It's the perfect GoPro for beginners. The LCD touch is simple to use and also you can connect to the GoPro App or GoPro Remote Control. The battery is attached inside the camera (it don't remove), but you can use an external battery connecting in the back of the camera.

Hubby was very happy when he opened this on Christmas morning. He's still "learning" and is an offshore boat captain. He wants to show the family what he does for a living. I think we will all end up seasick!!

Great video in all conditions

It's a good quality product and takes great videos and pictures. We brought it to Maui with us and used it under water a number of times and it performed reliably. It helps to have a video screen so we can review the images right away and confirm we have what we want.

I had received a competitor action camera as a gift for Christmas (an Amazon best seller) and was wholly disappointed. The previous camera had terrible battery life, unfriendly user interface and the associated phone app was worthless. This GoPro is not the most current but gives plenty of value. Shoots great pictures and video. Has good battery life and the phone app can control the entire camera. Camera connects and maintains a strong WiFi signal. There is a reason GoPro camera cost more than their competitors, it's because they are worth every extra cent.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas, which was risky because she's not a real "techie" person... She loves it!

Love it!

We love our GoPro. We took it on our Carribean Cruise in February and had a blast with it. We took amazing pictures and videos while scuba diving, snorkeling, riding the jet ski. Easy to use for us middle-agers who are not so tech-savvy.

Everything i need and more

Great camera. This is my 2nd gopro. I got this for the ability to edit and delete on the go.this and the hero+ are both Bluetooth enabled so you can edit/delete and change the settings from your phone. Only difference is the screen and price. Either one would be good.

I have had no problems and really enjoy/ feel better having it

I have this side mounted on my LS2 modular motorcycle helmet. I have had no problems and really enjoy/ feel better having it. Had it in the river while playing. Only gripe I would have is there is no real good place to teether it. I ran fishing line through the door hinge to a loop in my helmet lining. Still working on a better set up.

We used one of GoPro templates and it turned out awesome.

I bought this model for my ten year old daughter and we used the free editing software and had a movie made within a few hours. There is definitely a learning curve on the software, but a little patience, which I don't have much of, will propel you to movie making. She is thrilled and can't stop watching her own movie. We used one of GoPro templates and it turned out awesome.
