could put the Apple Bluetooth keyboard right in front so I didn't have to use the keyboard on the laptop while sitting! Highly recommend this product for the push 2. I was worried that the fingers that hold the front of the push would be above the midi device, but that isn't the case, they sit a couple mm below the surface of the push, see pics!

Great stand for the money
I love my laptop stand! I am typing my review while my laptop is on the stand. I love this thing! Did I say that already? Its pros are: 1. It holds up very well. I have had this since this summer, and I have not had a problem with it at all. 2. It has many different positions so that you can have your laptop at any angle you like. It's perfect for keeping the monitor at the correct level to be ergonomic. 3. It helps keep the laptop from running too hot. It works well for this purpose, and there is even room enough for me to put a small fan in there. 4. It is inexpensive so that it won't kill your budget. The con(s) are (is): 1. It could be a little bit wider. I have a 17-inch laptop, and it does hang off the sides. 2. The tabs that hold your laptop in place are a little bit too tall. I tend to end up resting my wrists on there sometimes, and it's not overly comfortable. They are padded, though, so they do protect your laptop from damage. Those cons are not enough for me to have taken off that fifth star. Overall, it's been a great little stand! I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if I needed to.

AT LAST . . . ONE THAT 'WORKS'
With an Income Tax Preparation practice I'm on my laptop 10 hours a day entering data. Using the laptop keyboard and mouse pad on the flat and level angle that laptops offer is stressful. An elevated keyboard serves the purpose of 'tilting' the keyboard into a natural position for typing. This AmazonBasic Ventilated and Adjustable laptop stand is perfect and produces the effect of a typewriter slant for those who grew up on IBM Selectrics or Royals. Fully adjustable for just about any angle you are comfortable with. Well made, light weight and it looks as a 'piece of the laptop' in sight. One small warning: the tabs on the front end that keep your laptop from sliding off may be a bit short for some laptops. The tabs rise only .75 of an inch (3/4"). My current, and several past laptops, the front sits 1.0 inches (1") at top front but slanting down at .75 of an inch (3/4") inward. The slant keeps the tabs on the stand from holding the laptop in place - causing the laptop to slip down and off. Simple solution to this: Binder Clips. Use the medium size binder clip, one on each of the stand tabs. You can find 'binder clips' on the Amazon web site. A box is under $4 but you only need 2 medium binder clips so . . . check with a school teacher or office worker and get two for free. Other than that, the right tool at the right price. Buy one and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did.

Adjustable height, works great as a stand
This works great as a laptop stand and has several adjustable height options. The only issue with adjusting the height is that the higher you set it, then the keyboard/monitor angle on the laptop will change and can be unusable to type on. I have mine set to the highest setting -- 7.5in off the desk on the back end, 1.25in off on the front end. It's lowest height setting would be 2in on the back end; the front end doesn't adjust and remains at 1.25in from the top of the desk to the top edge of the laptop. I use this to have my laptop's monitor at the same level as my regular monitor in a "dual monitor"-like setup. My laptop is roughly an inch thick and the front "stops" on the stand have kept the laptop from sliding down or out. This stand is durable enough to withstand my heavy/large beast-of-a-laptop. It also provides excellent ventilation around & underneath the laptop to prevent overheating. Underneath the laptop at its highest setting, was room for me to stash a USB hub and some cords. The back of the stand has these slots in which a small rubber cord organizer/holder slides into, but the organizer constantly popped out so it was useless for me. Overall, this stand was inexpensive and worth the money.; it serves my needs as expected. (See photos for details.) FYI -- If you are considering to use this as a lap-desk or tablet stand -- I highly recommend you find something that's more suited/built for that particular purpose. This thing is not comfy to sit on your lap nor on any soft or movable surfaces such as a bed, pillow, or couch. A tablet would more than likely slide down the surface -- through the gap between the front stops (which are almost 8.5in apart). This is a laptop stand & nothing more.

Great adjustment angles! Laptop Runs Super Cool! No Vibration and Sturdy!
Can't seem to say enough about this awesome stand. This allows me to utilize my laptop monitor and a second flawlessly. The cord keep on the back is great as well. I am about to purchase another monitor and with the choices of adjustment angle, this stand should place the two screens side by side perfectly for that one as well. There is no vibration through the metal as the contacts on the bottom are padded. The fan on my laptop almost never comes on even during day long uploads to the cloud due to this stand having it suspended in air on mesh. Very, very glad I made this purchase. Easily worth much more than I paid, the options for adjustment angles are ample, and lets my expensive baby run cool. Buy with confidence!
