This product is amazing. Personally, I'm always skeptical about making a purchase because I want it to be a quality one. So naturally, I was skeptical about this light. I received it 2 days later thanks to prime shipping and it comes well packaged, very secure. I set up the neck in the position I want it, plugged it in and was impressed at the design and touch controls. I turned it on and was delighted from the bright white light that it sets off. I needed a light for my room that could bounce off walls a little, but nothing too bright like a ceiling light. I like to keep my room a bit shady. I have it on low and when setting it to the highest setting it can get bright enough to light up my whole room. I can even read from across the room where the lamp is set. I've attached some pictures so you can see the difference between the lowest setting and the highest setting. If you look carefully, the first photo is the highest setting and the 2nd is the lowest. Maybe my iPhone doesn't catch it too well, but the light is a nice white light and it bounces off the walls well. It also doesn't give me any eye strain when doing school work. I should also add that it can last up to something like 50,000 hours. If you do that math, its something like 5 and a half years! Good product! Buy and you won't be disappointed.

I’m going to review the questions I had about this lamp when I bought it. This lamp is so reasonably priced I was afraid it might look cheap, but it doesn’t at all. The lamp head and the base are a shiny black hard plastic and the goose neck is covered in a nice smooth rubber coating. I was so frustrated with my current bedside lamp, I couldn’t turn it on without stretching real far. My new desk lamps on and off switch is at the base of the lamp which makes it so convenient I only have to move my hand over to reach it (I'm adding a photo of my night stand with the old lamp next to the new one). The lamp is pretty light, yet it stands up well without tipping over unless you rotate the goose neck to the side, then it gets off balance, but there’s no need to do that since you can easily turn the whole lamp. The goose neck rotates the head backwards and the lamp maintains perfect balance that way as well. There are rubber discs on the bottom to keep the lamp from sliding too easily. This lamp is about 14” high. The light is bright enough to make reading in bed easy but the light is concentrated enough not to bother my husband next to me (see photo). I love the easy to dim feature, it makes getting up in the middle of the night much nicer since I can turn on the dim light and not disturb my husband. Making it brighter is easy too, you just slide your finger across the base to gradually dim or brighten the light. Or you can tap it to one of 6 settings along the dashes - - - - - printed on the base. The lamp needed no assembly other than plugging in the power adapter. It is not battery powered, which is something I wondered. There is a booklet included in the box with info on the lamp and a contact phone number, website and email address for the manufacturer in case there are questions (yay). I saw questions about using this lamp in an art studio. I’m an artist so I can address some of those questions. It doesn’t sit very high or put light out in a large range, but for close up work it would be great. For a small painting I wouldn’t hesitate to use it, to me it’s close to the spectrum light I use in my studio now, it doesn’t put out too much blue or too much yellow. There is no way to change the bulb but the book says the light will last “up to 50,000 hours”. Over all I’m very happy with this as a bedside lamp and I know it would make a great desk lamp. I may get another to use in my studio when I am doing small works of art because I can move it around to get shadows out of my way.

I've been looking at various goose-neck LED desklamps so snapped this one up in the Black Friday sale. I love it! I can point it directly at the book or art project and can adjust the amount of light as needed. It's MUCH easier on my eyes than my old florescent desk lamp! Really pleased with this one, and I recommend it. One tip: turning the lamp off was slightly tricky, and not well documented. You need to press and hold the power icon side of the touch screen.

I don't often leave 5-star reviews. I'm very pleased with the quality of this product for the price paid. Normally a $25 lamp would be junk. This is well made and is what I expect to get for the price of a half day's worth of work for some folks. Touch interface: The touch sensor is very easy to use to turn on/off, change lamp hues, or dim. All three settings have their own 'button'. There is an led indicator that dims after a bit for the brightness level, so you slide side to side to use that one. The other two are simple on/off taps. The base does not have any wall mounting holes if you are looking for that, but it's low profile and a slide in wall mount could easily be built for it. ADA: The controls are flat, touch-based me not raised, so someone hard of seeing would have to learn where the controls are to use it. You can sort of feel the sticker for seers, but a braille style pattern would be an excellent improvement. Someone with a fine motor disability in their hands would probably find this easy to use if you can swipe side to side. Weight: It is very light overall, so it may fail over easily. It would be portable if it didn't have a clunky a/c plug. Battery or rechargeable option would be a nice improvement, but for the price, I'll can just buy a few more. Height: You can bend about an inch from the lamp along the neck. Overall, the lamp is pretty low at about 15" tall if you bend as soon as possible and leave the rest straight up and down. Gooseneck: The 15" gooseneck (top of base to lamp) is very easy to bend. Most goosenecks are impossible to position. This one is not going to fight you, but still stays where you put it. It has a soft, smooth rubbery feel to it. It doesn't really turn all the way around if you want to use it as a wall light during the day to brighten a dark corner of the room. You can of course turn the base, though. Lighting: The dimmest setting on the lowest light is less intrusive than most of my low-lumen lightbulbs and I could use it to read in the dark without feeling blinded. I do wish it dimmed a little more for an ambiance mode, but I'm photosensitive, so it's probably just me. The brightest setting is reasonably bright for a desk or other setting where you need bright, semi-focused light (it's comes out from the head at about 140 degrees from the head or so in terms of coverage, if I had to guess). Couple of gotchas: -The base is very light, so it won't stand up if you bend it totally left or right at the middle. Use common physics sense and you'll be fine. -the adapter wall plug is a block type, though it works fine upside down on a USA outlet.

