Good Experience
So far I am really enjoying my Sense. I personally enjoy its ability to detect when I fall asleep the most. This makes tracking sleep quality something I don't have to think about. I think Sense did a great job with their app: I find it easy to use and informative. In comparison to other sleep tracking apps, Sense seems more reliable and easier to engage with. It is fitting well into my life style and I am so far glad I purchased it. I am looking forward to seeing what insights it can provide to me in the long term.

I'm in love with the packaging (actually, the product itself sits right on top of the box for me). The company puts out an update here and there for their phone application, so it's nice to see the developers still looking into improvements. The build quality is gorgeous and the aesthetics of the unit as a whole couldn't be any more pleasing. In regards to the utility of the device, I only found myself looking at the sleep data once in a great while even though I told myself I would monitor my sleep more often; it's something you can just leave to collect data, forget about, and review as needed. I highly recommend this product!

Great device, has made a significant difference.
I am my spouse's caregiver, and due to the nature of her illness, she sleeps very poorly, and with this device for the last month her doctor and I have been able to track her actual sleep, and the doctor prescribes the appropriate amount of prescription medication, room temp. etc., accordingly. Has made a significant difference in her sleep habits, as we continue to refine sleeping conditions, medication and quantities Many thanks

Sense Is Great For Sleeping Better
Sense was originally funded through Kickstarter. But this product doesn't feel or perform like a Kickstarter project. It's beautifully crafted and thoughtfully designed. As someone who struggles with consistent sleep schedules, Sense has helped tremendously in giving me a look into my sleep environment, as well as my sleep patterns and habits. Sense allowed me to see how inconsistent my wake up times were, and when I would toss and turn because of the temperature being too warm. Making adjustments based on what Sense was saying, I now have better sleep than ever before. There are plenty of products designed to improve your life, but Sense is one of the few that truly does, so long as you keep up with checking the app(another great thing, no intrusive notifications!)

was the Smart Alarm feature
As someone with serious sleep issues, this crazy little device has given me and my doctor a whole new insight into my nightly sleep patterns. One of the features that were an immediate plus, was the Smart Alarm feature. I no longer wake up in a bad mood after being woken by some horrible siren, and then stay in that bad mood all morning. The Smart Alarm wakes me when I'm in a light state of sleep with a soothing musical alarm, and I wake up actually in a good mood. The only drawback right now is travel. I've taken two weekend trips since purchasing it, and I was unable to get it connected to the hotel internet, so I have no sleep info recorded for 6 days last month. Update --------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that I've had the Sense for a few months, I can honestly say that I still love it. As far as I can tell, based on what I can remember from night to night, the record keeping of movement and sound while I am asleep is pretty accurate. I have only had to adjust my wake time in the timeline once. My doctor is pleased with the recordkeeping of the device as well, as he can now see what is basically going on from night to night without having to keep me in a sleep pod every night.

It's a godsend, totally revamped my mornings.
I've been using this sleep monitor for over 7 months now and it's really changed my mornings. The main feature I use the Sense for is the alarm that adjusts to my sleep cycle. You set the alarm with an absolute latest "wake me by" time and the device will do its best to wake you up at the ideal point within a half hour prior to your alarm. The idea behind this is that it wants you to wake up when you're not deep in your sleep cycle. It definitely works, as a person who used to just set an alarm for 5:45 and wake up regardless of when I fell asleep I can tell you this is like a godsend. The sense gently rouses you using a progressive alarm and the fact that it chooses the best point is amazing. I wake up feeling energized, not groggy. Though the auto-alarm set is my number 1 feature this device also has all sorts of cool sensors. In the winter primarily I use it to test humidity, it lets me know if I need to run the humidifier (I most always do need to in the winter) or reduce the heat. While it uses an app for specifics, the coolest part is that you just need to wave your hand over the device and it will tell you how good the conditions are. Red means bad, green means good and there are varying hues in between. Another neat feature is the sensor allowing you to wave your hand over it for info AND to turn the alarm off. Welcome to the future where you turn your alarm off with a hand gesture. So cool! My primary phone is windows phone, unfortunately Sense doesn't have a windows app. If it did I would use the sleep metrics page a lot more but I do have an android device I keep around just for the metrics. It's really interesting to see how well you sleep, this gives a detailed history of your night, how often you tossed around, when you fell asleep when you woke up, etc etc. It also gives suggestions for your next night of sleep. The tossing and turning is a very helpful feature and for the most part everything is very accurate though when I first started using the device I did have to correct the time I went to bed a couple times. I think it uses the lights turning off and/or a significant motion on the pillow sensor (like someone getting into bed) to determine the time a person went to bed. The fall asleep time it gives is usually pretty accurate (or at least I think it is, don't look at a clock right when I fall asleep) as for this they measure movement and noise levels in the room. In the end, I am so happy I have Sense. It's crucial I wake up when I do and I no longer feel terrible doing it. For the money this was perfect, you don't have to wear anything or remember to set anything, set it up once and you're good to go. Absolutely love it!
