Most reliable carbonated water making system.

Item works great. Very well built and high quality. Very easy to use. No more rusts in the container nor problems with the 8g chargers gas leaking out resulting in wasting the charger cartridge and low carbonation. This item gives a consistent amount of carbonation from each 8g charger. The stainless steel bottle is very sturdy and can be left in the freezer when not in use. It's worth the time and money to spend a bit more and get the Mastrad Purefizz. I had the Hamilton Beach Fizzini Hand-Held Carbonated Soda Maker for a couple of years and the Fizzini has nothing going for it except for the price. You would have to re-purchase the Fizzini almost yearly and scrub rust out of the plastic bottles of the Fizzini every couple of months. The Fizzini is mostly plastic and the seals aren't as well designed. You'll waste more time and money with the Fizzini head rusting up and the washer going bad and making the 8g charge cartridges leaking CO2. Stay away from the Fizzini. I've been using this Mastrad Purefizz for over a month and it's been working flawlessly and hassle free so far.

Perfect solution to my carbonated water addiction.

A friend of mine recommended this product, and I love it. I can adjust the carbonation to my liking, and it's easy to find cheap CO2 cartridges. Happy to have found a way to reduce my waste. No more plastic, and I can recycle the cartridges. Highly recommended.

Wonderful way to get the fizz of soda without all the bad stuff

I purchased one of these several years ago, along with one of those with the nozzle and trigger. This is by far the better option. I gave that other one away and purchased another of these to keep at my "home away from home". The chargers are inexpensive, and I find I drink far more water now than I used to. As for sodas? I haven't had one in years, and don't miss them. If you, like me, realize that what you are really after with sodas is the fizzy sensation, then you will probably love this. It's easy to use, but don't over-tighten the cap. You'll destroy your O-ring on the charging cap faster. Speaking of which: You need to keep the O-rings on both caps lubricated with some food-safe lubricant to keep it from pinching and breaking. Even then, it could still wind up getting pinched and render the entire product inoperable. Customer service did a great job of sending me a replacement a few years back, but I've had to request another one now for the second one I purchased, and who knows whether the experience will be the same. I wish they simply sold replacement O-rings here on Amazon. I noticed that the inside of the bottle had some miscoloration. I don't really think it's rust, but to be on the safe side if I don't use the bottle for a day or so I leave it upside down in my dish rack just to make sure water isn't sitting in it. Clearly the inside is NOT "stainless" steel (but the outside sure seems like it is---there's been no rust or discoloration there on either of the bottles I own. So, despite the issues, this is a 5-star life-changing item for me. I even take it with me on road trips so that I don't have to do without while travelling.
