Hello I purchased the seeds for the owner of a Hostel in David, Panama. The name of the Hostel is Pacasa. The owner is Josee. She requested me to bring flower seeds to her as I traveled to Panama in June/July of tbis year. She will be planting tbem with the expectation of brightening up the yard and the Hostel area. You will find "Picasa' on the Internet under Hostels, Panama. She was very happy to receive the very nicely packaged seeds. Thank you. G. Jacob Billger

I planted these in early April... took a while for them to come up for some reason... my tallest is 9ft... with the biggest head... I loved growing them this year!!

Got my seeds in the mail today. After reading reviews, I was afraid the package would only hold a couple hundred seeds. I opened the pack and immediately thought there couldn't possibly be 1,000 seeds in there. So, I commenced counting. I counted out 100 seeds and then made similar sized piles with the rest of the seeds. Not exactly accurate, but I estimate there are at least 1,000 seeds in the package, maybe more. I attached photos. The pile on the bottom left is exactly 100 seeds. I'm excited to see what grows from these little seeds. I've planted 2 rounds of sunflowers already this year and I absolutely love looking at them. Update: From planting to flowering took about 5-6 weeks. I still have flowers after 8 weeks. None of the ones I planted ended up being very tall at all, maybe 2.5 feet at the tallest. Update: planted more of these seeds the following year earlier in the season and in a much sunnier place. Now I have sunflowers over 6 feet tall.

I have an 8 foot by 350 foot ditch along my fence. I grew tired of weed whacking it. So i roto tilled the entirety of the ditch and planted 2 packets of these sunflowers for a total of 2000 seeds. In the front foot of the ditch (closest to the road), I planted 500 love lies bleeding amaranth. So far I'm seeing excellent germination, and I look forward to seeing the flowers. I've done this before with excellent success and I was very happy to find a sunflower mix with so many varieties. Ill update with pictures when everything is in bloom.

I've been ordering from Seed Needs for a few years and good a bumper crop of sunflowers this year with some simple steps - 1) Soak Overnight 2) Keep wet in folded paper towel for a couple days until they sprout 3) Plant in a place where you can cover your planter with netting to keep birds from snacking on them (this is where I've failed in the past - birds eating the sprouted seeds) 4) Once they are tall enough seedlings to touch the netting, remove it. They should be well on their way. 5) shake off ants regularly to discourage aphids. 6) They Love water and when watered properly, they can last for days. I hope you enjoy all the varieties as much as I am!

I purchased these seeds for Earth Day. The students at school planted the sunflowers and I am happy to say the plants are alive and well. The students love seeing things grow. Thanks for making a quality product with beautiful photos on the seed packets.

These sunflowers made my summer. I posted one photo of one of the variety that grew, but there were many more gorgeous varieties that grew from the packet I purchased. This is a great company that sells legitimate seeds that grow many many sunflowers. I have so many bees and butterflies and even hummingbirds that have flocked to these flowers all summer. I will definitely be buying more for my garden next year. Thank you!!! Well worth the price.

I purchased 2 packs of the 1,000 very last minute to use as part of the thank you gifts for my son and his fiance's thank you gifts for their wedding shower. I say last minute because we weren't sure exactly what we were going to do, then when we decided, we couldn't find enough seeds to be able to give away to each guest for a decent price. We wound up with a few leftovers, and decided to plant them. In less than a week, we had sprouts. Now the plants are growing by leaps and bounds. We are enjoying the new additions of sunflowers to our garden, and plan to have more next year. Thank you!!

Love these seeds... they bring such a variety of beautiful colors. I ordered them again this year after such a great experience last year 🌻 I highly recommend! (And I have zero experience as a gardener btw!) See pictures:

This is the second year in a row I've bought this mix of 1000 sunflower seeds. I scatter them down the side of my driveway and sit back and enjoy. There are short ones, giant ones, bright yellow ones, rusty red ones! I love their cheerfulness, as does my granddaughter ("yeyow fowas!") and all the neighbors.
