This item has proven to be a great little asset in our church's nursing home ministry, where we take it along to go out and visit the elderly. It's light but sturdy, comes with a helpful carrying pouch, and can be unpacked and set up in a matter of seconds, no complicated assembly at all. Highly recommended, we've been using it for half a year or so and have no regrets with it.

What's to not like about this product? I bought this for a new creative writing and poetry meetup group for aspiring writers which has recently included out-loud readings. And kind of dramatic reading or recitation just is not the same when sitting down, compared with standing at a podium. So I wanted to get a podium that was both portable and sturdy, and I do mean sturdy enough to actually lean on, even for a 5'10" 185lb guy like me. This product does the trick, and nicely so. I'm not sure what sort of wood makes up the fold-able top, but it's thick nice looking and sturdy, as is the entire structure. And the whole unit only takes 20 seconds to unpack and assemble. Aside from the sturdiness of the product, I would say the very best thing about it is the portability and the thick canvas tote bag that comes with it. The bag is built to contain both the podium top and the stand in separate compartments. I can tell a lot of forethought has gone into this one, and I hope that the company does well because of it.

Wow! I love this concept. I do a lot of trade shows and sometimes need a place for a guest book or to display a book. I was truly amazed at the simple design of this podium and how it folded up into a very easy to transport and store podium. Comes with it's own carrying bag with a special sleeve for the wooden top. Comes with Velcro so that you can place a banner on the front if you so desire. I ended up purchasing a second unit. Very pleased with the ease of setup and it's sleek design.

Looks great. Very solid and yet portable.

This works very well for my needs in a college classroom; very sturdy, and very quick and easy to set up and take down. I drape a black tablecloth over it (over the legs, under the wood top) to make it a little less distracting, and the magnets are strong enough to connect through the fabric and hold everything in place. It does have velcro on the front at the top and bottom for a banner, but a banner is not included. It would be perfect it it had a fitted cover that wrapped around the legs and attached to the wood with velcro. Oh well., still a great product. One note: I thought it was broken when it first arrived because parts of the legs slide up and down and make a rattling noise when the lectern is in the compressed position. It isn't broken, that's just the way it works, but if you bought it and didn't know that or figure it out, you might end up returning a perfectly good lectern as "defective."

I received the umbrella which I love and am enjoying it. I also received the Display Podium Folding Lectern, and am very pleased with it. I have not to date received the three folding fans and therefore, cannot give an opinion.

Was an ideal pulpit for an impromptu wedding ceremony performed last weekend. Put it together with a mic in one hand, it pops right up, magnets strong enough to lift the legs when just holding the wooden top. Even comes with Velcro for attaching a banner or other display to the front of the podium.