Can't do any better for the price. I bought 1 to replace a cheaper model, and it has worked so well I bought a second and just now a 3rd. AS one reviewer said, even the lowest setting is too much for a night light, but I have one on my computer station, and one in the bedroom for the stereo and reading, and now on my hobby desk replacing an ancient Halogen lamp that occupies twice the space, gets very hot, and burns 5 times the power. I love the flex hinge at the top, and the solid post keeps it all in place. HIGHLY recommended by me - retired QA manager from aerospace and marine industry. I know a good product when I see it.

I’ve bought three of these so far. Edited: Make that FOUR desk lamps so far! Here’s what’s so great about this lamp: It doesn’t just dim, it changes the hue of the color from cool to warm. I hated led lights when they first came out because I can’t stand that blue cringe streetlamp color the marketing spin-doctors promoted as a positive thing. There was nothing positive about it. It was simply the only color they could get out of the infant technology, so they had to promote its drawbacks as a positive. They do the same thing with low-tech things like kale. Anyways, now the industry can make that warm lamp color reminiscent of the energy sucking incandescent lamps of my halcyon childhood. Not that is was all good, as I had a maiden aunt whose home smelled of roasted chestnuts and cinnamon cookies on one side, but an overflowing cat litter box and broken dreams on the other... But the warm lighting in her home was comforting and inspirational even though she hung a picture of the tortured face of our Lord and Savior right next to the television the day she caught me staring at the scrambled image of the Spice Channel. Good times... These lamps remind me of those... So, I bought three so far. Edit: Make that four.

This is much more than I expected it to be! It's a very sleek and beautiful lamp, well-covered to protect the finish and well-packed inside the manufacturer's box. And... it comes with a user manual. It started instantly, and just as advertised -- the light is easy to adjust. This is a non-flickering light (thank you!) and perfect for using for coloring with professional artist pencils (my hobby!). I almost didn't select this one after reading comments about it tipping over easily. The base is heavy enough to keep it from tipping in any direction, so I don't understand what circumstances would have warranted those comments. Thank you for a lovely product, which I highly recommend!

I've been looking for a good Desk lamp for awhile now. I saw this advertised on an Amazon Black Friday sale and figured I'd give it a try. I'm really glad I did. Pros: I've had it for about a week now and I'm impressed with the quality and the look. The lamp works exactly as it suppose to with no apparent faults. This surprised me because I didn't expect such good quality for $20 dollars. Most of the stuff on Amazon seems to be cheaply made Chinese products that will attempt to murder you in some way but not this lamp. I also left it on for 48 hours on max brightness to test to see if it becomes too hot as some reviewers have stated. I checked it every few hours and it was never hotter then lukewarm. I'm a veteran and wake up many times during the night due to bad dreams and the dimming feature comes in really handy for when I don't want to wake my girlfriend. I also like that the lamp turns on with the lowest light setting. Cons: The only thing that could make this product better is if it were slightly taller. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better lamp under $75.

I really, really like this little lamp. From the picture, I thought it would be bigger, but I actually like the smaller size. It fits perfectly in the space I have for it. I did not want a lamp that had to be recharged or had to plug into a USB port, this lamp plugs into the wall and I don't have to worry about making sure it is charged for my next use. I also like having the option of different levels oft brightness - from bright to dim. It came quickly and well boxed. I highly recommend and would purchase again.

I purchased this lamp to replace a RealSpace LED lamp from Office Depot that suddenly failed a few months beyond its 3-year warranty. I use it on my computer desk which sits in our kitchen and is the hub of all things administratively related in our household. The top of my desk is often jammed with new projects just added, finished projects needing to be filed, and many works in progress. Good illumination is essential! This lamp arrived extraordinarily well packaged. Every exposed surface was carefully wrapped in plastic and fit into a sturdy protective box. The cord is a practical length. The narrow profile of the shade is completely unobtrusive sitting next to my computer monitor, but it throws enough light to cover my entire desk top even when no other light is on in the kitchen. The color of the bulbs is clear and natural with no flickering, and I really like the dimmer feature, which my former lamp did not have. Since the lamp base is flat, I can set a small desk item on it (a photo frame) which makes the lamp super space efficient in my opinion. The lamp competes favorably price-wise with similar LED desk lamps I checked out at our local department stores before ordering this one, and of all the ones I looked at, this one was the most attractive. If it lasts as promised, I will remain totally satisfied with this super little desk lamp!
