Excellent tool to protect waterproof camera when you are careless

Worked perfectly. First thing I did was test the wrist float to be sure it would bring my camera to the surface if I lost hold of it. It did. The float also fits firmly on the wrist, so the likelihood of having it fall off my wrist is negligible. Nothing short of abject carelessness will cause it to fall off. Nice product and well worth what I paid for it. (Another swimmer near me didn't have one of these and lost his GoPro. Bummer for him.)

This wrist band really floats

I have used this twice when going snorkeling. I would keep my underwater camera on my arm and pull it off when seeing a picture I wished to take. One time I looked over to see my Comi Tech underwater camera bobbing in the water. Without me knowing it, the camera had slipped off my arm. Thankfully, due to the wrist band's floating ability, I was able to quickly retrieve it. I also like the fact that I can easily unclip the floating part if I am simply going to be carrying the camera around on dry-land activities. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Great Performance and Durability

This camera float performed better than I expected- it successfully floated my GoPro , plus the optional LCD screen and water proof camera housing very capably. It will fit any size wrist very comfortably, and is designed so that you can grasp and manipulate your camera while the float is still on your wrist. Well-made and durable-has lasted all summer without fraying or fading, and withstands having the moisture squeezed out of the wrist/float portion without any problems. Have also used the float as a general wrist strap for my GoPro as it is comfortable, flexible and durable enough to use to carry my GoPro around during different activities. I would recommend this product for anyone looking to accommodate a GoPro-type camera under, in and out of the water.

Such a great little banana-looking thing.

This was exactly what I was looking for. For a trip where I was going to be spending a lot of time in and near water, I wanted something that I could use to protect my device from drowning. I purchased a LifeProof FRE case for my phone, and separately bought this beauty. On the FRE case, there's a little loop that fit this wristband perfectly. It really does work, even for an iPhone X weighed down by a heavy duty case. While snorkeling/diving, I'd simply pull this little yellow fellow through one of the belt loops of my swimming shorts and swim away. It really is worth it!

Great value

We are using this on our underwater camera for scuba. I have small wrists, so it is a little big for me but it is perfect for my husband. This is one of those things that you don't think much about, but it makes all the difference when attached to an expensive camera. It is easy to swim with and comfortable, and is buoyant after several hours underwater. It dries thoroughly overnight. The bright color is easy to see even at depth in silt.

Really works!

Took this to Hawaii attached to an underwater camera. Tested it in the sink at home before I left but still nervous...until our snorkeling guide tossed my camera to me in the middle of the pacific ocean and it floated easily. Soft material on your wrist, so doesn't rub or annoy. It is really fat, so it's not going to fit in your pocket. Plenty of wrist room so should fit most. Clips on/off easily for adding and drying. Great idea if you don't want to lose your camera!

Awesome, fun, and functional!

Honestly, I bought this for the color and was skeptical about buoyancy...I purchased it along with a heavy point and shoot (a half a pound camera) and thought surely it would over-weigh the floater....SURPRISE this thing keeps it afloat. Its wrist to camera length is on point, not too long, not too short. The stitching is great quality. The fabric dries in minutes. The only downside in my opinion is the size of it when not near water. It's bulky and just too big vs normal point & shoots. But it is a floater after all and it does what it's intended for very well. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase!

Perfect for underwater point and shoot cameras

Great floating strap. Used it with my underwater camera on a trip to Hawaii and it worked great. The opening is just the right size to easily slip your hand through even when fumbling around in the water. It floats great, easily supporting my camera. It actually saved my camera a few times as it came out of my swimsuit pocket while snorkeling. I looked and saw the bright yellow strap above the water making it easy to locate. I'm not sure what type of foam is used inside the strap, but it dries very quickly, so you don't have a soggy strap in your beach bag. There is also a quick release clip on the cord so you can easily remove the floating part of the strap if you want to use your camera without the big, yellow float dangling off of it. Great price for an effective tool!

Worked Great!

I bought this camera float for a kayaking/sailing/SUP/snorkeling trip in Central America. It did just what I needed it to do, which was to make it easy to carry a camera while snorkeling and give me a way to retrieve my camera if it went overboard when kayaking, sailing, or paddleboarding. When I was snorkeling, I could slide the float up above my elbow and swim unimpeded . (I have slender arms.) When I was in a boat or on a board, I didn't worry about using my camera, even in high surf or windy conditions, because it would float if I dropped it in the water. I'll continue to use it for water sports because it provides a simple, inexpensive solution to avoiding the loss of a camera.

Super handy for water fun

Super handy floating wristlet for playing water fun with the kids. I own a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, the phone for reference sakes, is completely water proof and therefore I carry it with me to the swimming pool for all the "family photo opts", this review is not about my phone but the wristlet camera float, but I wanted to put out that this is the phone it's being used on. So my main downside about the floater is that it doesn't attach to the phone in any other way except with the string loop, luckily for me on my phone I already have one of those silly keyring stands attached to the back of the phone via 3m sticky tape, the ring helps my phone stand and hold better so I attach the string to this loop, unless your phone has those old school Nokia keyring attachment loops or you have a custom case with a secure attachment point this floater won't work for you. Once that's aside the floater works as usual, you'll easily be able to spot the phone, I no longer need to constantly carry the phone in my hand, worrying that it'll drop to the bottom of the pool, requiring me to dive and fish it out. There is a quick release on the loop so that you can detach the floater from the phone at any time, it's able to carry the weight of my phone, and seems fine for heavier items, but I did not test this against oh say a tablet, not that I have any water proof tablets to play with. The yellow is a less bright and shiny yellow than I imagined, but it will be easy to spot in the middle of the water. Package arrived in it's own sealed package and was protected well in the external packaging, making this also a great gift idea for the swimming pool selfie lovers you know. Overall, it does it's job and I have no issues with it.
